Senior Night

The people who say High School was the best four years of their life, are usually the head cheerleaders, the quaterback, the All American Boy, the Homecoming king and queen...But how many times do you hear the social outcast saying high school was the best? How many times do you hear about the criminal spending the rest of his life behind bars saying high school was the one good time in his life? Not many.

Just because the four years of high school can't be the best four years of your life..whats to say one night can't be up there on the list? For some it is a night that may just turn out to be the best night of their life, for others it is the night that could be the worse night. Either way...it is always a night to remember.

For the seniors of Jacksonville High School, the night before graduation is always a night to remember. It is called Senior Night., and it is the one night a year where every single senior will show their face to celebrate the end of the twelve most painful and lovely years of their life. Every year the senior class picks a new remote location, usually deep in the woods somewhere outside of town, a clearing usually. The clearly is always lined with dozens of kegs of beer, all the liquor a teenager could imagine. It appears to be almost the one thing they all can agree on. Senior Night is the one night when you will see the class geek partying it up with the biggest jock. It is the last night of their high school careers.

For some it is the last time they will ever see each other..for others..it is a night to take chances, take a risk..a night to do what you never thought you would do. All in all..it is going to be a night to remember. And once morning comes..everything will be different.

Rules:

Rules are awesome. Yeah they really are. Well no not really but only when they are in my roleplaly and then and only then are they awesome. Yeah so anyways..I am going to just go ahead and stop boring you with this crap. There is a boy /girl rule being enforced here. As well as a get your profiles in asap rule. Other then that just the basic keep your PBs age appropriate. I don't want to see Vin Diesel or Matt Damon as a high school senior. It just doesn't work. Anymore. And honestly I'm not sure Vin Diesel was ever a high school student. I think he was born a thrity-something year old buff man. Oh yeah and you post one line responses and I will laugh and yell. And be kind to others.

Name:Gavin Sanders
Age:Eighteen
Personality:Gavin comes off as a loner, he does not like to be around a whole lot of people. He honestly does not see the point in being in a group of people, and know only half of them really know you. He doesn't care to waste his time with meaningless friendships and just keeping people around for the hell of it. He believes that even if he just has one good friend, one friend who REALLY knows him, then he'll be happy. He does not care to waste his time with people who don't care to know him and who he does not care to know. Gavin is deep into his music which is why it is also so hard for him to talk to anyone, really. He does not want to waste his time having a conversation about Britney Spears or Christina A or the fact that Ashlee Simpson was caught lip synching. He doesn't give a damn. If he were to talk about music it would only be with someone who is not going to continue to go on and on about these lame pop stars. If he does not feel a person is as serious about music as he is..he will not waste his time on them, and will make sure they know it.
Future Plans:Gavin is not going to waste any time. He already feels he wasted twelve years of his life in damn high school, there is no way he will waste another four locked up in another prision called a school. Sure, college sounds like it could be a lot of fun IF he were at all interested in it. The idea of going to school for music has always been on his mind but then one thought continued to creep in..who the hell gives anyone a right to grade him on his talent? No way. Which is why he plans on going off to New York after graduation and moving into a cheap apartment and find a way to work his way from the bottom up, and make something of himself.

Personality:Cori has never thought too much of herself all her life. She didn't think she was anything special no matter what her parents, grandparents, and friends told her. The truth is she is something quite special. She has an incredible intelligence but she's not snobby about it. She knows a lot of things and how to solve just about every equation you could think of. She also has an uncanny elegance about her. When you see her, it's just like she's oozing intelligence and elegance and she doesn't even have to say two words to you but she is really friendly. Her grandmother says that she has the same poise and grace that her own grandmother had. Although all this is bestowed on little Cori, she makes no point to point it out to everyone she meets. Rather, Cori is quiet and reserved. She likes to observe people a lot(she has confused many boys with her insistent staring).
Future Plans:With Cori's intelligence, her mother believes she should become a doctor of some sort. She doesn't know which one but she says that they're all good. Her grandmother believes that she should become a debutante and get thrust into all the high society circles so she can find a rich husband and become a successful socialite. Her father doesn't care as long as she's happy. Corrine agrees with her father on this one and she thinks the thing that will make her the happiest is teaching second graders. So she's going to the University of Florida to major in Elementary Education.

