Jonny and Samantha were the complete opposites. He was a bad boy, rarely in class, and she was the complete book worm, on the honor roll, the works. Their senior year of high school, Jonny was in danger of not graduating. Samantha offered to tutor him, and while the two didn't really get along, he was in no position to say no. They grew close, but of course he never told his friends that he was starting to have feelings for her. The two began to see each other in secret, stealing kisses where they could. It only took them one time together for Sam to get pregnant. Jonny was angry, not really with her, but with himself for letting it happen. He knew it wasn't an option for him to ignore the situation so he did the honorable thing and married Sam. His friends told him he was crazy, that she wasn't worth it...but to him she was. They've stayed home, and his parents have helped support them, while hers have basically disowned her.

Ryan and Jen have been best friends since they were kids. They were neighbors, and confided everything in each other. Jen had a crush on Ryan since they were young, but he never seemed to reciprocate. He loved her like a sister, and treated her as such. When he was a senior (she was a junior) in high school, she was raped. She came crying to him, and he did everything he could to console her. Jen didn't know who the guy was, but she just knew that she didn't want to be reminded of the horrible night. As fate would have it, that brutal act ended with her being pregnant. She went in to get an abortion, but once there, she couldn't do it. She couldn't punish the life of her unborn child just because of the circumstances of its conception. Ever the good guy, Ryan told her he would tell everyone the baby was his, he would marry her and make things right, even though his heart might have been elsewhere. Jen has been forever grateful to him, and loves him wholeheartedly for making them a family.

Ben and Sarah were the perfect couple. Everyone knew that they'd get married one of these days. They were entirely devoted to each other since high school, and nothing was going to tear them apart. He was a year older than she was, and went off to college on a scholarship in England while she stayed in town. Little did he know that he was leaving his pregnant girlfriend behind. She knew she was pregnant when he left, but refused to let him give up his bright future for her. When he returned home a year later, he found his loving girlfriend, with a three month old daughter. He insisted on marrying her, and she agreed, only if he promised that he would continue with school. The next fall, the family moved to England.

Cole and Katie were the perpetual on-again, off-again couple throughout their high school. They loved each other very much, but they were so different that it was hard for them to stay together. Katie found out she was pregnant on one of their 'off-again' times, but it was no doubt that Cole was the father. He was with another girl when she found out, and while she felt guilty doing so, she knew that he had the right to know. The two got back together, but Katie refused to marry him, just to make him feel less guilty. She figured that if he wanted to get married, she didn't want it to be a fix-it to a problem. Two years ago, Katie was offered a job in New York. She was took it, and it only took Cole about a minute to realize how much his family meant to him. He flew up to New York a day later, and proposed to her. His girls mean the world to him, and he wasn't about to lose them.

During her senior year of high school, Emma, always the over achiever, started to take classes at the local university. She started taking an English class from Andrew, and the two sparked a friendship, as he was impressed by someone showing so much tenacity for a high school student. Once class was over and she graduated, Emma started coming by Andrew's office, and the two soon developed an attraction, and soon couldn't resist each other anymore. Andrew knew that because she was once a student of his, it was probably unethical, but neither of them seemed to care after a while. When she found out she was pregnant, she waited a while to tell him, because she was afraid of how he might act. When he found out, he was actually thrilled, and didn't really care about the concequences. He insisted they get married, and that he would take care of her. She agreed, but a lot of the time she resents not being able to do everything she wanted with her life, just to become a wife and mother.

Tyler and Emily were always each other's 'backups'. Whenever they needed one another, they were there, but there was never anything truly emotional behind them. They were simply friends with benefits, and not even truly friends. When Emily found out she was pregnant, she freaked out. She knew that it was Tyler's, but she didn't know what to do about it. After talking with him, they decided that they would have the baby, but he didn't want to commit to marriage. Their parents were hysterical about the entire situation, and basically forced the two to get married. So they did. Marriage does not always fix a problem, as they found out, and while they both love their son and daughter with all their hearts, they are not neccesarily always faithful to each other. Sure they love each other, but sometimes love isn't enough.

