they went right upstairs and starting packing their daughters things and Addison had to smile at how many things Selina wanted to bring "honey, you know that Josh and Kate have toys too" she tried to remind her "but marly is only 2 and a half.. she doesnt have such cool toys" Selina said and pouted "oh honey, that still doesnt mean that you have to bring your tea party set, legos, your drawning crayons and paper and 10 stuffed animals" Addison reminded her and Selina sighed "okay... i will only take 5 stuffed animals" she told Addison who laughed at that "how about 2 and the legos?" she asked and Selina crossed her arms in front of her chest "and crayons" she said and Addison nodded "okay"

He chuckled seeing all the toys Selina wanted to bring with her to Kate and Josh's place and finally she and Addison agreed on 2 stuffed animals, legos and crayons. After they packed all her toys they also packed her pjs so she could change there when it was time for bed. "Okay kiddo looks like you're all packed" he mentioned and kissed her cheek. "You ready for your sleepover?" he asked and she nodded with a smile. He knew they would both miss their daughter but it was important that they the night alone together to celebrate their anniversary. "Then let's get going" he suggested and he took her bag, carrying it for her and they got into the car together and drove to Kate and Josh's place. When they reached their friend's place they all got out of the car and walked to the door together.

Kate

When she heard their car pull up she went to the door and opened it, smiling when she saw her friends. "Hey guys, and hey munchkin you all ready to sleepover?" she asked and Selina smiled and showed her, her bag. "I brought lots of toys" she told her. "That's good, I'm sure we'll have fun" she assured her and ruffled her hair. She gave Addison and Mark hugs. "You two have fun tonight, and happy anniversary" she told them with a smile, glad that they were back together again.

she was glad that their daughter was not angsty or anything else about sleeping over and kissed her cheek "okay.. lets get going" she said and was glad that MArk carried the bag because she was sure that it was pretty heavy. The drive to Kate and joshs place took about 15 minutes and she liked it that all of their friends lived kinda close by. They got out of the car and waited at the door and when kate opened Addison smiled "hey" she said and smiled "thank you so much for offering to watch her, I know you guys already have your hands full" she said and smiled when Josh Appeared with Marly in his arms

Oh dont worry about it guys, those two play really great together and Marly always likes it when Selina comes over because she brings many new toys" he told them which made all of them laugh

"that is true of course, she would pack her whole room" she agreed and then smiled "and thank you.. altough its more like the four of us" she said and rubbed her stomach.

He chuckled at Josh's comment and he was glad that their kids got along well. Marly smiled "Selly!" she called out, glad to see her friend. "And toys" she added, knowing that Selina always brought toys with her for them to play with. He smiled at Addison's comment about it being more like the 4 of them and he kissed her lips. "And yes we will have fun" he replied. "Thanks again you guys" he told them. "Be good sweetheart and have fun with Marly, and Kate and Josh" he told her and Selina hugged both of her parents goodnight. "Goodnight guys, night Marly, we'll be here to pick up Selina in the morning" he promised. After Addison also said goodnight they made their way back into the car and drove back to the house. When they pulled into the driveway he smiled. "Now we have the whole rest of the night to ourselves" he mentioned and he kissed her lips before getting out of the car and walking to the door. They walked inside together and he wrapped his arms around her. "So I made reservations for tonight, and I thought we could go out for a romantic dinner, sound good?" he asked her and kissed her lips. Now they just needed to change.

she waved at Kate and josh, thankin them once again for taking care of their girl and then said goodbye to Selina, kissing her cheek and hugging her tight "bye princess, I will miss you" she told her and then kissed her again "bye mommy, I will miss you too, see you tomorrow" she said and Addison smiled "okay munchkin" seh said and waved at them all one last time and then went with Mark to the car and let him drive them home. when they reached it they walked in together and she smiled when Mark threw his arms around her "I know.. and i love the thought" she told him and then smiled wider when he reminded her that he had made reservations. "hm where exactly?" she wanted to know "just so that i know what to wear" she said while they walked upstairs to their bedroom.

He smiled when she told him she loved that thought and when she asked where they were going so she would know what to wear he grinned softly. "Hmm you don't need to worry about that. I bought you a dress for tonight" he admitted. It was an anniversary gift and he hoped she would love it. Of course it was red, which looked amazing on her and he'd gotten her the right size so it would fit even with her bump. When they reached the bedroom he opened his closet and pulled out the dress which he'd hidden away. "And I asked the saleswomen for a pair of shoes to match" he told her and pulled out a box with new matching red louboutin shoes which he knew were her favorite.

she looked up surprised when he let her know that he had brought her a dress" you have?" she asked and smiled at him "thats,... thank you Mark" she let him know as he went to look for the dress. She stared at the red dress and she swore she had never seen a more beautiful dress "that is gorgeous Mark, thank you so much" she whispered and smiled even wider when he pulled out matching shoes, of course her favourite label. "Mark.. you are awesome" she told him and hugged him tightly. "of course I also have a gift for you, I am affraid that it is not that perfect but ... oh well" she said and walked out of the room and came back a few minuets later. "I hope you like it" she whispered and gave the small package and an envelope. in the small package was a watch he had eyed when they had gone shopping the last time and in the envelope was a weekend in vegas, just the two of them.

