Even though things were rough for them when they were geting counselling, I actually love that scene

It was a good scene. They had problems, but it was always clear to me that they loved one another.

Me too, I thought they were doomed from the beginning, but even then I remember George's speech in 1x10 & thinking about how George did truly love her & it would take a long time for him to get over her.

When I started to watch the show, I didn't truly appreciate these two, but when I rewatched it last year, I loved a lot of their S1 scenes

Same, after season 3 I felt completely differently about their story. I did always think that they loved each other, I guess I just never really paid too much attention to them because I didn't see the point. They seemed like an obstacle for ZG...

that is true. in season 1 they were... i dont know.. I mean we were forced to think that they didnt belong togehter and all you know.. its the way they were written in season one with george pining after zoe but then lateron I truly appreciated their moments

Yeah, she was kinda written as the villain. Like we were all meant to feel sorry for Zoe because she liked George & he was with someone awful, so Zoe should swoop in & save it from an awful relationship

I liked them in the 2nd half of season 1 and always hoped they'd go back to them. It was a story that I would have liked to see. After rewatching their scenes in season 1, I really fell for them even more.

I loved getting that little story, but it does make the whole thing kinda bittersweet considering how that ep ended