Personality:Josh grew up in a home with three other brothers, two older and one younger and he's played on all kinds of teams his entire life so that's why he's learned the values of teamwork and cooperation which are also big parts of his personality. He is very compromising and a bit of a peacekeeper and mediator. He is also very amiable and humorous. He loves hearing and telling jokes. Josh is also very determined and clever. He also likes to have a little competition once and awhile.
Future Plans:After Jacksonville High, Josh is going to Clemson University on a full football scholarship and he will be majoring in Psychology. He wants to become a psychiatrist for troubled teens.

Age: Seventeen
Personality: When Amanda shed her pastel dresses and light brown hair for darker clothes and chestnut brunette hair dye, many people assumed Amanda was just going through another adolescent phase routed in the starvation for attention she must have had. It never occurred to anyone that maybe Amanda just wanted a change. To quote Angela Chase, “so when Rayanne Graff said my hair was holding me back, I had to listen. Because she wasn’t just talking about my hair, she was talking about my life.” Amanda may not be the biggest social butterfly or the most optimistic enthusiast, but she’s far from the troubled teenager some might be quick to write her off as. Shrewd, thoughtful, and perceptive, Amanda sees a lot more that’s going on around her than people know, and probably even more than most. The drive to find out self-identity, the desperation some have to be how others want them to be, and the strive for acceptance … Amanda finds it all to be very exhausting, and that’s just from watching it all around her. She’s far from holding herself on a pedestal above everyone else as other assumptions have dictated, but that doesn’t dismiss the fact that she is mature beyond her years even if she refuses to acknowledge it. Amanda’s candid indifference to everything is probably the quality that most people still find hard to grapple. She’s herself and expects very little of others, so long as they just be themselves with her, and allow her to do the same.
Future Plans: Amanda’s parents spent a good three-and-a-half years trying to convince her (or maybe just themselves) that she was going to Barnard college in New York, so you can imagine the mayhem that ensued when she informed them she wasn’t planning on attending college out of high school. At least not right away. Amanda’s still not sure what she wants to do, and isn’t completely put off by the idea of college, but she just spent twelve years trapped in the political hierarchy of school and quite frankly, she could use a little break. So far, she plans to spend a year down in the Key West with some friends and hopefully selling her artwork on the streets. After that it’s anyone’s best guess.

Age: Nineteen
Personality: Most people who meet Jesse write him off automatically as being a pretentious asshole, and to yield to the cliché, it’s without fault. Jesse Corbin has few redeeming qualities. He’s not a brooding poet who hides behind his cynical and oft crass tongue to mask the hopeless romantic he is deep inside. He doesn’t come from a broken home, so he gives true nods to that whole “Rebel without a cause” disposition. And he’s really not much of a listener either. You could tell Jesse he’s wrong, and simple-minded, and one-dimensional all you wanted, and you’re still not much better off yelling at a wall. Jesse’s always right and you’re not, and it’s really as simple as that. Yet there have been some people who have managed to get through to him, and they’re usually of the unintentional sort. Anyone who’s been out to save him where saving wasn’t wanted usually ended up with broken egos and red faces, as their tactics are too obvious and easy to spot from afar. Jesse’s not looking to be saved because he happens to like who he is. He knows he’s not nice. He knows his honesty is appreciated by few, but at least he knows who he is and doesn’t operate under any false pretences. Contrary to popular belief, there are a select few whom Jesse can get along with. But most of the time they’re just as big of assholes as he is.
Future Plans: Jesse’s grades may not have merited him an acceptance to Michigan State, but rumors of a phone call made by Jesse’s father have been circulating, and although Jesse won’t confirm or deny their validity, there’s probably a good amount of truth rooted in them. So it would appear that Jesse’s going to college. And it would also appear that he’s going to major in Business Economics as well, because it’s what his father wants him to major in and daddy is paying for the tuition, so it’s probably in Jesse’s best interest to comply. And while it may seem out of character for him to do as his father tells, the alternatives to not listening would be staying at home or jumping straight into the family business. And Jesse would like to delay that for as long as humanely possible.