Noah and Lilly seemed to be the perfect couple all throughout high school. The football star and the class president. No one ever thought they would be without each other. Toward the end of their senior year, they had a huge fight over their future. He wanted her to give up her scholarship to come with him to California, and she refused to give up everything for him. That night she found comfort in the arms of his best friend, Ryan. She felt so guilty about it, and never spoke a word of it. After that night, she agreed to follow Noah to California, and never gave it another thought...until a month later when she found out she was pregnant. Noah was thrilled. He had always planned on marrying Lilly, and figured this was just a jump start on their future together. To this day, Lilly has no idea if their daughter is Noah's or Ryan's.

Scott and Michelle are one of the most volotile couples you'll meet. They are either completely in love and wrapped up in each other, or fighting with each other, usually very publicly. They often rationalize that they love each other so much that it just comes out very passionately, either one way or another. After a particularly bad fight, Scott cheated on Michelle. He told her, knowing that if she was going to find out, it would be best if she heard it from him. She swore she'd never forgive him...but then she found out she was pregnant. She put aside her anger for the sake of their child. While she vowed to love him and cherish him forever, she still has deep seeded resentment toward him, and is very protective over their relationship. She finds that it is hard to trust him, and constantly wonders if he'd rather be elsewhere.

Josh and Rachel were always getting into trouble. They were the rebel couple who everyone knew, and everyone loved because of it. They didn't play by the rules, and were respected and honestly, sometimes feared for it. Rachel never thought Josh was the guy she'd end up with. Sure he was fun and they really went well together, but she honestly didn't think they'd mature enough into a lasting couple. When she found out she was pregnant, she tried to hide it from him. She didn't know what she was going to do, and all she wanted in the world was for it to go away. Josh knew something was wrong, and he pried it out of her best friend. He insisted that they go through whatever it was together. While they stayed together over the years, they didn't get married until just last year.

Dylan has loved Paige since they were kids. He was always her best friend, and she never really thought of him 'that way'. Paige was deeply in love with a boy named Trevor. In their senior year of high school, Paige found out she was pregnant. Dylan was the first person she told. Trevor was on his way to her house, where she would tell him the news when he was in a car accident. The doctors said he wouldn't live, and Paige couldn't tell him, not when he was about to die. Trevor asked to speak to Dylan, as he was in his final hours, and begged him to take care of Paige. Dylan of course agreed. Paige didn't know what she'd do about being a mother, alone, and Dylan stepped in, telling her that he loved her and he would do anything to help her. The two eloped, both having just turned 18. A month later, they announced that Paige was pregnant, letting their parents believe that they had gotten pregnant only after getting married. Over the years, Paige has grown to love Dylan, having a strong friendship that has turned into something more. Still, when Dylan looks at her, he can't help but feel as if he is second best.

Evan was the best friend of Rebecca's older brother. She never in a million years thought he'd go for her, even though she had the biggest crush on him. She spent a summer away when she was sixteen, and came back looking like, well, a woman. Evan would have been an idiot not to notice. The two flirted relentlessly, and Evan was forced to 'promise' Becca's older brother he wouldn't touch her... although that promise didn't last long. Flirting led to kissing, which led them deeper than either had intended to go. Evan still has a faint scar on his forehead from when Becca's brother found out and threw a sucker punch to his face. Her brother basically told them to stop or he'd never talk to them again, and this came after Becca had informed Evan that she was pregnant. The two married, but even that didn't mend the rift between Becca's brother and them. He still refuses to talk things over. It causes a lot of tension, especially at family dinners, and the two have talked about moving, even though it would take their daughter away from her family.

You could say that Michael and Grace were destined to be together since they were young. Their mothers and fathers were best friends, so they were always around each other. Not a month went by without them overhearing one of their parents say 'wouldn't it be great if they got married some day'. Well, that day came a lot sooner than their parents would have hoped for. Michael and Grace seemingly went through the motions at first. They hung out, being most comfortable with each other, but as time grew, they began to devellop real feelings for each other, and not just what their parents wanted. As cliche as it might be, they cemented their relationship on prom night...which is where Kyle came from. They didn't get married right away, but rather got engaged, and wanted to ease into the relationship together. They are happily married, for the most part. With their third child on the way, Grace is beginning to panic, thinking that maybe her life won't be more than being a young wife and mother. She wants to do more with her life than simply be a mother. Michael, she thinks, wouldn't understand, as he is thrilled to have the two children they have, and will be even moreso with the third.
-They have two kids, a five year old son, Kyle, and a three year old daughter, Jessica. Grace is pregnant, but hasn't told Michael yet.
