she tensed when he wrapped his arms around her but then relaxed. She looked at him and although his words sounded honest and sinceer she didnt know what to make of them. They had been through a lot and when he wasnt there for her this afternoon she was reminded of their time apart. He didnt need to be in this.. there was nothing holding him there, they were not married and the moment he was fed up with taking care of twin girls or boys.. he could leave and she would be alone again. Alone. Thats how she felt that afternoon and that feeling was something she never wanted to experience anymore. "you always say that we are in this together? But who is giving me the quarantee that you wont back out?" she asked and looked up and into his eyes.

He could see that his words weren't really reaching her and when she asked him what guarantee there was that he wouldn't back out he finally understood what she meant and he looked into her eyes and sighed deeply. That's what this was about. It wasn't just that he hadn't talked to the chief. It was that she had no guarantee that he wasn't going to leave her when things got tough. He reached out and he caressed her cheek with the back of his hand for a moment "Addison...I'm not going to leave" he whispered. "I love you, I love you so much and I love our children. I know that I messed up before, that I let you go but...I won't do that again. I promise you, I'm not going anywhere" he told her, speaking from his heart. "This is it, it's you and me and our family. That is all I want. So, I'm giving you the guarantee. I'm never going to back out" he assured her as he looked deeply into her eyes.

his touch was soft and she leaned into his hand when he reached for her cheek looking into his eyes, seeing that she had finally made him understand. She listened to him when he started to speak and she knew that the words that folloewd were coming straight from his hard. She was glad that he finally told her that he wasnt going to leave, that he loved her and that he regretted the past. She needed to hear this now more than ever and when he promised her that he was not going anywhere and that she and their family was all he wanted, that he gave her a guarantee she smiled softly "I needed to hear this" she admitted. "I .. i know that you love me... but you have loved me before too.. but i believe you ... thank you Mark" she told him and snuggled up to him, wrapping her arms around him "I am sorry for reacting this way but .. i really needed to know that you were into this"

He looked into her eyes as she leaned into his touch and he could see that his words had reached her. When he saw the soft smile on her face he kissed her lips softly and nodded when she explained that she needed to hear that. "You don't have to thank me. I'm glad that you know that now. I didn't realize you weren't sure, but then again we never really talked about it" he replied. It hadn't even occurred to him that she was afraid that he might leave her or that this wasn't going to last forever. She snuggled up to him and wrapped her arms around him and he held her close in his strong arms. "It's okay Addie....and of course I'm in this. I'm all in" he assured her and looked into her eyes.

smiling she softly kissed his lips "I am all in too Mark, just in case you werent sure about that, I am totally and utterly all in" she let him know wiht a large smile. "we made our mistakes, we tried to be apart, it didnt work because the whole universe knows that we belong together. And I am glad that we wont fight this anymore." she whispered and kissed his lips again. She closed her eyes and snuggled up even closer to him "I think we should sleep" she told him and breathed in his scent "its gettling later and when I am lying here like that.. I am getting really sleepy" she told him with a light grin

He smiled when she let him know that she was all in as well. In his heart he knew but it was good to hear her say the words. He responded to her kiss and nodded softly. They did belong together and there was no denying that anymore. Being apart had hurt both of them and in the end it didn't work. They needed each other and they always would. When she closed her eyes and snuggled even closer he sighed softly, feeling content. "Hmm yeah I guess we should" he agreed and smiled at how adorable she was. "I love you Addie....sleep well" he whispered to her and kissed her lips once more.

A month later.....

A month had gone by fast and Today was their 6 month anniversary. After being apart they had been dating again for half a year now and they'd come a long way in that time. Addison was already in about her 16th week of pregnancy in her second trimester with the twins and Selina had turned 4. She was growing up so fast and she couldn't wait to meet her little brothers or sisters. Today He had plans for them to spend their days as a family, taking the day off from work and tonight they would have a romantic evening together, just the two of them while Selina slept over at Josh and Kate's place. He couldn't wait to celebrate with the love of his life. This time, it was going to last forever and he felt sure of that. They were a family and more then that they belonged together. That morning he woke up and found her asleep in his arms. "Good morning gorgeous" he whispered near her ear and placed soft kisses along her neck and then on her lips, gently waking her up. She had been doing better lately. She wasn't as nauseous with morning sickness and she was definitely glowing.

she couldnt believe that they were once again celebration their half a year anniversary, and it felt too good to be true. She hoped that they were celebrating a lot more anniversaries together. Addison had already reached her 4th months of pregnancy and she was more than just showing, considering she was carrying twins. Still, she loved every second of her pregnancy altough it got harder and harder at work and she knew for sure that she couldnt work until up to her 8th month like last time. Today, tho.. all thoughts were on her family."hmmm good morning" Addison softly murmured and turned around to watch Mark "why are you waking me up that early?"

