Stupid LG wanted LL so she suddenly made Lavon a moron!

Yeah, I mean, if we are completely honest, if LG wanted LL that badly, she should have just stuck with it instead of randomly springing it on us after it seemed that Lavon had moved on from Lemon and everything. But I seriously kind of hoped that when we found out that AB still loved Lavon, that something would come of that.

Yeah, I don't understand why, if she wanted them so badly, she didn't make them the story in season 2. It started out that way with Lemon helping with the campaign, & then the show veered away from it & I think most of the audience were fine with not seeing them explored, because it felt like what Lavon had with AB was better, & there were still lots of options for Lemon too

Yeah, exactly. That is the frustrating part about it is they seemed to want to explore it in season 2 when Lemon ended up with feelings for Lavon again, but then the story seemed to be abandoned completely. With Lavon with Ruby and then with AB. So it just seemed out out nowhere that it was brought back again after all that time.

Yeah, I definitely did not believe that Lavon had any lingering feelings for Lemon in s2 - he had the chance to be with her then, & he wasn't at all interested. He was all about AB

Yeah. And the thing that bothered me is that at the end of things in season 4, they made it seem like Lemon and Lavon were like what Wade and Zoe was when they were broken up. But it was nowhere close to that because Lavon was in love with 2 people in the middle of his time with Lemon.

They just never wrote LL as a believable love story.

No, they didn't. And the one little flashback we got from what they were when Lemon had the affair didn't make it believable that they could have been in love with each other.

Same, it felt like Lemon was just using Lavon as a way to try & ignore her problems...
