yeah I did too. He wasn't as serious in Season 3 and 4 IMO.

yeah, I agree. it was nice seeing a less serious side of George. I think it really changed once he did a little more of the music thing.

yeah I agree. I think George's character was way better when he wasn't with Lemon. And I could probably say the same thing about Lemon's character too.

I think that was definitely part of it, but I think the writers also stopped trying to right him as 'the golden boy' that they thought people would root for Zoe to be with

Yeah, that is true. "The Golden Boy" was definitely not what we rooted for. I remember in the pilot I could see that they were trying to pose it that way which actually deterred me from shipping in that direction. I am glad that George's character changed.
