| The Insitution - A MYOC RP - + Origional Idea by Jimmy aka SurviorJim Plot: Have you ever wondered what it be like if there was a place that could help your teenager get off of drugs? How about a place that could get homeless teenagers off of living on the streets? Or how about a place that could help your teenager that has an illness? A place in Boston, Massachusetts known as the Institution has opened. The Institution is made up of a rehab center, a hospital, two pscyh wards, a shelter and a jail/training school. The sole purpose of the Institution is care for, help, change these teenagers so their lives or the remainder of their lives can be somewhat better then they once were. Teenagers from all over the United States come to this Institution with their own free will or they are forced to come. Even though their sisuations are very different, the teenagers start to form tight bonds of friendships and even relationships. Rules + Boy/Girl rule. The Red Area (The Rehab Center) This area is of the Institution is for the teenagers who have serious drug and alcohol addictions. Part of this of this program is daily meetings, urine checks. His mother was a prositute and that is how he came to be. He doesn't know who is father is so it's just always been him and his mother. His mother was very heavily into drugs when she had him so natually he was a drug addicted baby. That addiction carried through out his childhood and he became addicted to numerous other drugs. To support his habit, like his mother, he began prosituting himself. In other words - he became a hustler. His hustling turned him gay and he has stayed that way. He's gay for pay but that doesn't mean he won't do things for woman. You pay, he delievers. It's as simple as that. He'll even be an escort for you if it means gettng cash. Even though he will do girls for cash, he likes lolipops compared to carpets. He liked his lifestyle and how it was going until his drug addiction ended him in the hospital. The doctor recommend he go to a rehab center so they sent him to the insitution to try and ween him off his addiction. He is hustling with the workers of the insitution to try and buy his way out of the evil place so he can get back on with his life. Relationships: TBA TB: ShiriS PB: Brendan Fehr Name: Darien Wilson Age: 18 What Area He or She Is In: Red Personality: Cold, Dark, Ruthless, Aggressive, Controlling, Vengeful Bio: Damien was born into the hell he considers his life. His parents were both heavy cocaine addicts. Darien was constantly abused by his both of his parents when they were high. He was always called a worthless piece of garbage by both of his parents while they were high. The emotional and physical abuse of both his parents finally took his toll on him. When Damien turned 13 he took his first hit of cocaine after school one day with his best friend when Darien stole some of his father's drugs. Since that day, Damien has gone from a good kid with a promising future to another useless junkie. Darien became so hooked on cocaine that he would spend days without eating or sleeping to get high at night sometimes with his parents. One night Darien suffered a drugoverdose and he was found by his uncle who happened be a cop. His uncle got him out of jail and sent him here in hopes he can clean up before its too late. Personality: Protective, Temperamental, Extroverted, Head-strong, Determined, Heedless, Regretful. Bio: Ever since they arrived from México when Carlos was 16, he's hated living in America. He hated the racism, the system, having to learn english...everything. In fact for a year, he didn't even bother speaking English. All his friends were Latinos, and he always skipped school - it made no difference to him. Carlos' family lived in the poorest areas of Chino, California, in a Hispanic neighbourhood, which bordered with an Italian neighbourhood. There were two main gangs in the area, one a Mexican gang, the other an Italian one, and the two were constantly warring over territory, and girls, and....well, anything really. When Carlos was 14 years old, he first got involved with the Mexican gang, slowly rising up through the ranks, until he was one of the most highly respected and feared people in the whole area. But it also seemed that, the higher Carlos got, the deeper he got, and the more drugs he took. It got to the point where he got his sister into prostitution so that he could get the money for his drugs. Without realising what he was doing, he pulled her down with him. The suddenly one day, his parents just told him that he and Adriana were being sent to a place where they could get straight again. Carlos was furious, how had they even found out about what was going on? The