I think it is a matter of preference. We all have favorite friendships so ending a show without seeing it is a big deal!

And Zoe/Lavon was the first friendship we saw on the show.

Kate, I didn't mind her. Her OTT was fine for one episode but I don't think I need it every episode!

My question is: if it continued it is like they are starting the show over with different people, yes?

I prefer thinking the meaning is that BB goes on and our happy couples too, is not over yet the show ends. Someone already mention it that way and i loved it. And the scenes with all the families in their house kind of mean the same. Why Earl was not there???

If the show renewed, they could use some of them, or not, i don't think it would be a problem, neither GAB, could came back.
Did you think that Olivia should be younger to fit the triangle? may be they were looking someone younger but Autum was more appealing for the reunion.

I think the show evolved from a drama first comedy second to the opposite. The 4th season had some initial drama with ZW and to some extent LL and GAB but mostly it was just lighthearted fun and I think could continue on that path if they got more episodes.

I would like the core cast to remain if it returned. George is the only one that seemed like it would be harder to have return as he is chasing his dream as a manager to he could return eventually. The new doctor could be gone if there had been a time jump of a year maybe. Then they didn't have to have Olivia there if they didn't want to as she was only there for a year.

This is all hypothetical of course but it's fun to think about what LG would present the network with given the opportunity to plead her case for a renewal. I doubt there is many more fandoms out there so emotional attached to their show as this one.

We all assumed AB moved to Nashville but I guess they could always just play it off like she was visiting thus having to have George appear in episodes to see her and maybe check on the new chick at the practice?

My only problem is the ending had a major series finale feel that I don't know if I want them to continue because I don't know how they could top even come close to ending it again in a more perfect way.

I didn't see it as AB moving to Nashville. She said she wouldn't uproot herself for a man. I think they realized they loved each other and they would get through what ever obstacles lay ahead so I just saw it as AB visiting him.

I don't want them to try and top that finale. I do think they could easily tell us more stories about our quirky town and couples and end each season with a happy moment without it taking anything away from Friday's perfection.

So thinking about this finale...what a perfect way to end this show. Everyone was friends and everyone is happy. And Zoe and Wade not only got married but had a baby. They showed how IN LOVE Zoe and Wade are and Lemon/Lavon and even George and AB. I love that it ended with the musical montage because it was just so Bluebell. And like someone pointed it out, the end was to show that Zoe's story was over but Bluebell's never was.

Zoe found the home and happiness she had never previously known she was missing. And really every character grew and learned a lot since Zoe arrived in the "charming" town.

I seriously can't think of a more perfect ending for this show.
