A deadly virus has wiped the face of the earth clean of the human race, save a group here or there that somehow was immune and survived, while all their loved ones perished. This particular group is in what used to be the city of London. They very rarely stray outside of their home, which is a series of townhouses, and they must rely on each other to survive despite all the setbacks and problems they may face in the future. This is their story.

The Survivors

Bio: Before the virus, Jez was on her way to becoming a very respected artist. Her life was a step in the right direction, which was a damn good thing for the sake of her, and her 6 year old daughter, Emilie. Since the virus? Emilie's died, her life's gone down the tube and now she has nothing. Why she's still alive, Jez has no idea but sometimes, like the others, she contemplates ending it. It's just that...something won't let her, for right now. She still feels that she has a purpose to serve and Jez is admittedly curious as to what that might be. She tries to be friendly to her fellow survivors but some days, the pain of losing Emilie is to much and she can't deal with being around them. They act like nothing's wrong, and nothing has happened when horrible things have been going on. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt, it seems.
Connections: Jez almost regrets to say that she's found the love of her life in Paul Beecher. She feels guilty, having these moments of true happiness while everything else in her life has gone to ruin but..she can't help it. They're two of a kind and he's her only source of happiness lately.

Bio: Thomas has never known happiness, in his entire life. He's never found love or anything redeeming about this world and the virus didn't make much of a difference to him. He feels the same as he always has, just...now he has company. He's not sure how to interact with people, and tends to be very quiet around them. Social situations make him uncomfortable and he usually won't say a word unless spoken to. A very short word, at that. He answers as simply as possible to get out of the spotlight and hangs back towards the shadows where he feels most comfortable. Despite the state of the world around him, Thomas still dresses as he always has. Very distinguished and sharp.
Connections: None. Thomas refuses to allow himself closeness with anyone. But things have a funny way of changing, don't they?

Bio: Mac always carried a certain charisma to her, something that she never really thought about or really cared. She was the epitome of a carefree poet. Mac's tomboyish laidback behavior gave such a crude differential against her almost brooding at time, aesthetic tastes. As for the thought of impending doom? She never really thought too much more of it. Her life didn't exactly involve prancing in a field of flowers. Her father was a no good convict and her mother was a crack whore if anyone had ever seen one. She'd gotten beaten and bruised and yelled at and everything in the abusive book and yet still, there she was, standing there in spiteful and daring stance against such situations. The thought of the end of the world wasn't much different. It didn't seem any worse or any better than the situation she was already in, stuck behind the demons that her lineage had abandoned her too and pushed on by the sands of time. If anything Mac was a trooper and determined as much as she was defiant to continue living on in life. She'd press on until the end. It was long ago that she had done away with the though of self mutilation or suicide. They were thoughts she had placed in the past and now was working on those nightmares she'd get nightly. Life was an endless struggle especially for Mac, but no matter what she'd survive because it was the only way she could rebel against those who tried to keep her down. If they wanted her dead then she'd stay alive until the end of time, until the end of the world.

Bio: What Vicious seemed to do or what his past held were questionable aspects. Things that weren't discussed. That couldn't be discussed. Vicious was mute. He had this demeanor about him. This air to the way he walked that changed the mood of everything. It gave this eerie mystery to him atop his secretive demeanor. He kept to himself and did what needed to be done. His eyes gave away a speck to the years of vaulted knowledge propped between those two ears. Vicious seemed anti-social by nature and always kept that bent up scrunched up mangled cigarette perched between his lips. Unlit. Always unlit. Vicious knew what people think. It was obvious in their eyes. People thought he was some kind of convict. Some stuck more to the truth, to the love he had lost and the love he'd never let go. His behavior didn't help that much. He was cold and distant. Though he was high maintenance, he was unkempt. Vicious never really tried to clear his name. People would think what they will and rumors would circulate about whether he wanted them to or not. Vicious held strong morals and stuck to who he was. Never wavering from what was right or wrong. There seemed to be a good stark contrast to those two. Vicious didn't see grayspace when it come to right and wrong situations. He saw life as it was and was relatively cynical about it. He was a realist and never really took too much to life other than it was a matter of survival. It was living through the day and that was enough of an accomplishment. Living a day at a time, always living on the edge of a cliff and never knowing if the next day would follow with death. On that day he would light that cigarette and take one last puff. That day would come. To that Vicious was sure, but until then he would take life a stride at a time.

She tries to be optimistic, but even she doesn't know how they are all going to make it through the winter. She tries to get along with everyone, but there are some people who won't open up despite the fact that there are so few of them left and time is not guaranteed. She lost her parents and her twin sister to the virus, and she thinks about them daily, but she knows the only way to truly honor the people who have been killed is to live life the way they would have if they were still here. Natalie doesn't want to dwell on the past because it diminishes the future.

He didn't lose his parents to the virus, he lost them in a car crash, but sometimes he thinks it would've been better had they been killed by the virus. It would make it easier to cope with. He's lost so many people that he doesn't want to have to deal with losing more.

His world was turned upside down when she was killed, especially since they'd just discovered she was pregnant. At first he thought he'd fall apart but then as he met others in the same situation he realised the world hadn't stopped. Now he hopes to make new friends, possibly even find new love one day. He'll do anything to help the other survivors, he believes they were all spared for a reason, he's not quite sure what but they have to stick together to figure it out. He's not the most out going of the group but does his best to get on with everyone.

