| Muses in High School *MYOC* Yeah, the title sucks. I could use a muse of my own... You're writing an essay. Your grade depends on you doing a good job and if you get anything below a B - you know you're in for it. Even though you're focused on the task at hand nothing seems to be coming to your mind. So, who do you call on for inspiration? The muses of course! Nine new female students have enrolled at Girard High School. They're just like most humans except that, in secret, they're anything but human. These nine students are the nine Greek muses and they're thirsty for a challenge. Make each post at least three lines in length. Play nice.  Muses Muse name: Polyhymnia Human Name: Jaseree Lakeson Grade: 10th Personality: Jaseree was born to Philip and Kayci Lakeson. She had a twin sister, Joie. Jaseree and her sister, Joie got along wonderful. The twin girls both got along with their parents. They lived a happy wonderful life together and nothing seemed to be wrong until one day when Joie got her license. She went to a party and Joie didn't drink. The parents raised the girls not to drink so Joie was the driver and on the way home they never saw that truck coming into their lane until it was to late. The car went off the road and Joie died. She was the only one that died out of a car of five. The parents were torn and got a divorce and Jaseree came here with her father. She never got over the death of her sister. Jaseree was once a fun loving bright girl but with the death of her sister, she became closed off. She sort of is on the lind of not believing in god. She finds it hard to believe a god would do such things. She's closed off and she's spunky. She speaks her mind. She's creative and artistic. She doesn't like being treated like a child and she certainly is questioning alot of things because of the death of her sister. Nothing fascinates her more than those little burning bodies in space that twinkle and shine so beautifully in the night sky. She's inspired plenty of astronomers over the span of her lifetime and that includes Nicolaus Copernicus and Galileo Galilei. High school, of course, probably won't be filled with wannabe astronomers but she's certain that she'll find someone to inspire. She is very immature and loves to have a good time and she shows it constantly. She is the type of girl who does not care what anyone thinks and does weird things at weird times. She is incredibly random and will blurt out random words at odd times. But she also likes to take her daily nap. Without it she is nothing but a big lump around the place. She is very comical and enjoys a good laugh. She likes to make people laugh and she tells jokes constantly. She’s basically born on the stage, she can act and sing, but her specialty is dancing, you notice her when she does. Outside of dancing, she’s a nice person, always doing her best in classes, but at times she can slack off, why, dancing, sometimes she just gets a little to obsessed with making it perfect that she forgets to do her homework or study. She is quick to take action. She happens to be a very loyal person. She'll have your back no matter what but the girl has some trust issues. As in, if you screw her over you lost your chance. She isn't the type to hold grudges, she'll just keep a distance from you until you prove yourself to her. She's a very fun loving. She loves to have a good time and help people through whatever issues they have. She's no doormat. If she see's a unjustice taking place you can bet your life she'll speak up on it. She's very spunky. She loves to tell jokes and she has a sarcastic sense of humor. She's a tom boy and she won't change herself for no one. Lila has always lived the sheltered life. She has always gotton anything she's ever asked for. She isn't spoiled. Her home life is that great. Not as great as you think it is for many different reasons, 1. the man in the house isn't really her own father, he abandoned the family, 2. She doesn't get along at all with her mother because her mother is the type to never be satisfied with anything, 3. They never spend time with her, they give her money so they don't have to deal with her. The list could go on and on but you get the point. Lila doesn't spend much time at home. She spends most of her time at the park writing her lyrics and stories. She wants to be a singer or a writer when she's grows up and Lila happens to be creative as hell or she's at the arcade being one of the guys. It's her one passion in it. Another one of her passions is sex. It's not like she's experienced or anything - well maybe a little - but she's a very sexual being. She doesn't have a problem showing off her body or writing about erotic things in her poems. She's the one to go to if you're having problems with dating or girls and what not. Even if you're having problems with boys she'll help. She is a none judgemental person because she likes to be around all different types of people. While she may seem quiet because she works on her writings but she's actually quite the chatter box if you start the conversation first. Sometimes, she gets so involved in her writing though that she kind of blocks the world out. She doesn't usually do that. It's only when she's writing. She's determined to right the world next award winning novel. She's probably the most friendly person around. She never turns down the chance to talk to anyone, no matter who they are. She doesn't like to let people in because she feels if she does that she would be vaulnerable to them and she likes it the other way around. That's why it's hard for her to keep friends or boyfriends. She feels that if someone gets to know her they won't like the real her she would rather someone not like her image rather than herself. She takes what people say, and events that happen to her, to heart. She never forgets them and she is constantly reminding herself of the past. Which makes it difficult for anyone to really know Samara because the person she portrays to everyone is just that, a portrayal. Some may say that it is out of fear but Samara believes that it is out of knowledge, it is human nature to learn from their mistakes. Samara fully trusts her intuition and, more often than not, goes with it. She has a sarcastic sense of humor that some people get and others don't. From looking at her, there would be no indication that she is in need of release. She finds her release in music. Music is her sanctuary. It is the only thing that has the ability to calm her thoughts. She has no standards for her writing, she isn't