two of them were take to The Institute, and for a while Carlos did everything that he could to not get straight. He smuggled in drugs, and did them in a spot where there was no surveilance, and rebelled against every restriction that there was. But then Carlos had to come to a decision, he needs to get better, if not for himself, then for his sister, and he needs to make up for everything that he put her through. He got her into the mess that she is in now, all because of his addiction, he turned her into a prostitute and a drug addict. And although he'll never forgive himself for it, and he doubts that she ever will, he has to try. But it isn't as easy as just deciding to quit. Carlos is so far hooked, he's not sure he'll ever be able to get out. And the knowledge that he got away with smuggling in drugs means he knows how to do it, and he has to fight a battle every moment of every day not to just fall back on that again. Relationships: TBA TB: Frozen Petal PB: Gael Garcia Bernal Name: Maureen Lane Age: 17 What Area He or She Is In: Red Personality: Bold,Daring,Impulsive,Vulnerable,Moody,Independent Bio: Maureen grew up in a seemingly perfect life.Her parents were rich and seemed to be very much in love.She was popular,rich,top of her class,bound for Harvard,and she had the perfect boyfriend.But nothing was really that perfect.Her parents' marriage was on the rocks.Her mom was having an affair while her dad was having a mid life crisis,but of course they always appeared to the public to be perfect.She wasn't really in love with her boyfriend,the pressure on her in school was over the top,and she just wasn't happy anymore.So she turned to alcohol.It was easy to get and when she was drunk,she felt better.But that wasn't enough after awhile.After awhile,it just became the same.She needed something new so she turned to ecstasy.It was pretty easy to get and she spent enough money anyway that her parents didn't know that the money was going to drugs.Her so called friends,the same ones who hadn't cared when she was on the verge of depression,got concerned about her and told her parents and that was when her parents decided she needed to get help.Maureen didn't go without a fight,but her parents were determined.Whether their concern was actually about her or if it was more about what would happen if people found out,they still were determined to send her away. Relationships: Tba TB: DreamOn777 PB:Mischa Barton Mischa Barton Name: Garrison "Mac" McCoy Age: 16 What Area He or She Is In: Red Personality: Vigilant, Vindictive, Violent, Vehement, Vicious, Vocal Bio: Mac lived the life for a while, the all-American one full on with a station wagon... not really. It was more like a truck with a confederate flag painted on the back, but it was a pretty cushy life. It wasn't until his father and mother got a divorce and his mother married to some Yank upstate that things changed. Oh and did they change. Everything became all appearances and this and that and what was proper. Mac couldn't stand it. It was too much. He found some solace in the idea of heroine, dro, and extacy, but it was shallow and in the end he became so dependant that he was on the verge of overdose. Mac felt like he was spiralling out of control and his new "father" finally intervened, though it wasn't something that Mac appreciated. It wasn't any of his father's business and if it were anyone else, he'd be grateful, but instead this nosiness began to grate. He hated this and it almost spurred him into drugs even more. It changed when he found himself in a hospital... staring at the irregular blips on the machine next to him... Relationships: TBA TB: Endless Rain PB: Cory Sevier Name: Carter Standford Age: 19 What Area He or She Is In: Red Personality: Viligant, Sardonic, HeadStrong, Bright, Persuasive, Aloof Bio: Carter was born into a poor family. His father was never around. He was a bad guy...known for his active role in gangs. There also were rumors circuling on how he killed many people. His father was locked up in some jail cell somewhere and that is the last thing that Carter heard about his old man. His mother started hanging out with some equally trashy man who was a drug dealer. Carter and the guy, Bronze didn't get along wonderful but Bronze introduced Carter into the world of drugs. The mother was to far gone to protect him. Carter was curious about the drugs and along with his low self esteem and the fact that there was a vicous cicle going around about him and his family at school and around town. He took a shot of herione and cocaine. He then started to get into worse drugs. When he ran out of the stash, he stole money to get them. He did worser and worser drugs and soon he became addicted to