Future Plans: Megan plans to go to Juliart. She wants to become a dancer. Not the one's that you see on MTV but a real dancer. She wants to dance Ballet. She hopes to dance on broadway one day. Megan has had this dream since she was 8 years old and it's finally coming true because she got the letter in the mail yesterday saying she got in.

Jess loves to talk and will talk to just about anyone about anything. She will also debate on any topic.
Future Plans: Jessica has wanted to be a lawyer ever since she found out that her dad was wrongfully sent to jail for murdering our neighbor. She then found out that the lawyer that was supposed to be protecting him infact set him up. Since then she wanted to stop injustices like this. She learned after interning at a law firm that she actually enjoys law. After learning she got excepted to USC she began to work harder because her dream is only beginning to come true. She knows that there are things that could still go wrong but she is going to try hard to surpass them all.

Personality: Marshall is the typical bad boy. He skips classes. He lies. He has little respect for elders. Marshall love to ask questions but wasn't fond of answering them. Marshall doesn't argue he fights. And when push comes to shove Marshall can kick some @$$. So most people know not to mess with him and those that don't pay the consequences.
Future Plans: Marshall didn't plan to go to college but with the insistance of his mother he decides to atleast apply even though with his grades he doesn't believe he could get in. But by some miracle he gets into NYU. Since he's going to be going to college he's planning on buckling down to study and major in business. He decides since he's going to college and paying all that money he might as well do it big.

Personality: Violet Hadrige has always been known around the school as the sardonic, dour, little girl, who seems to scare everyone away from her. It’s not that she doesn’t socialise, I mean who would at a school like Jacksonville High School, where there are more dim-witted cheerleaders and jocks than anyone can count. To them, Violet looks like an outsider; a loner even, but surely, does Violet care? No way. She has better things to do than think of those people stereotyping her to their own extend. Sometimes, Violet can come off to be a bit cold. Scaring people before they even have a chance to meet her. Sure, they will probably be talking about the latest episode of The O.C. or even what the current fashion is, things that Violet surely doesn’t care or think about. If they were talking about something interesting, then Violet might turn a head over and listen to them, either than that, forget about it.
Future Plans: Get married, have kids and go to an Ivy League college? No way. That is surely not what Violet wants after high school, even though her parents insist that she should. Violet plans on going to the Boston University, majoring in Art. Let’s just say, it didn’t go to well with the rents. They wanted her to go to Harvard or Yale, but Violet’s grades aren’t that too spectacular. Besides, she has a passion for Art. There just something an ordinary painting that can brighten Violet’s day, everytime.

Personality: Ana has always been one of those people that seemed intimidating if you didn't know her. She's percieved as being very confident, and self-assured, almost -but not quite- to the point of cockiness. Ana's always been popular with guys, which ultimately has led to her greatest fault - fear of getting too close to anyone. She keeps everyone at arms length away, but lets them think that they've been let in to her life totally. Ana's scared that someone will see her for the person that she relly is - the quiter, more reserved and less confident Ana - and will then reject her. It has also meant that she's had loads of meaningless flings and one night things with guys, and most of her relationships have been all about sex, because she never lets things go past that point. Instead she just bails, rather than giving it a chance. She wants to be able to settle in a loving relationship, but whenever the chance comes, she freaks out. She wants guys to take her seriously, rather than just use her and throw her out like trash. Sure, it doesn't help that she's flirtatious and seductive, dresses slightly provocatively and often manipulates people so that they think they know her, but she's still a person, who can be hurt. And who frequently is.
Future Plans: Ana wants to take a year away from school, before she starts university. She's going to university to study languages, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English, but after that... she has no idea. She just knows that she wants a job where she can travel. Ana hates being tied down, and wants freedom. She's also considering a job which enables her to move back to her native country of Puerto Rico.

