I can get staying because moving with a newborn cannot be easy. But eventually, they needed their own actual kitchen.

True, but I can't imagine it was that easy having a newborn in that carriage house either & having to go over to the house whenever they needed to use the kitchen. I wish they had just got their own place before the baby was born, it would have been a healthy step for them to take