He nodded and loved that she was so happy about the dress and shoes. "I'm really glad you like them" he told her and hugged her back, kissing her lips. "You're going to look amazing" he added with a sparkle in his eyes. Not that she ever didn't. When she let him know that she also had a gift for him he smiled surprised. "You didn't have to" he told her but then she came back with a small package and an envelope which he took from her gratefully. He opened the package first and when he saw the watch he'd eyed when they went shopping the last time he smiled. "It's the watch I saw when we were in the mall, it's perfect thank you" he told her and didn't waste any time in putting in on, wanting to wear it tonight. He opened the envelope next and when he saw two tickets to vegas he was happily surprised once again. "Wow Addie, this is amazing" he told her and he loved the thought of a weekend away, just the two of them. "They are both perfect, thank you" he told her and he kissed her lips, deepening it immediately.

she smiled and kissed his lips again "you bet I am" she told him and it was almost sad that this dress would be something she could only wear once becuase in a few weeks she would be too big for it and when she had the kids it wouldnt fit her anymore, but well the shoes definitely were a keeper. "I know i didnt have to but I definitely want to and well.. the second gift is for the both of us so.." she explained and then nodded "yes its the same watch, I am really glad you like it" she whispered and smiled as he opened the envelope. !"yeah well I thought we could use a weekend before those two get here, becasue after that we sure as hell wont have time for that" she let him know and then responded to his kiss.

He grinned softly, loving how she agreed and he responded to her kiss. "Well it's perfect and I can't wait to go away with you, and Vegas sound great" he told her, thinking they would have a great time together there. "We should get ready, we don't want to be late for dinner" he pointed out. He let go of her so she could get dressed but not before he kissed her lips one more time. While he let her get dressed he did the same, putting on a nice black suit with a red tie, to match her dress and he put on some of her favorite cologne. When he was ready he took a seat on the bed and waited for her.

"Yeah we should" she agreed with him and then went to get dressed but not before they kissed once more. She took her clothes of and cahnged into new underwear, red of course and then put on the dress, and really, it did look absolutely amazing and she was sure that she had never looked that great. She brushed her hair and wore it half way up half way down and then applied some make up with red lipstock. in the end she put on her shoes and looked herself in the mirror "not so bad" she said to herself and then turend around to watch Mark "you look really handsome Mister" she told him and smiled.

When he saw her his eyes widened and his heart raced in his chest. "Wow....you look.....wow" he told her, barely able to breathe. He stood up from the bed and he grinned at her. Sometimes it was still hard to believe that she was his. "Thank you" he replied when she let him know he looked handsome. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her red lips. "Hmmm you always make it so hard to leave the house when we go out" he whispered against her lips. But it was their anniversary and he didn't want to miss taking her out for a romantic dinner. "Come on, we better get out of here before I change my mind" he whispered with a slight grin and he led her downstairs and out to the car. He opened the door for her and then got in himself and drove to the restaurant he'd chosen for tonight. It was a beautiful little place in the city with incredible Italian food. "Going back to vegas should be a lot of fun" he mentioned during the ride there. They'd certainly had a very good time the first time.

she smiled at his reaction, glad that he seemed to still find her more beautiful than any other woman "thank you" she whispered softly but pushed him away softly "not... you ruin the lipstick" she said teasingly and caressed his cheek "and I am sorry, but you do really look great as well, and hey.. its me who is in her second trimester" she reminded him, seeing as it was really hard to resist him at the moment. "and yes we better go.. I wont jump you in front of a restaurant full of people" she let him know and together they walked downstairs and to their car, getting in and while he drove them to the restaurant she looked out of the window. Soon they reached the place and got ouf of the car "oh I know, Thatswhy I chose it.. back to the roots, you know" she said and smiled while they were seated after giving the receptionist their name. "its beautiful here, I love it"

He smirked when she wouldn't let him kiss her, explaining that he would ruin her lipstick. "Well I fully plan on ruining that lipstick at some point tonight" he whispered near her ear. When she reminded him that she was the one in her second trimester he grinned softly. "True, then I better not make it any harder for you" he teased. He smiled when she let him know that was why she chose Vegas. They had good memories at that place. It was where they'd gotten married. When they reached the restaurant and walked inside he gave the receptionist his name and they were seated right away at a beautiful table for two with candles and roses. "I'm glad you do" he replied and took the menu that was handed to him as the waitress came by. "And you really look breathtaking" he let her know again and stared into her beautiful blue eyes. "What will you order?" he asked her, knowing they would share.

she blushed softly, and she was sure that he noticed even in the candle light "thank you" she whispered softly nd then took the menu card into her hand looking over it "well, considering I should order something that doesnt make the waiter look at me like I am crazy, I wont use spaghetti with honey and tuna" she said and shrugged softly before she smiled "I think I will go with the canneloni and add a lot of cheese to that" she let him know "what about you? chose already?" she asked him while he put the card down.