them. He couldn't take it and he found confort in the drugs. No one will dare take his drugs away from him. He needs them. They make him happy. Something possibly that great couldn't be that wrong for him right? Bio: Will has always been an addictive person if it isn’t one thing it is another. He first got started on this life with the occasion cigarette or a drink of beer. But then he got a taste for it and started to need harder stuff to get him by, pot, herion, and finally ecstay. He overdosed twice befor his parents sent him here. The first time he told them he would get clean himself but fell right back into the hard and cold world that is drugs and lies. Relationships: TBA TB: Starvixen(Jules) PB:Seth Green Seth Green Name: Kevin Chambers Age: 17 What Area He or She Is In: Red Personality: Irritable, Distant, Reclusive, Sweet, Shy, Untrusting Bio: Kevin was orphaned when he was 3 and spent the next 12 years bouncing around from foster home to foster home when the people didn’t want him any more. He was to quiet for them, he never got out and goof around and that kind of worried them. One lady even said that his stare unnerved her. It was when he was 11 that he started smoking pot and he was 13 when he moved on to pills and 14 when he moved on to the harder stuff. When he was high he didn’t feel the hurt he felt from being passed for foster home to foster home. He didn’t care that he wasn’t wanted and that he freaked people out. When he was 15 he was at the point where he just didn’t care any more about putting up with people and he ran away, constantly but they always found him. Before he was sent here he must have found a set of foster parents that actually cared. Nobody else had bothered trying to get him cleaned up. Relationships: TBA TB: Summernights PB:Adam Brody Name: Lucas Malachai Age: 17 Area They're In: Red Personality: Spiteful, Petty, Snide, Scornful, Careless, and Manipulative Bio: Lucas was born, almost literally, with a silver spoon in his mouth. Parents filthy rich, he's never wanted for anything. If he can imagine it, he had it. The excitement of having everything, however, wore thin. There were other things to try. Heroin, to Lucas, was the ultimate rush of his existence. Nothing could match the sensation of shooting up..not even the many ladies and gentlemen he took to bed. It wasn't until he took just a little too much that anyone even noticed that it had become a problem. His parents found him laying face down in a pool of vomit in his room and took it from there. He was sent to The Institution as a way for them to save face. "Look, we care so much about our son! We're getting him the best help!". But in all honesty, they just wanted him gone so he could embarass them no longer. Relationships: TBA TB: Psycho Hose Beast PB: Eric Johnson Name: Christian *Chris* Jackson Age: 16 What Area He or She Is In: Red Personality: Angry, Depressed, Self-loathing, Self-deprecating, Regretful, Repentant. Bio: Chris grew up in a small town in the Midwest. He didn’t have a good home life, to say the least. His mother told him every day how he and his older brother and younger sister had ruined her life. His father ran out on them when he was two, right after his little sister was born. His brother sexually and physically abused him and his little sister. He didn’t do well in school and finally at the age of fifteen he did his first line of cocaine. He’d been fooling around with weed since he was twelve and finally decided to try something stronger. For the next year he got more and more hooked and he started stealing to get money for his addiction. He is a typical case of a wayward youth. He’s mad at the world, he thinks he’s worthless and at the same time he feels bad for what he’s done, bad for what he’s put other people through because there were people who cared about him. His little sister Julie cared, she was always there when he needed to talk, his girlfriend Brenda cared and tried to get him to stop and his best friend Matt cared even after Chris had basically told him to get out of his life. Now he feels he owes it to these three people to clean up his act or else he might end up like he did the first time, in a pool of his own vomit in the bathroom at school. Hell if it wasn’t for the school counselor sending him here he might be there again right now. Relationships: TBA TB: Ara_Cale PB: Josh Hartnett The Green Area (The Shelter Area) This area is for teenagers who have come to the Institution because they have no place to go and they have been living on the streets or have been abandoned by their parents . She was born to people who really didn't like each other. They were forced to marry each other so they fought all the time. They really