Yeah, I think that was it. We knew from George's relationship with Lemon, he didn't really do well with the craziness in women. And Shelby was another Lemon in a lot of ways. Brick on the other hand crazy women didn't even phase him because he was surrounded by them with Lemon, Magnolia, and Zoe.

Yeah, he was. And plus, it is almost like that is the only way he knew women to be because every woman he was surrounded by in his everyday life was like that.