Bio: Sometimes Casey wishes the virus had killed her too, afterall it took her family, friends, boyfriend and left her all alone with just a bunch of mostly freaky strangers for company. She doesn't see that everyone else is suffering just the same, she can't see past her own problems. She misses the parties and superficial stuff like TV. She'll go to the trendiest clothes shops, now she can just take whatever she wants but it isn't the same, she knows there won't be any new trends to follow. Every now and then she thinks about ending her life but deep down inside she has a spark that wants to live and fight on, maybe eventually this side of her will win out over the depressed helpless side. If she could find someone to love her and to carve out her place in this new world maybe she could stop mourning the past but right now everything just seems so hard.

Bio: Since he was just a little guy (about seven years old) Paul has been interested in the theater and other performance-related things. Because he was a little bit spoiled by his parents, Paul got to take every opportunity available when it came to acting. Soon enough, he had made a name for himself. Well, sort of... He performed at local venues and never really got any further than that. It didn't matter to him, though. His love for the theater made him forget that he was just a small-town actor and that he'd probably never get any further than that. He has dreams, of course, but he's perfectly happy with what he has now.
Connections: Even though she's much wilder than he is, Paul is truly in love with Jezebel Hudson. They might not be exactly alike, but they're both very creative types and they get along well. As for friends, Paul treats everyone nicely and usually ends up having them be friendly in return.

She got alot of guys, but she had to real relationships. But there was always that dark, hollow place in her that people could sense. She had mood-swings every 2 minutes when she had a bad day. Though she never got into drugs, she maybe drank a bit but she only has gotten drunk once. She doesn't like to admit it, but she has a eating disorder. But she hides it from the rest of the world, she doesn't want other people knowing her problems. So she eats alot in front of people, then excuses herself to go to the bathroom and does the dreaded feeling and sticks her long skinny finger down her throat in a bathroom. After that she's fine, she feels skinny and looks great anyway. She wants guys not only to notice her, but would want an actual relationship with her. So she's very insecure, it probably comes from when she lived with her parents. They used to call her 'normal looking' compared to her 'gorgeous' sister. So she feels the need to be beautiful, thats the only way people will notice her, if shes beautiful.

It freaks him out. He likes knowing what is ahead of him. He and his brother are the opposite but they got along really well. Logan was always protective of his brother. More then he was to his own parents. They didn’t like him being so quiet. Logan couldn’t help the way he was. He just happened to be like that. Bio: Ryan was always the man-about-town. Partying, hooking-up, until the virus struck. He fell in love, but lost her to the virus, and now he's afraid to let anyone get close. He's learned to put people to the side and not let himself become to close to anyone. He didn't lose his parents to the virus, he lost them in a car crash, but sometimes he thinks it would've been better had they been killed by the virus. It would make it easier to cope with. He's lost so many people that he doesn't want to have to deal with losing more.

Bio: Before the virus struck, she had alot of friends. She would be considered one of the 'in' people in high school. She was a senior and she absolutley loved it. She got alot of guys, but she had to real relationships. But there was always that dark, hollow place in her that people could sense. She had mood-swings every 2 minutes when she had a bad day. Though she never got into drugs, she maybe drank a bit but she only has gotten drunk once. She doesn't like to admit it, but she has a eating disorder. But she hides it from the rest of the world, she doesn't want other people knowing her problems. So she eats alot in front of people, then excuses herself to go to the bathroom and does the dreaded feeling and sticks her long skinny finger down her throat in a bathroom. After that she's fine, she feels skinny and looks great anyway. She wants guys not only to notice her, but would want an actual relationship with her. So she's very insecure, it probably comes from when she lived with her parents. They used to call her 'normal looking' compared to her 'gorgeous' sister. So she feels the need to be beautiful, thats the only way people will notice her, if shes beautiful.

Bio: Nath was always one of the good guys, before the virus he was a primary school teacher, married to his high school sweetheart, he even went to church every week. His world was turned upside down when she was killed, especially since they'd just discovered she was pregnant. At first he thought he'd fall apart but then as he met others in the same situation he realised the world hadn't stopped. Now he hopes to make new friends, possibly even find new love one day. He'll do anything to help the other survivors, he believes they were all spared for a reason, he's not quite sure what but they have to stick together to figure it out. He's not the most out going of the group but does his best to get on with everyone.

Bio: Sometimes Casey wishes the virus had killed her too, afterall it took her family, friends, boyfriend and left her all alone with just a bunch of mostly freaky strangers for company. She doesn't see that everyone else is suffering just the same, she can't see past her own problems. She misses the parties and superficial stuff like TV. She'll go to the trendiest clothes shops, now she can just take whatever she wants but it isn't the same, she knows there won't be any new trends to follow. Every now and then she thinks about ending her life but deep down inside she has a spark that wants to live and fight on, maybe eventually this side of her will win out over the depressed helpless side. If she could find someone to love her and to carve out her place in this new world maybe she could stop mourning the past but right now everything just seems so hard.

For my last girl...I might use Victoria Pratt, Sunny Mabrey or Kristanna Loken...I don't know which one Im going to use yet but those three are in the top 3...Im more leaning toward Sunny at the moment
