Watched 3x02 today, one of the few eps where we got lots of George/Lavon material... I still find Lynley annoying though

It was the episode when Lavon kicked George off the team for the race against Fillmore because he found out about him and Linley. They had a nice scene together when George was convincing Lavon to let him run in the race.

Lavon was more competitive about it because it was against Filmore.

Did he? Sometimes I think these two kind of fed off of each other when it came to being in competition with Filmore
