I'm in the middle of a very slow reread of ASOIAF. I added two books to my wishlist on Amazon though.

Blood and Beauty: The Borgias by Sarah Dunant and Book 1 of the Accursed Kings series by Maurice Druon. I also have book 1 of the Wolf Hall series, North and South, Les Miserables, The Passage, Don Quixote, the Decameron and The Lord of the Rings series on my wishlist.

I haven't read for pleasure in ages. Every time I try the book bores me and I give up. Nothing has filled the void since ASoIaF.

Maybe check out the Accursed Kings series? It's apparently one of the book series that inspired ASOIAF.

All I really want is something that is a relatively easy, fun read (not heavy on the prose) without a badly written romantic angle. Preferrably fantasy or sci-fi.

Also read Stardust. Preferred the movie.
Tried reading some of his other stuff and couldn't get into it. Maybe it's his writing style. __________________

Tried and failed lol. I find it hard to nap unless I'm 100% exhausted. Sadly.

I'm sorry. I'd give you my stellar ability to sleep whenever, if I could.