He smirked when she looked at him and asked why he was waking her up this early. "It's our anniversary baby, half a year" he mentioned with a smile and he kissed her lips again. "You don't want to sleep through it, do you?" he asked with a smile and pulled her closer to him, tightening his arms around her waist. He loved this woman, so much. Sometimes he wasn't sure she even knew just how much he loved her. But he wanted to do his best to show her, every day. "How are you feeling? Are the twins being good?" he asked her, placing a hand on her stomach where the twins were growing inside her. It was still amazing to him that they were having twins and sometimes it was even a little bit scary but mostly it made him happy and he knew it made her happy too.

she glaread at him but smiled "oh, that I know.. Still, half an hour longer wouldnt have hurt" she let him know but kissed his lips. "I am feeling good, and yes they are being good, still sleeping apparently" she told him, altough at the most they were fluttering, they werent really kicking yet although she was sure that it wouldnt take long anymore. Smiling at him she sighed happily when he placed his hands on her stomach. "so.. do we have to get up already or does anniversary also mean that i get breakfast in bed?" she asked and smirked at him, knowing that this look could get her everywhere.

He rolled his eyes at her answer but then she kissed his lips and he smiled against her lips. "hmm I'm glad you're feeling good" he replied and was happy to hear that the twins were treating her well. Her question made him smile and he kissed her lips again. "We can definitely have breakfast in bed" he answered her. "I think you've earned it" he added, unable to resist the look on her face. "I'll be back with your breakfast then" he let her know. "You can sleep a little longer until then" he pointed out, seeing as how Selina was still asleep. She didn't have school today and it seemed like since she turned 4 she liked sleeping in like her mother. He walked downstairs into the kitchen and started making her breakfast, a little bit of everything that she loved. When he was finished he walked back upstairs with a big tray with pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage and orange juice. "Breakfast in bed is ready" he announced and joined her in bed with the tray. Selina having smelled the food left her room and went into her parents room. "Yummy breakfast, it smells good" she let her parents know and joined them in their big bed.

she smiled at his answer and nodded "breakfast in bed really would be great and .. take your time" she said smirking and closed her eyes while he walked out of the room. Much too early he was back with a large tray in his hand and Addison opened her eyes again "wow.. that was fast" she told him and sat up in bed, smiling at everything he had brought upstairs "hmm, that really smells good" she told him and then noticed her daughter standing in the room "well hello punkin" Addison greeted her daughter and hugged her when she jumped into bed with them. "hungry?" she asked and her girl nodded "well then .. lets eat" she said to her family as they all started to dig in.

He smiled at her when she let him know it had been fast. "Yeah well I'm good" he pointed out. Selina was adorable and he ruffled her hair "I'm glad you're up, you like to sleep in just like your mom" he pointed out. "And of course it smells good, your dad can cook" he replied playfully. They all started to eat breakfast together in bed and it was the perfect way to start the day. Selina drowned her pancake in maple syrup and he smirked at their little girl who took after her mother so much. When they were done eating he put the tray to the side so he could take it back downstairs later. "So I was thinking we could go to the park together, what do you think?" he asked his girls.

Altough Selina looked more like her father everyday, her character was all Addisons and she smirked a bit at that, seeing how Selina drowned the pancakes in maple syrup just like she did and made the same yummy noises while eating. she couldnt help but smile at that and continued eating breakfast and when they were done and Mark asked them if they wanted to go to the park she nodded her head "sure, that sounds great" she agreed and selina clapped her hands "the park is great, they have ice cream" She called out which made Addison laugh "honey.. we just ate" she told her and Selina shrugged her shoulders. "well.. we should get ready then, mommy really needs to take a shower" Addison said and Selina bent down to sniff "you smell all right mommy" she said and Addison chucked "well, thanks, I guess"

He chuckled at Selina's comment about ice cream and of course even though they just ate a big breakfast she was thinking about food again. When she sniffed Addison telling her she smelled all right he laughed out loud and tickled her. "Okay munchkin how about you pick out what you want to wear to the park while Mommy and I get ready" he suggested and she nodded at them. "Okay Daddy, I'll pick something pretty" she let him know. "Of course sweetheart just nothing dressy okay? Something you can play in for the park" he reminded her. She loved to dress herself and pick out her outfits and that was another thing he knew she got from her mother. He helped her down from the bed and she went into her room to look at her clothes. "You want some company in the shower?" he offered. "I'll even keep my hands to myself" he added with a smirk.

she watched her little girl run into the room and then grinned at Mark "I would love to.. but seeing how big I already am.. I feel fortunate when i can fit myself into the shower.. but we can always try" she let him know as she walked to the room, got undressed and turned the water on, waiting for it to warm up. When she knew that the water had the right temperature she stepped in and waited for Mark. "are you coming or what?" she called out and smiled at him, waiting that he would join her. They washed themselves, being kind of quick under the shower because they knew that Selina was alone in the room and after just 10 minutes they stepped out of the cabin and got dressed.
