| Quarantine - PYOC - Invite only QUARANTINE Two years ago, there was an outbreak, a virus released into a mall. Though they were able to contain it, there were still the hundreds of people inside. They were getting sick. They were gathered up and moved to a facility, quarantined for an undetermined amount of time. Their families were told, but beyond that they had no contact with them. Granted for a while they were all too sick that it wouldn’t have mattered if they were provided contact. Two years practically to the day, there came the day they had all waited for: quarantine was ending, they would be going home. Families, loved ones were once again told, given date, time, and location to reunite with those quarantined. Today’s the day, and many are nervous. Two years have brought many changes. Feelings, perspective on life... One group is the focus, one of the most populated centers concentrated with quarantined and their families. RULES * Boy/Girl, take 2, 4, 6... * Everything you need to know should be there. If you’re not sure about anything though, don’t hesitate to ask. * The LI pairings are all there, but that doesn’t mean to lock in on your characters’ LI and stay there. Some are in fact time sensitive for that reason. Your characters have families, friends, use them!  * If you have to be away for a while or anything else would result in your being unable to post, just let me know! * Have fun! INVITED PLAYERS (As usual, not inviting all at once, some I’m keeping as backup...) - ~*~Hopeless Romantic~*~ (CAN'T) - DreamOn777 - cliffy spuffy dreamer - *Sarahrooie* (JOINED) - Impressions (JOINED) - Old Wolf (CAN'T) - JoeDude (CAN'T) - California here I come - Jezebel In Hell - Broadways Buffy (JOINED) - Shempy (JOINED) - SummerNights - Endless Rain (CAN'T) - The Survivor COUPLES CLIFF STEVELIN & GRACE OFFER STATUS: Existing connection, hook-up pending (waiting on the break off of the Stevelin marriage). They flirted with the thought (and each other) during quarantine, but wouldn’t move on it. When Annette comes home, and she and Cliff split, they can make a move at last. (Spending time together as they do, Naomi and Rae Jaye have bonded.) DANNY O’HARE & NAOMI STEVELIN STATUS: Not yet met. Danny was good friends with Annette in quarantine. Upon everyone’s return home, she introduces him to the other half of her family and he meets Naomi. Sparks happen quickly and courtship commences. MARTIN RAMSAY & NINA SHARP STATUS: Existing relationship prior to his being quarantined. They were dating before quarantine. She waited for him, especially since she was pregnant by him. He didn’t know. She’ll be presenting him with their son, William. Also, after what he went through, he wants to propose to her. NATE HUNT & LACEY SHARP STATUS: Existing feelings, hook-up pending (waiting on the break off of the Nate/Julianne relationship). Nate was dating Julianne before quarantine, but secretly was in love with Lacey, who liked him too but wouldn’t move on her sister’s boyfriend. Upon his return, filled with a need for honesty, he breaks it off with Julianne to be with Lacey. STONE TYLER & JULIANNE SHARP STATUS: Feelings yet to develop truly, hook-up pending (waiting on the break off of the Nate/Julianne relationship). They work together, are sort-of friends for the most part. After Nate breaks up with her, Stone ends up being the one there for her, and things expand from there. (Stone’s daughter Emmy was at the mall at the movies with (now dead) babysitter) GEORGE MENDES & ABIGAIL HORN STATUS: Not met yet. Upon his return from quarantine, he quickly discovers his wife (non play) has filed for divorce, moved on. He meets Abigail a time later, at a gathering for quarantiners and their families. They quickly bond. RUSSELL HANNIGAN & EVAN RAMSAY STATUS: Not met yet. Evan was dating Naomi before the quarantine. Within that period though, he finally came out. They’re still great friends. At the initial reunion, upon finding big brother Martin, he is introduced to quarantine friend Russell, and so it starts. BRENDAN SHARP & KELLY O’HARE STATUS: Dating, full open pending (waiting on the Brendan/Katie break-up). They’ve been friends for years. When quarantine happened and she lost both her brothers to it, he was there to support her. He was with Katie, who was also in quarantine, but he fell for Kelly despite himself. She fell for him too. After an hesitation, they got together. Now he needs to own up and break with Katie. OLIVIA MYLES & RAIN WEST STATUS: Not met yet. (waiting on the Ethan/Rain break-up). Before quarantine, Rain was going to tell boyfriend Ethan she was a lesbian, but she didn’t get the chance to. She’ll break it off with him now. Olivia and husband Stone had trouble coping with daughter Emmy being in quarantine (was at the mall at the movies with (now dead) babysitter), and ended up divorcing. Afterward, she started dating women. Olivia and Rain will meet post quarantine (up to players how). MATT JOHANSON & LAURIE JOHANSON STATUS: Married. They were high school sweethearts. When Laurie became pregnant with Nadia, they were nineteen. They married when their daughter was three, going strong ever since. When quarantine happened, they were devastated being apart, so it’s easy to know how they feel being back together. ROBERT CRUZ & SCARLETT LIN STATUS: Married (were newlyweds at quarantine start). They met four years before quarantine. The romance didn’t happen until two years later, bit of a bickering rapport. They were newlyweds of a few months when Scarlett ended up in quarantine. They’ve been waiting for each other. CARA WEATHERS & NADIA JOHANSON STATUS: On the brink of a hook-up. They met in quarantine. First they were friends, neither sure of where they were romantic-wise. Friendship turned to playful flirting, then heavier flirting. Still, neither would make a move, afraid of what the quarantine might bring – or take away. Now out of quarantine though, they’re considering their options. DAVID SHARP & ANNETTE STEVELIN STATUS: Together, official hook-up pending (waiting on end of Stevelin marriage). They met in quarantine. He was a widower who’d lost his wife nearly two decades before but had yet to move on. She was growing steadily unhappier in her marriage, but stayed. They bonded over time and, surprising even them, they fell in love. Now returning home, she has to leave her husband, and both have to talk to their kids. ETHAN LANDON & KATIE HUNT STATUS: Not met yet. Meeting pending (waiting on the Ethan/Rain AND Brendan/Katie break-ups). Both Ethan and Katie, him with Rain and her with Brendan, faced quarantine with the trust that someday it would end and they would be reunited with the one they loved. In both cases, they were reunited just moments before promptly being broken up with. They come together in a chance meeting as both are in post-break up sadness. They bond and... BRIAN WEATHERS & VANESSA CRESS STATUS: Broken up, working toward a reunion eventually. They met in college, were together a few years. Then they broke up, shortly before quarantine happened. For the next little while, they attempted to go on with their lives, hurt but still in love deep down. Reunited with his sister post quarantine, seeing her happy and in love, he gathers his courage and goes to Vanessa, asks for a second chance. She agrees to give it a shot. HUNTER SHARP & RYAN O’HARE STATUS: Not met yet. Hunter came out by the time he was fifteen. Ryan on the other hand lived with his being gay in secret. They meet after quarantine, through Hunter’s brother Brendan and Ryan’s sister Kelly. They’re friends at first, but within a short time it changes. SEBASTIAN HORN STATUS: Soon to discover he’s a widower. While he was in quarantine, his wife Melissa, the love of his whole life, was killed in a car crash, a fact he only finds out about upon his reunion with daughter Abigail after quarantine. He won’t be looking for love.
