They were pretty amazing And Wade acknowledging the image he has and that he's the only one that can change that (what did he say? Something like "you are the choices you make"?) really is a sign of growth. I also think that his character needs that at this point. And the song and Wade's line about the rhyme word for Tucker, made me giggle

I agree, it was so selfless and nice of Wade to ask Zoe to call her dad for George Wade really is an amazing friend and guy and I hope he'll realise that soon

It really broke my heart to see him feeling like a nobody compared to "Golden Boy" George Poor Wade

because Wade just thought of a wonderful rhyme for Tucker
because "my buddy George, he's a great guy"
because Wade proxied for George in asking for for help

I refused to believe that it took Wade that long though to realize the Tucker rhyme... everyone in high school knew that much for the Tucker we had

I definitely found Wade so relateable when he was on the stage talking about George at the MOTY reception.

I giggled so hard at the Tucker-line Seeing that I’m not a native speaker, I hadn’t thought about it before, so it came pretty funny to me

My heart broke for Wade when he first talked to George before going up on stage, and George was so grateful, and then he was there on stage, drunk, and clearly struggling with all the emotions inside of him.

That’s true, Ellie. I am glad that they are still friends though, and that Wade doesn’t hate George for being called the Golden Boy by everyone. They make such a great team. And I am glad George appreciates Wade for the person he is, and nothing else