didn't even want Samantha in their lives but they kept her around to make things look like they were alright. They were far from alright though. Her father beat her while her mother payed absolutly no attention to her. Her father landed her in the hospital a few times and no one would believe her when she told them what happened. They believe it was someone else beating. Oh no, how could a man like respectable Edward Crackshaw could not be the one beating his daughter. He's far too good for that sort of thing. Finally, after years and years of abuse, Samantha couldn't take it anymore. She finally just ran away. It's not like they would miss her. She found refugee in the instituion after two years of living on the streets and almost dying from malnutriciton. Relationships: TBA TB: ShiriS PB: Joss Stone Name: Mary Anne Blackburn Age: 18 What Area He or She Is In: Green Personality: Independent, Resourceful, Intense, Outspoken, Talkative, Caring Bio: Mary Anne use to live in a good well brought up home with a good loving family. Her whole world changed three nights before Christmas when Mary Anne was 11. The Christmas tree that they had left on all night had started an electrical fire. Mary Anne and her brother John were the only ones who made out of the house and her parents died in the fire. Mary Anne and her brother were put into foster after foster home but it never worked out. Mary Anne's brother became very sick and it was learned he had leukemia. The night her brother died Mary Anne run away from the adoption agency and never looked back. She lived on the streets for 5 years surviving anyway she can before she came to the Institution. Relationships: TBA TB: The Survivor PB: Erica Durance Name: Chris Evans Age: 18 What Area He or She Is In: Green Personality: Loyal,Intellectual,Warm,Observant,Introverted,Thoughtful Bio: Chris was always ready to pick up and leave his home ever since he was a kid.His mother was an alcoholic and constantly mourned the loss of her son,Bobby,Chris's younger brother.Bobby was hit by a car and killed at the tender age of 7.Chris was 12 at the time and was devastated.Bobby had always looked up to Chris and Chris had always watched out for his little brother.Chris's dad hated life at home,but only stuck with the family because he had to support them.Chris never saw his parents as a couple in love.He knew his father cared about his mother,but that the love between had died when Bobby was hit by that car.Chris was unhappy most of his life,but stayed to help his mother.He missed his brother,but as time went on,he began to move on with his life.But his mother got worse and worse,sometimes she wouldn't get out of bed,sometimes she was convinced that Bobby was still alive.Chris couldn't take it anymore and ran away 6 months ago.He's been trying to support himself,but when he heard about the Institution,he jumped at the chance to get himself in.He was barely surviving on his own and had a hard time getting any money.The only stable job he had was a job as a bartender,but when the owner found out he lied about his age,he fired Chris,without his weekly paycheck.He's a quiet guy and is actually very creative and smart.When he does open up to someone,he's always very polite and tries to not talk about his past alot. Relationships: Tba TB: DreamOn777 PB:Jake Gyllanhaal Jake Gyllenhaal Name: Richard *Rich* Charleston Age: 17 What Area He or She Is In: Green Personality: Shy, Reclusive, Observant, Sullen, Independent, Humane Bio: Rich was the result of rape. His mother was only sixteen years old when she had him and she was extreamly wealthy. The mother who Rich doesn't even know was raped by some jock at her private school. Her parents didn't want to shame their good name so they decided to raise him and pretend that they were his parents while the mother pretended to be the sister. That turned out wonderfully until he turned fourteen. He learned of the fact that the one who he always thought as his sister was really his mother, Amelie. The parents didn't know what else to do because word started to get around the small small town and storys changed. Rich's grandfather gave him 50 dollars to never come back. Rich had no other choice. He had to leave the only thing he knew. His luck ran out on the street and he lost all his money and he was basicly starving to death. A bad thing happened he got some money from a local friend and while he was walking down the street to buy some food, some gang members beat him up. He can fight but can't fight five off. He was sent to the hospital and he barley made it alive. They wouldn't allow him to leave and go back out on the streets...instead they sent him here with his reluctance of course. Personality: TBA