[The History]

It's a basic story. Alex Hitchens, known as 'Hitch' to his friends and clients, is a professional match maker. If there is a guy who just can't seem to land the girl that he's been pining over, Hitch is there to help him snag her for good. His success rate is high and things are going well for him. The clients pay a pretty penny for Hitch's services, but they're always worth it in the end. Hitch makes sure of it. He'll use whatever connections and resources he may have up his sleeve in order to provide for his client's happiness.

[The Plot]

Currently, Hitch has three clients he's helping simultaneously. Their names are Daniel Lace, Jason Wilson, and Andy Preston. Each have a situation that varies from the other two, and each are in dire need of help. They each have their sights sets on their respective dream girls. But are the girls too "out of their league"? Is it a waste of Hitch's time? Or will it really pay off in the end? Not only does Hitch have to worry about providing a 'happily ever after' for his clients, but he also has to worry about a female journalist: one Estlin McGovern. She's caught wind of the 'Match Maker,' and is determined to expose him for the fraud he truly is. Will other emotions take a toll on her decision? Or will her job prevail above all else?

* Post at least every two or three days. If you're going to be away for an extended period of time, I understand. That's fine. But just let me know either through the thread or via PM.
* If you're gone for a period of time longer than a week, I'll PM you. If you don't come back, I'll re-cast your character.
* No one-liners. I understand two or three every now and then. But not all the time.
* The profiles are super, super easy. So please, get them in ASAP.

[The Characters]

[The Match Maker]
Alex *Hitch* Hitchens
Personality: Suave, Charming, Eloquent, Persistant, Collected.
Age: Thirty-Two.
Relationships: Hitch is never the one who falls in love. He's the one who helps other find the girl of their dreams. But his weariness about relationships for himself aren't unfounded. When he was in college, he wasn't exactly the "coolest" of all the guys there, but he was helpful and sweet, as always. That's when he met her. She needed help finding the Admissions Offices, and Hitch was there to help her. And then, one dark and rainy night, he found her with another guy in the back of his car. She said it was over, and Hitch just never really healed from it. So, he devoted himself to helping others obtain what he couldn't, and that's how it's been since that night. But, then .. there's Estlin McGovern. Something about her makes Hitch want to forget what happened in his past and open himself up again. But his heart is screaming at him, telling him not to.

Daniel *Dan, Danny* Lace
Personality: Clumsy, goofy, hesitant, nervy, honest
Age: Thirty-Four.
Relationships: Adriena Waters is like a goddess to Dan, he is absolutely head over heals for her but is terrified of her. Not in a bad way but because he gets very nervous around her, he babbles, he's clumsy, he stutters, he says stupid pointless things...in other words, he feels that she would never notice him. He thinks she sees him as just some clumsy idiot who stutters a lot. He's always wondered though, if he would be able to woo her, he's tried to practice some lines, and some moves but he just cant confront her. He's at the point where he just admires her from afar, sure that he could never get closer.

Jason *Jay* Wilson
Personality: Quiet,Observant,Introverted,Intelligent,Shy
Age: Twenty-Six.
Relationships: Jason Wilson is a very quiet shy guy. He keeps to himself and that's the main reason he doesn't think he could ever win the affection of someone like Gwyneth Purchase. He might actually stand a chance if he could get up the nerve to talk to her. Yes..that's right...Jason has never had a conversation with Gwyneth that wasn't just polite casual chatter. He's so shy that he can't even really talk to her. That doesn't mean he just fell for her beauty though. He listens to her alot when she's talking to people. She's smart and sweet and wonderful. If only he could get over his shy nature and actually ask her out.

Andrew *Andy* Preston
Personality: Brooding, Curt, Unorganized, Chaotic, Disheveled
Age: Thirty-Six.
Relationships: Andy in a way was always the shy one and so never really tried to pursue any girls. It's not that he's actually shy, it's just that he's never known how to put together a decent thought aloud... he could write beautifully but... vocalizing would be his hardest thing especially with his stutter. He of course was a hopeless romantic and there was no way around it, over, under, left or right, but he tried his best to deny his feelings, deny the natural optimism that came to him about love when he thought about Allie because after all she was out of his league... at the same time she was so hard to resist... Andy wasn't at all sure whether or not she liked him and possibly never would because he would refuse to confront such matters. Seldom is it that Andy has friends and seldom is it that he makes sense. His mind is as littered as everything else which is probably what turns people away. He's a mess. It's organized chaos is what it is, but no one can see the pattern to it.

Estlin McGovern
Personality: nosey, gossipy, sweet, innocent, and a tad bit manipulative
Age: Twenty-Eight.
Relationships: Estlin has always been known as the nosey one. She's been spreading gossip since grade school. If someone knew anything it would be her, and she was well hated and at the same well loved for it. People hated the fact that she knew everything...but at the same time were drawn to her to tell her things and to find out information. Estlin always had troubles with relationships. She always caught her boyfriends cheating. She no longer really trusts men. Right now she's doing a story on Alex...no one knows it yet. She's kind of keeping it undercover. She's doing a story over matchmaking. She isn't planning on falling in love...but she can't help but feel there is something special about Alex.

Adria *Ria* Waters
Personality: Lively. Diligent. Courtly. Benevolent. Perplexing.
Age: Thirty.
Relationships: While most people relate heiress with the likes of Paris Hilton and her million cell phones and expensive cars, they do not realise that most Heiress are actually humble. Well at least Adria is, she is the type of woman to keep her family tree hidden from a relationship and the public as much as possible so she can try to figure out if they like her for who she is, or because of what she has. Most of the time if they were to just goggle her name they would realise she was worth a fortune and all of a sudden the guy at the bar that hadn’t called her for two weeks is calling.
Adria simple wants happiness, but it is hard to find when people are putting on a façade because you are rich. She hasn’t been in a lot of relationships. She knows Daniel likes her, he makes it obvious and she thinks it is actually quite charming that he trips up on his words when he is around her but as of now she has her doubts. She doesn’t know if he likes her for being herself or because of her money, yet again the same predicament over and over.
Adria fears that if Daniel actually liked her because of who she is and not what she has that she would ruin the relationship because she has never had someone that has charmed her because they genuinely liked her. The whole experience would be new and excited but at the same time the thought just scares her. She feels like she is back in high school and everything about Daniel she overanalysing in hope for an answer. She is being cautious, but put simply, she has a crush on him as though she was half her age again.

Age: Twenty-Four
Relationships: Gwyneth has always been the girl that got surrounded by guys. She has always had a boyfriend and always got along the best with guys. Gwyneth didn't know why, it was just how it was with her. She didn't mind. Gwyneth only had eyes for one guy and one guy in particular and that was Jason Wilson. She could have sworn that he liked her too, everyone said that and she tried to talk to him on occasion but it never went anywhere and she felt confused. No guy has ever been off limits to her and deep down she thinks Jason is different. She wants to get to him more. Deep down, Gwyneth likes him. Likes him a lot in fact and she hopes one day that maybe he'll like her back as well in the future.
