It was obvious that the writers were just pairing up the spare parts....I hated all the Tansy stuff with Scooter, but her & George ending up together would have made more sense because he did have feelings for her at times throughout seasons 2 & 3 & they had actually had a relationship before

But Lemon was my #1 choice for George

As for AB, she first mentioned she had a crush on Lavon in 1x12 & in 4x03 she was still in love with him, with 7 episodes left there's no one else that I could believe she would be happy with - even if she did deserve better than Lavon.

I would have preferred George/Lemon, but I would have been happy with George/Tansy, it would have made sense for them to give it another shot considering they never really got closure & then see what happened next

Me too, I think AB especially deserved some happiness, but it probably would have been better for them both to end up single, perhaps with a bit more focus on how they were both starting new chapters of their lives career-wise, & they both had hope that they would meet the right person in the future

^that's how I thought ABs story was going to end as soon as she mentioned nursing school. I thought she would think she would focus on her career forget about lavon etc focus on herself

Yeah, there was just no way I could see her dating anyone else, maybe a rebound thing like Davis - even though that clearly didn't work because she was still in love with Lavon.....she could date a little, but ultimately s4 should have been about her workong on herself

Or have George/AB be flirty and just starting out dating in S4 and then make the end scene of the series be a flash forward and have them being a couple there.

Yeah, it would make more sense to show a spark in 4x09, because that would have given AB 6 eps for her to try & move on (still not enough really) & then they can begin something in 4x10 & what happens next is for the audience to interpret really.

Even with the a few flashforwards, they can't make me think that LL & GAB actually stayed together

No, I mean AB still had feelings for Lavon in 4x03, so they could have given her 6 eps on her own to move on & then show something potentially for George in 4x09. She needed some time to herself & I know 6 eps aren't really long enough for her to move on she'd be in love with for two years, but it'd be better then her jumping straight from Lavon to George.

LL had literally been together for 2 & a half episodes when they got engaged.....& their whole relationship was based on an affair that they both had built up in their heads so much that only last 6 weeks & had ended 4 years ago. There's no way they'd last.....they've have a honeymoon period, & then reality would set in.

Definitely agree about LL. They had the fanasty in their heads we always talked about Zoe having.

I'm not sure what you think I mean, do you think I mean starting up AB & George 4x04? I mean giving her 6 episodes to move on from Lavon before starting Geoge & AB so that's: 1. 4x04, 2: 4x05, 3: 4x06, 4: 4x07, 5. 4x08, 6: 4x09. So that's 6 episodes after her telling Lavon she's still in love with him where she stays single & it's slight more believeable that she might actually genuinely be ready to have feelings for someone else. I don't really get why you're picking at this.