Tb: Cliffy Pb: Lucas Black Name: Cordelia *Delia* Amberson Age: 18 What Area He or She Is In: Green Personality: Overexcited, Sensible, Hard Working, Idealistic, Dreamy, Talkative Bio: For most of her life it was just Delia and her mother, with her mother working her fingers to the bone to take care of the two of them. Delia did what she until she was old enough to get a real job. Mainly babysitting and cleaning people’s houses. She worked part time as a waitress when she was old enough, she would have worked more but her mama wouldn’t let her because it would interfere with her school work. Then her mother was diagnosed with cancer and she went down hill fast. They didn’t’ have insurance and with her mother in the hospital Delia took over working and basically dropped out of school but she couldn’t pay fast enough. By the time her mother died Delia was so deep in debt that she couldn’t even begin to sort it all out. Her mother died 7 months ago and 3 months after that Delia had a nervous break down and lost her job. That’s when she ended up coming here. The teenagers can either be afflicted with terminal illnesses such as AIDS or cancer. They can have conditions or disablities such as blindness, deafness, paralysis. This also houses young teenage girls who are pregnant. For the ones who are pregnant or in serious health they are constantly under watch. + Shiri S: Busy Philips + Endless Rain: Eliza Dusku + Starvixen1000: Sarah Michelle Gellar + cliffy spuffy dreamer: Marieh Delfino + The Survivor: Joshua Jackson + SummerNights: Kirsten Kreuk Name: Paris McBride Age: 17 What Area He or She Is In: Blue Personality: Demanding, Impulsive, Opinionated, Snappy, Sarcastic Bio: In 1980-whatever, a young couple known as Lee and Tony McBride bore a child. They named the sweet little girl Paris because that was their favorite place to vacation. Paris caused her parents no trouble for the first five years of her life. All hall broke loose after that. She became very mouthy with her parents and everyone around her. She was even mouthy with her little brother sometimes. She didn't care though. Her was just someone in way of her life. She grew up to be a very rebelious and apathetic girl. All of that changed, or atleast it changed a little bit, when she slept with some random guy and became pregnant. She stopped being so apathetic but she didn't stop being rebelious or mouthy. She was more mouty than ever to her brother, who was just trying to help her out. Finally, because her parents couldn't handle her anymore, she was sent to the insitution when she was seven months pregnant. That gave her a reason to hate her parents even more. She hates it at the institution. Relationships: TBA TB: ShiriS PB: Busy Philips Name: Jesse Conway Age: 17 What Area He or She Is In: Blue Personality: Trustworthy, Friendly, Loyal, Mellow, Strong, Imaginative Bio: Jesse is probably one of the most imaginative and most down to earth guys you will ever meet. The problem with Jesse is he is dying from AIDS. Jesse contracted the disease from childbirth which resulted in her mother getting it as well. Jesse's mother died when Jesse was only 2 years old after her HIV progressed to AIDS. Jesse lived with HIV for a number of years and doctors believed that Jesse would live a long life without it ever upgrading to AIDS. Unforunately and tragically the doctors were wrong and Jesse got full blown AIDS after he turned 17. His father sent him to the Institution thinking it would be best for him to be in a comfortable enivorment to spend the rest of his days there. Relationships: TBA TB: The Survivor PB: Joshua Jackson Name: Lorelei “Lori” Conner Age: 17 What Area He or She Is In: Blue Personality: Amicable, Imaginative, Introverted, Perceptive, Tranquil, Idealistic. Bio: Lori and her sister Haley have always been very close, they had to be close to get through the kind of life they were born into. Lori and Haley parents, Mark and Jeanne were never the kind of parents that any child should have. Mark was an alcoholic and Jeanne was just a punching bag for him, and the girls were her punching bag. While Lori took everything quietly and Haley didn’t. But four years ago the girls were removed from the family and were sent to live with their paternal grandparents. They went from a unhealthy environment, to a strict and confiding one. Haley acted out and doing things Lori never approved off and tried to stop. But on one faithful night everything changed. Haley got into a car and drove she and her sister into a ditch. Lori didn’t make it out unscathed, she came out of the accident blind. Broken glass had embedded itself in her eyes from the windshield. When her grandparents found out they had no option but to send