Yep. That is the exact moment. She was hitting on Wade and trying to get him to sleep with her, despite the fact that he was with Vivian. Wade told her that he wasn't that guy who did that anymore. I also truly believe that even though he was with Vivian and might have cared about her a bit, subconsciously maybe, a lot of the reason why Wade was with Vivian was to try and prove to Zoe that he wasn't the same guy that cheated on her. He never wanted to look badly in Zoe's eyes.

Everything Wade did was for Zoe. He changed for her and no one else. Vivian wasn't why he changed. Zoe was. He tried to be a better man for her. He wanted her to see that he had changed. It's not that he didn't cheat on Vivian because he loved her more than Zoe, he didn't do it again, cause cheating cost him the only relationship he ever cared about and if he did it again, it would have hurt his chances of Zoe ever coming back, cause it just would have proved he hadn't changed.

So, I will never believe he didn't cheat because of Vivian and her feelings, he didn't cheat, because he never wanted to be that guy again in Zoe's eyes.

Yeah, I agree completely! He may not of realized why he changed, how he changed because he might have thought he was moving on from Zoe, but everything he did was so that he could prove to Zoe that he changed. I always felt like he always knew there was a chance to get Zoe back even if she was with someone else at the time and if he ever cheated again, he knew that his chances of that would have been gone. That was the last thing he wanted to do. He had to try his hardest to get back the one girl who meant something to him.

I think he picked up on her looks, her jealousy and her need to stay away from him and he realized quickly, all those things screamed she wasn't over him. Which is why he picked at her about it. He could feel she wasn't over him. I mean, anyone with eyes could see it, (except Joel). He also knew she wasn't gonna budge, so he stirred the pot a little by asking Vivian out. No one is gonna convince me he didn't do that at first, just to get to Zoe, either.

ohhhh yeah. I completely agree! He picked up on her actions so quickly and saw right through it all that is why Wade didn't hold back whatsoever and he just continued to pick on her about it because he knew what was the truth. Wade knew that jealousy might be the only way for Zoe to get out of denial and he was completely right! Tansy might have tried to push it along a little bit by telling him he needed to move on, but he didn't even think twice about going out with Vivian. He knew that would get under Zoe's skin.

Yep. Exactly. There could have been anyone pretty much because he was Wade, but he chose someone that was in Zoe's family to be interested in. That is why at that point he was angry at Zoe for not seeing that he changed and called her out on being upset about Wade dating someone in her family. I don't think he was really interested in Vivian at all. It was just all about winning Zoe back.

I think he subconsciously used Vivian to try and get over Zoe and under her skin at the same time. I don't think he was intentionally using her, but his heart was always with Zoe and therefore he would project feelings he was feeling for Zoe, onto Vivian.

It was killing him watching Zoe be in a relationship while he was alone. He tried to distract himself and kinda in a way, saw that his attempts at winning Zoe again, weren't happening, so he tried to move on. It didn't work though, cause all the pent up anger he had been feeling, started spilling out and he used Vivian as an excuse for his anger and heartbreak, when really, it was Zoe all along.

yeah. Exactly. When Tansy was trying to get him to move on from Zoe, he knew that he had to try because Zoe was with someone else and he couldn't keep pining over her forever, but since Zoe was always the one girl on his mind at all times when he bumped into Vivian he figured she had potential to be someone he could date and Vivian was the closest thing he could get to Zoe since she was family. In order for him to cope with his feelings for Zoe, he just projected all of his feelings for her onto Vivian making him think that he had something real with her, but in reality it was Zoe he had the "something real" with.

Yep, just like Zoe picking Joel, who was the complete opposite of Wade. In the end though, opposite was not what she wanted, because she wanted him.

Yep, which is why she made comments about not wanting Joel to be like Wade, etc.. and the more Joel hung out with Wade, the more he rubbed off on Joel. I'll still never get over Wade cracking up at what Brick did to Zoe about the cake contest and Joel tried his best to keep his laugh in and he couldn't. She got so mad. She was trying to get rid of every thought of Wade as she could and Joel was about as opposite as you could get.

Yeah, I think it is funny and interesting to me how both Wade and Zoe coped with their feelings for each other in different ways with their relationships. Wade chose someone who was the closest person he could be with to Zoe herself, and Zoe chose someone who was the furthest away from being Wade himself. That is why Zoe hated when Joel started hanging out with Wade because she was trying to keep Joel from becoming like Wade.