expecting to create some masterpiece, to her that isn't the point. She writes because it makes her free. It is that freedom helps her through each day and it is what is continuing to make her stronger. He really doesn't like to speak that much. He does speak when he wants to. He is rebellious. He does what he wants when he wants and he doesn't bother sugar coating anything. He'll try to help you with whatever problems you may have but he doesn't go looking for them, he doesn't want to be invovled. He trys to stay out of the loop and out of people's problems but sometimes he finds himself being sucked into them. He's a nice guy. He's very loyal. He's been known to be a little cocky and sarcastic. He likes to have a good time. He doesn't like being told what to do. Everyone knows that he is always up to no good but somehow he always manages to get out of it. He is a little egotistical because of it but it doesn't make him unbearable to be around. Lucas is a very outgoing person and is a bit of a goof at times. Entering his Junior year, he has been bombarded with questions about his future and what he plans to do with it. Lucas can't understand how he is expected to decide his whole lives as a teenager, so he hasn't. But it's been making him wonder just what his passion is in life. Though not actively, he is hoping to find something that would be able to hold his interest longer than a few minutes, if even that. He's been on the varsity team since the second semester of ninth grade. He is very confident some may call him self absorbed but he's not. He just knows what he is. Justin is a big flirt. He even does it without noticing or so his ex-girlfriends have told him. Most people think that reason Justin talks so much is because he likes the sound of his voice but in truth he just loves to talk to learn new things and new people. He likes to use his artistic skills for the better and play and make his own music up. He sometimes can be a walk over and he allows people to walk all over him and use him for rides and stuff which is not a good thing. That shyness, though, doesn't show very often. Paul practically belongs on the stage. He is an actor and he has shown his abilities in many of the school plays. He beat out several upperclassmen in his freshman year for the part of Romeo. He loves drama more than almost everything. They either hate him or they love him. Robbie's a flirt to put it simply. He has a tendency of being a real jack@$$ to any and every body he meets. He seems pretty shallow and you'd be right on that. He does have his shallow moments. He's two faced. One moment he can be all best buddy with you and then the next he would be stabbing you in the back. He is a charmer. He knows he cute and he uses it to his advantage. Robbie came from a wealthy household. You think he has the perfect life but he really doesn't. He also isn't as bad as he seems either. He also keeps to himself. He doesn't let anyone get to close to him. You got to give him a chance. He is actually a decent guy. He's very kind hearted and loyal if you get pass his shields. He's a hopeless romantic. He's likes to have fun, he happens to not be as stupid as he pretends to be and he likes to do art. No one knows this because he keeps it pretty secret. His father is a hard edged 'show no mercy' type of coach who has always beat into Robbie's head that he has to be perfect. That good isn't good enough. Robbie isn't at all bad guy if you really get to know him and get pass his sheilds, you might be shocked at what you find Relationships: TBA Tb: Cliffy Pb: Jason Behr Human Name: Mark Livingston Grade: 12th Personality: Mark in one word is odd.That what alot of people say about him.He's very out there and he does what he wants.He's the guy that tried to start a Dazed and Confused club at school and who you can find at Joe's Records,his after school job,dancing on the counter to Pink Floyd or Sex Pistols.He says random things at weird times and can throw out a number of useless pop culture facts.He's pretty impulsive and doesn't care what people think of him.He kind of just does what makes him happy.And he usually is happy.He's pretty upbeat.The only thing he isn't happy about is his music.Besides the fact that Mark is probably one of the most music knowledgable people in the world,he doesn't think he has alot of musical talent.He hates to sing infront of people and he just thinks that if he wants to go into music,he'll only make it as like a personal assistant or owning a record store.He wants more but he doesn't think he can get it. He’s the guy people know, and he’d easily make friends with people, if he likes you, he’s kind of crude also, he pick on you at time, but always the picking leads to the friendship stage and soon your easily be friends, that’s just how he is, if you can’t handle that, then your shouldn’t really get to know him then. Relationships: TBA TB: StarliteParadise PB: James Franco Human Name: Ferris Lovegood Grade: 10 Personality: Okay, as you can tell by the picture, Ferris is a jock. He's not your typical jock. He's actually really nice and doesn't pick on people like other jocks do. Just because he's athletic doesn't mean he's mean. He's actually quite friendly. A little on the shy side but friendly just the same. He's popular because he's a jock though he keeps to himself. He's only a jock because he likes to play sports. If he didn't like sports, he'd probably be in the geek category because this jock here...yeah he's geeky. When he not practicing, he's on the computer. That's probably the only way to go him to talk alot - he's totally outgoing when he's talking to people online. He's weird like that - he can't talk to people face to face but he can carry on a while conversation with a total stranger on the computer. He has big problems with self confidence. He doesn't think highly of himself and he's always putting himself down. Always. He's always trying to lift people's spirts up, yet he puts himself down. All in all - Ferris isn't the stereotypical jock, get to know him and you'll see that. He doesn't let anyone get to close to him. You got to give him a chance. He is actually a decent guy. He's very kind hearted and loyal if you get pass his shields. He's a hopeless romantic. He's likes to have fun, he happens to not be as stupid as he pretends to be and he likes to do art. No one knows this because he keeps it pretty secret. His father is a hard edged 'show no mercy' type of coach who has always beat into Robbie's head that he has to be perfect. That good isn't good enough.
