| Olympus Prep | My Big Fat Greek Boarding School *MYOC* Somewhere in the middle of the ocean is a gorgeous private island. It’s home to two things that are known worldwide and attract only the wealthiest of the aristocrats. First, there is Eden. It’s not the garden Adam and Eve made famous, but rather a high class night club. Only the rich, the famous, and the children of both are let past the velvet rope. There is, of course, an age limit of eighteen, but hand the bouncer a few hundred dollar bills and chances are that he’ll ignore your youth. Second, there is the most famous and elite boarding school around. It’s called Olympus Preparatory School and it has a secret. All of the wealthy brats attending school at Olympus Prep have been gods or goddesses in their past lives. They’ve kept their infamous personalities (Zeus is still a man-whore and Eris is still a destructive little b****) but they’ve lost their memories. None of them remember their lives on Mount Olympus and, maybe, that’s for the better. Now they’ll have to deal with each other as mortals. That should be fun. A more specific setting… It is summer vacation, but most of the students’ parents have chosen to keep their children on the island. Olympus Prep will gladly provide room and board for the students and, after hours, they are free to roam about the island as they wish. Once profiles are in we can pick roommates. Hooray! Rules Proper spelling and grammar would be greatly appreciated. Each post must be at least three lines in length. The Boy/Girl rule is not enforced, but I would love for your characters’ genders to vary. You may take up to five characters. | First 13 profiles God They Were: Hera Name: Andrea Ramsey Age: Eighteen Personality: The side which most people are aquainted with is the feminine and popular Andrea; the Homecoming queen and student body president. Andrea has an attraction towards power and either finds herself in such absolute positions or desiring them, and she's the type who will do whatever it takes to ascertain her goals, no matter whom she has to destroy in the process. Just as passionate as she is about gaining something, she is as scared of losing it, prompting a rather easily envious and jealous personality which alienates her from her peers at time. When Andrea is jealous she simply loses it and she's not the sort of queen bee you want to mess with. Relationships: TBA PB: Erika Christensen  God They Were: Ares Name: Cole Fitzgerald Age: 17 Personality: Cole doesn't have that much interest in others' feelings. If he hurts someone, he'd be more likely to laugh than help. He's extremely competitive, never says no to a challenge. He preys on the weak because he can't stand weakness, most of all his own. Whatever kindness he may show will be reserved for friends and not many others. But she is much wiser than she shows, and is fierce when it comes to her beliefs. She'll stand for what she knows to be right and will do anything and everything in her power to achieve it. Being a friend of Vada’s is more spectacular than anyone would think. Because Vada will do anything for her friends. No matter what the cost. All he cares about is what’s best for himself. He’s cruel, calculating, and likes to make people’s lives a living hell just for a good laugh. His only weakness, although he hates having it, is women. He won’t act like a jerk around them or towards them. It’s just not right. Relationships: TBA PB: Casey Affleck  God They Were: Aphrodite Name: Alana Fulton Age: 19 Personality: Alana loves loves loves attention and would do anything she could to be in the spotlight. She very much loves to love and flaunt everything she's got. She is full of life and would never be able to bore anyone to death no matter how much she tries. She is a bit naive and quite childish, but she can be professional whenever she must. Whenever she feels lazy and does not want to do anything at all, she uses her beauty and charm to make someone do it for her, and not many people were able to escape her wishes. He's usually the one in the corner planning to play a trick on someone for the reason that they had done something to wrong another person. He isn't really a bad guy, but people see him kind of darker than others. He seeks revenge for anyone, and is the guy that would play tricks on whoever someone wants him to. Relationships: To Be Announced PB: James Franco  God They Were: Persephone Name: Paige Rhodes Age: 17 Personality: Phoebe is as innocent as can be. No one dares to put blame on her because she really doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is known for her kindness and a kind of nurturing side to things. No one has really seen her anger, and some say that they do not want to because once you see her bad side, there really is no going back. He is a bit immature in the ways that she acts, but how could she not, she loves her youth and wants to hold onto it forever. Relationships: To Be Announced. PB: Kristin Kruek  God They Were: Poseidon Name: Dante Somers Age: 19 Personality: Dante is the guy that wants and needs things. He is very materialistic, and could not stand life if he was at all poor or homeless. Luckily he isn't and he gets everything he wants. He is very defensive and he thinks that everything he knows is correct, and sometimes he is, but not always. But he will debate on until you finally agree, or it might just go on forever, he will not forfeit. But other times he is a fun loving person, and strangely enough a total romantic. Relationships: To Be Announced PB: Chad Michael Murry  God They Were: Eros Name: Vaughn Eckhart Age: Nineteen Personality: Vaughn, despite being well-known by the student body for his promiscuous ways, holds a mystery personality and his inner pysche is an enigma to the adoring girls who yearn to learn it. What is known is that he's a notorious playboy, though despite this knowledge women still swoon at his feet, seduced by his manipulative ways, suave speak, charisma and charm. Vaughn is intensely romantic however never, dare we say, 'sappy'. He prefers "making love" to "having sex"; however nobody ever said that he was limited to one woman at a time. | Next Couple of Profiles TB: FAIT_Accompli God They Were: Dionysus Name: Andrew Duchamp Age: Eighteen Personality: Andrew is a man of many extremes and few shades. There are no grays, there are only absolutes. Intense by nature, temperamental by habit, and volatile at his worse, Andrew’s passionate in every