Personality: Cristina's a very judgemental person. She makes snap judgements about people, and then they stick with her. Its not that she's a horrible picky person, but it's the way that she was raised to be by her parents. Cristina comes from a rich family, where she was given money instead of love, and the only values that her parents taught her were the prices of their many houses. Cristina's popular in school, and often uses that to pick on weaker people. She hates the way that she treats people, but always feels a certain pressure from her other friends to be that way - so she does it anyway. She lets herself be heavily influenced by the people around her, and often just agrees with what her friends say, rather than forming her own opinions about things. She's generally one of the quieter girls in her group, but if you personally attack her, then she can be a total bitch, and she'll use the things that she knows will get to you most to hurt you.
Future Plans: Cristina wants to study law at harvard university. Her dad's a lawyer, and both of her parents heavily pressured her to be either a lawyer or a doctor. And as she hates blood, she went with being a lawyer. It's not what Cristina really wants to be doing with the rest of her life, but as she found out many years ago - it's easier to agree with her parents than try to rebel.

Personality: Let's face it, there are always those people in high school who have been doing something virtually their whole life and have a natural born talent at this something that will take them some place. They amaze you with their ability and frighten you with their determination to be the best at their craft. Alexandra was one of those people. Her parents made her pick up a violin before she could lift up her on head. She's mature beyond her years, having spent countless Saturdays and weekday afternoons practicing pieces for her recitals and performances. But underneath all of her maturity, there's still a teenager and still someone who's always up for a good laugh and good time. And then there are those people who have that talent and somehow during the course of their high school career they trash said talent for something that they actually enjoy. For Alex, it was a brief encounter with a camera that made her trash her leotard. Alex is fickle yet passionate and temperamental. When she dedicates herself to something, like photography or dance, she throws herself into it completely and it becomes her life. For most people it's intimidating, as it should be, to watch someone become so submerged in something. But her passion defines her because Alex has always known what she wanted from life and she's always been determined to get it.
Future Plans: Alex was going to Julliard but her epiphany detoured her college plans a little bit. Rumor has it that her father in a fit of anger at his daughter's change of heart placed a call to NYU, his alma mater, to get her transferred in despite enrollment being closed. But Alexandra's grades were worthy of New York University so it really doesn't matter what people say.

Personality: There is always the guy in high school that everyone agrees he tries too hard and that if he was just himself everyone would love him. Hitch is that guy. He tries to impress guys with his Corvette, his football stats and how many girls he's bedded. He tries to get girls to date him with cheesy lines most people thought only writers scribe for movies. His lines work because they're so cheesy, most girls can't help but laugh. One of the few whose identity issues are blatantly out on the table to be seen and mocked, Hitch tries everything to be liked and loved by his peers. But Hitch in all his irritating attempts to be loved has actually succeeded because he's become the guy that everyone loves to make fun of and as far as Jacksonville High knows Hitch has no problem with being made a public display of.
Future Plans: Hitch has every intention of leaving Jacksonville High in the dust and going all the way to Michigan. Hitch managed to impress the right people to getting a football scholarship the University of Michigan. Go Wolverines!

Personality: Dylan Lawley has always been the focused and hardworking student. Most people assumed he was another potential Valedictorian, a perfectionist whom desires the highest grades and will do anything to achieve them without even learning nor taking anything from his lessons. Dylan isn't like that. He is number five in the senior class, and perfectly happy with that position. Dylan is a learner, not an achiever. Knowledge has always been something to be more valued than rank in his mind, and Dylan is proud to say that he is a lot more passionate than those in the Valedictorian race. Perhaps not as driven, but definetly more passionate. Dylan is the debate team's all-star and secret weapon, his keen perception and honesty is almost shocking, especially in the dirty world of politics. The same behavior is shown even in real life situations. Dylan is a blatantly honest boy, almost to the point where some may take him for naive, though he is far too intelligent for that. Dylan is a peaceful person with the ability to look at everything from two sides, possibly more, and never tries to start trouble but is prepared to use wit and knowledge to defend himself if need be.
Future Plans: Everybody who knows Dylan Lawley has high expectations, without even really bothering to get to know the geek behind the glasses, they've all determined his fate after a single glance in his direction. Harvard. Yale. Princeton. Dartmouth. It doesn't matter which, the fact is that Dylan is headed along the Ivy League path which his father and his father's father before him have taken. Nearly everybody in Dylan Lawley's family, both from his father and mother's side have gone to Princeton. It's practically a family tradition which nobody has broken, to do so would result in being disowned and shipped away to Latvia, where nobody would ever hear about you again and your name would be erased from the family tree which is so proudly displayed in the front hall of the Lawley home. However, Dylan has already packed his suitcase filled with flannel, preparing for the harsh Latvian winters. Don't get too excited, Dylan is hardly the risk taker, he isn't going to go to NYU or anything like that - god forbid, the boy still wants a successful future. Dylan has been given a partial scholarship to Yale. He likes Yale, he wants to go to Yale, and if doing so makes him the family rebel and recluse, so be it.