definition of the word, and often loses himself in both ecstasy and anger. He lives without restriction, embracing both the good and the bad in life whole heartedly. The Hyde to Andrew’s Jekyll comes out whenever the bottle comes out, and he’s at his most fanatical moments when indulging in his alcoholic vice. Relationships: PB: Tyler Hilton  TB: FAIT_Accompli Muse They Were: Melpomene: Muse of Tragedy Name: Skylar Cassat Age: Seventeen Personality: With the risk of violating a copywrite, Skylar is “only happy when it rains.” Skylar’s heart sings loudest when its strings are being tugged. Reflective and nostalgic for pasts that aren’t necessarily hers, Skylar is of an almost ethereal nature. She doesn’t walk around with fake plastered smiles on her face and she doesn’t sweep her grief underneath the proverbial rug. She embraces her sadness and melancholy; it’s manifestations often visible in the hordes of poetry written on everything from stationary to old gum wrappers. Relationships: PB: Emilie Autumn  TB: Dimaranwen God They Were: Apollo Name: Christian Blackwell Age: Nineteen Personality: Perfection, like, comes close to describing Christian Blackwell, at least according to the cheerleading squad of Olympus Prep. He's gorgeous; he's a musician and an athlete. So where's the flaw? Christian, ever the rationalist, has not the smallest, romantic whim in his body. Meaning, he has horrible luck with the opposite sex. Conversation? No problem. But romantic entanglements? Christian avoids them at all costs. He prefers to watch them unfold, finding reasons within the failures as excuses to remain uninvolved. So he's perceptive, but...lonely. Relationships: TBA PB: Tom Welling  TB: Dimaranwen God They Were: Prometheus Name: Jesse Sharpe Age: Eighteen Personality: Rebels. Every school has at least one, each with their own little cult following if they happen to wear both black and makeup extremely well. Jesse defies conformity in every way imaginable. He frequents broom closests rather than classrooms, detentions rather than school dances. Deviant yet kind at heart, for anyone who bothers to look past the eyeliner and surgically attached earphones, Jesse has formulated that clever front so often encountered by those wishing to get to know a closed-off, frustrated loner. Relationships: TBA PB: Hayden Christensen  TB: Untouchable God They Were: Artemis Name: Claire Blackwell Age: 19 Personality: Picture the poster child for the word 'prude', and you've got Claire. Bitter, reclusive, and temperamental, most boys don't even dare to approach her. And if one happened to grow a pair and attempt to make conversation with her, she'd promptly rip them off, step on them, burn them, and throw them in a blender. With females, she's a bit less irritable, but not by much. Most of the human race she considers below her, not because her ego is the size of Texas, but because of many undesirable qualities many people seem to possess these days. At least in her point of view. Relationships: TBA PB: Unknown [some model chick]  TB: Untouchable God They Were: Zeus Name: Connor Kingsley Age: 18 Personality: Connor's personality is rather typical for the most popular boy in school, with few exceptions. He's actually the sort of person many bitter and introverted females would detest—suave, debonair, flirtatious and laid-back, he's like the physical embodiment of charisma. But while most boys in the popular crowd veer off at that point to become cruel, selfish and biased, Connor remains adamant in a set policy of justice. He feels obligated to treat his classmates fairly, though he occasionally takes his own interests into account before those of others. Especially when it comes to relationships. Relationships: TBA PB: Unknown [some model guy]  TB: Untouchable God They Were: Thanatos [god of death] Name: Raleigh James Age: 17 Personality: Raleigh isn't much of a people person; this can easily be demonstrated by his firm belief that dead people are better to hang out with than the living. Not that he WOULD chill with a corpse, of course, though the human skeleton in his closet he stole from the anatomy wing would suggest otherwise—he's just a quiet, standoffish person who prefers being alone and by himself. Nobody has really made an attempt to get to know him, which is somewhat understandable given that he wears a human vertebrae on a chain around his neck and can often be seen carrying what appears to be a human skull. That tends to intimidate some people. Relationships: TBA PB: Billy Martin  TB: Untouchable God They Were: Thalia [muse of comedy] Name: Daphne Blake Age: 17 Personality: Everything imaginable is humorous to Daphne. Heck, if you walked up to her and said the word 'pudding,' she'd burst out laughing and probably continue to be amused the rest of the day, until she forgot what was so funny. And if you reminded her the next day, she'd laugh some more and this process would repeat itself for all of eternity. She's a very optimistic person who easily finds the humor in life, and tends to spread her cheer like some infectious disease. She isn't popular, per say, because some tend to find her frequent giggling obnoxious, but many people treat her amicably. She's rather hard to hate. She has time for little else, even during the off-season. She's friendly enough, but her determination and busy schedule often conflict with any potential social events she might go to. She is a very future-oriented person, rarely enjoying the now, always looking forward. Relationships: TBA PB: Scarlett Johansson TB: Dimaranwen God They Were: Atropos Name: Deanna Saunders Age: Nineteen Personality: DEATH. Deanna is probably one of the most hated and feared psycho to ever grace the halls of Olympus Prep. The things she likes and dislikes are equally disturbing, and few people actually risk their sanity or fingers in order to find out. One more year of Deanna is more than enough to handle, but she plans on making her last year very eventful. Relationships: TBA PB: Free Dominguez TB: Jezebel In Hell God They Were: Hades Name: Parker Danvers Age: 19 Personality: Parker has always been an introverted, intellectual, morbid sort of kid. In grade school he was teased about his obsession with the afterlife, but now that he’s in high school that sort of thing doesn’t happen as often. Parker longs for companionship in the sense of friendship and romance, but that’s pretty hopeless. Relationships: To Be Announced after all of the profiles get in.