Personality: Mischa was a person who was considered popular until she became on the negative side of popularity which 'turned her bad.' She got in with a rebellish boyfriend who turned on her to drugs. He lost his life from it but she doesn't care. She's addicted. She used to be nice but now..she's just sullen.

Personality:Cori has never thought too much of herself all her life. She didn't think she was anything special no matter what her parents, grandparents, and friends told her. The truth is she is something quite special. She has an incredible intelligence but she's not snobby about it. She knows a lot of things and how to solve just about every equation you could think of. Her father doesn't care as long as she's happy. Corrine agrees with her father on this one and she thinks the thing that will make her the happiest is teaching second graders. Personality: When Amanda shed her pastel dresses and light brown hair for darker clothes and chestnut brunette hair dye, many people assumed Amanda was just going through another adolescent phase routed in the starvation for attention she must have had. It never occurred to anyone that maybe Amanda just wanted a change. To quote Angela Chase, “so when Rayanne Graff said my hair was holding me back, I had to listen. Because she wasn’t just talking about my hair, she was talking about my life.” Amanda may not be the biggest social butterfly or the most optimistic enthusiast, but she’s far from the troubled teenager some might be quick to write her off as. Shrewd, thoughtful, and perceptive, Amanda sees a lot more that’s going on around her than people know, and probably even more than most. The drive to find out self-identity, the desperation some have to be how others want them to be, and the strive for acceptance … Amanda finds it all to be very exhausting, and that’s just from watching it all around her. She’s far from holding herself on a pedestal above everyone else as other assumptions have dictated, but that doesn’t dismiss the fact that she is mature beyond her years even if she refuses to acknowledge it. Amanda’s candid indifference to everything is probably the quality that most people still find hard to grapple. She’s herself and expects very little of others, so long as they just be themselves with her, and allow her to do the same.
Future Plans: Amanda’s parents spent a good three-and-a-half years trying to convince her (or maybe just themselves) that she was going to Barnard college in New York, so you can imagine the mayhem that ensued when she informed them she wasn’t planning on attending college out of high school. At least not right away. Amanda’s still not sure what she wants to do, and isn’t completely put off by the idea of college, but she just spent twelve years trapped in the political hierarchy of school and quite frankly, she could use a little break. So far, she plans to spend a year down in the Key West with some friends and hopefully selling her artwork on the streets. After that it’s anyone’s best guess.

Personality: Most people who meet Jesse write him off automatically as being a pretentious asshole, and to yield to the cliché, it’s without fault. Jesse Corbin has few redeeming qualities. He’s not a brooding poet who hides behind his cynical and oft crass tongue to mask the hopeless romantic he is deep inside. He doesn’t come from a broken home, so he gives true nods to that whole “Rebel without a cause” disposition. And he’s really not much of a listener either. You could tell Jesse he’s wrong, and simple-minded, and one-dimensional all you wanted, and you’re still not much better off yelling at a wall. Jesse’s always right and you’re not, and it’s really as simple as that. Yet there have been some people who have managed to get through to him, and they’re usually of the unintentional sort. Anyone who’s been out to save him where saving wasn’t wanted usually ended up with broken egos and red faces, as their tactics are too obvious and easy to spot from afar. Jesse’s not looking to be saved because he happens to like who he is. He knows he’s not nice. He knows his honesty is appreciated by few, but at least he knows who he is and doesn’t operate under any false pretences. Contrary to popular belief, there are a select few whom Jesse can get along with. But most of the time they’re just as big of assholes as he is.
Future Plans: Jesse’s grades may not have merited him an acceptance to Michigan State, but rumors of a phone call made by Jesse’s father have been circulating, and although Jesse won’t confirm or deny their validity, there’s probably a good amount of truth rooted in them. So it would appear that Jesse’s going to college. And it would also appear that he’s going to major in Business Economics as well, because it’s what his father wants him to major in and daddy is paying for the tuition, so it’s probably in Jesse’s best interest to comply. And while it may seem out of character for him to do as his father tells, the alternatives to not listening would be staying at home or jumping straight into the family business. And Jesse would like to delay that for as long as humanely possible.

Personality: Violet Hadrige has always been known around the school as the sardonic, dour, little girl, who seems to scare everyone away from her. It’s not that she doesn’t socialise, I mean who would at a school like Jacksonville High School, where there are more dim-witted cheerleaders and jocks than anyone can count. To them, Violet looks like an outsider; a loner even, but surely, does Violet care? No way. She has better things to do than think of those people stereotyping her to their own extend. Sometimes, Violet can come off to be a bit cold. Scaring people before they even have a chance to meet her. Sure, they will probably be talking about the latest episode of The O.C. or even what the current fashion is, things that Violet surely doesn’t care or think about. If they were talking about something interesting, then Violet might turn a head over and listen to them, either than that, forget about it.
Future Plans: Get married, have kids and go to an Ivy League college? No way. That is surely not what Violet wants after high school, even though her parents insist that she should. Violet plans on going to the Boston University, majoring in Art. Let’s just say, it didn’t go to well with the rents. They wanted her to go to Harvard or Yale, but Violet’s grades aren’t that too spectacular. Besides, she has a passion for Art. There just something an ordinary painting that can brighten Violet’s day, everytime.

Personality: Ana has always been one of those people that seemed intimidating if you didn't know her. She's percieved as being very confident, and self-assured, almost -but not quite- to the point of cockiness. Ana's always been popular with guys, which ultimately has led to her greatest fault - fear of getting too close to anyone. She keeps everyone at arms length away, but lets them think that they've been let in to her life totally. Ana's scared that someone will see her for the person that she relly is - the quiter, more reserved and less confident Ana - and will then reject her. It has also meant that she's had loads of meaningless flings and one night things with guys, and most of her relationships have been all about sex, because she never lets things go past that point. Instead she just bails, rather than giving it a chance. She wants to be able to settle in a loving relationship, but whenever the chance comes, she freaks out. She wants guys to take her seriously, rather than just use her and throw her out like trash. Sure, it doesn't help that she's flirtatious and seductive, dresses slightly provocatively and often manipulates people so that they think they know her, but she's still a person, who can be hurt. And who frequently is.
Future Plans: Ana wants to take a year away from school, before she starts university. She's going to university to study languages, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English, but after that... she has no idea. She just knows that she wants a job where she can travel. Ana hates being tied down, and wants freedom. She's also considering a job which enables her to move back to her native country of Puerto Rico.

Personality: Cristina's a very judgemental person. She makes snap judgements about people, and then they stick with her. Its not that she's a horrible picky person, but it's the way that she was raised to be by her parents. Cristina comes from a rich family, where she was given money instead of love, and the only values that her parents taught her were the prices of their many houses. Cristina's popular in school, and often uses that to pick on weaker people. She hates the way that she treats people, but always feels a certain pressure from her other friends to be that way - so she does it anyway. She lets herself be heavily influenced by the people around her, and often just agrees with what her friends say, rather than forming her own opinions about things. She's generally one of the quieter girls in her group, but if you personally attack her, then she can be a total bitch, and she'll use the things that she knows will get to you most to hurt you.
Future Plans: Cristina wants to study law at harvard university. Her dad's a lawyer, and both of her parents heavily pressured her to be either a lawyer or a doctor. And as she hates blood, she went with being a lawyer. It's not what Cristina really wants to be doing with the rest of her life, but as she found out many years ago - it's easier to agree with her parents than try to rebel.