them here. For Haley’s own good and for Lori’s. Now Lori has to learn to live her life blind because of her sister. Relationships: TBA TB:Starvixen(Jules) PB: Sarah Michelle Gellar Name: Shannon "Shane" Remington Age: 17 What Area He or She Is In: Blue Personality: Reclusive, Elitist, Broody, Sophisticated, Graceful, Caustic Bio: Shane was the calmer of the two between Angel and her. She didn't like to fight. It felt... below her somehow. She had other things to worry about. Like how to get away from her family. Not Angel... but everyone else. All the... ugh disgusting men breezing in and out of their house. Shane couldn't stand it. It was awful and in that she and Angel, one day, picked up and left. Unlike Angel though, she broke off and found herself sanctuary in her father's sister's house. She would frequently be visited by Angel but it wasn't the same. She felt hollow. Empty. Shane couldn't deal with her aunt after a while. She didn't feel like she belonged... and her aunt couldn't deal with Shane's constant seizures. Finally, she admitted herself to the institute, her seizures and the pain that followed drove her to near insanity. It was too much to take yet again and it was to the poin that death seemed like the only way out... ironically similar to her twin's thoughts... Relationships: TBA TB: Endless Rain PB: Eliza Dushku Name: Kansley Applewood Age: 16 What Area He or She Is In: Blue Personality: Blunt, Naive, Expressive, Bright, Loyal, Unyielding Bio: Kansley had a normal simple life for the most part. She had great loving parents who cared about her. She was daddy's little girl. She did wonderful in school and was considered the most popular girl at school until her parents started to fight more often and sometimes they hit each other. They also sometimes physically and emotionally destroyed Kansley...other times they didn't even pay attention to her exsistance. Kansley wanted to be payed attention to so what she did was started to get into trouble at school. She dumped her squad and dumped her boyfriend and friends and changed her outlook completely. It became like breathing to her. The popular cheerleader that she once was turned into a punk with no regrets. Kansley met a boy named Alex and she thought that she was in love with him. After a year she finally caved in and on prom night she had sex with Alex. They lost their virginity to each other. Things seemed to remain perfect until she noticed the early sighs of pregnancy. She told Alex first and he flipped out. He dumped her and walked away. He started dating some other girl and he completely payed no attention to Kansley. This wasn't good for Kansley. It weighed heavily on her heart. She told her sister, April and April being the little brat she was told her parents. Kansley was then taken to the hospital and it turned out to be fact. Her parents were settling the divorce and they couldn't take it...they didn't want her to ruin their good name they built so they kicked her out and disowned her. Kansley feels as if everyone's abandoned her. She came here because she had no where else to go and in the position that she is right now she doesn't want to be left along on the streets. This girl never lived a life on the streets....she wouldn't make it alive and she knows it...she won't risk the baby Relationships: TBA Tb: Cliffy Pb: Diane Kruger Name: Jasmine Frank Age: 17 What Area He or She Is In: Blue Personality: Calm, Endearing, Cheerful, Optimistic, Grounded, Uncomplicated Bio: Jasmine had a pretty okay childhood until she was ten. That was when the accident happened, something that she chooses to block out of her life even though she has to leave with the consequences. Jasmine was in a boating accident and for while there she was in a coma when she woke up she couldn’t hear anything. The doctor’s didn’t know who long she’d be that way or how it happened. By this time she was an addict, hooked on cocaine and heroin, just like her older brother. But even though she was pregnant, she continued to sleep with strangers, and fill her body full of drugs. She got clean, and for a while, it looked like she was going to be okay. But then the reality of what had happened really hit her, and without the drugs to fall back on, she had nothing to keep her up. So she began cutting, the physical pain was her only refuge from the mental pain. And one day, she went one step further, she downed a bottle of tequila and slit her wrists. Her brother found her, and she was saved in hospital, but her parents decided that sending her to The Institution was the only real solution. Soon, Angel became defiant and that swagger in her step was a testament to such events. She showed no compassion. She learned how to fight, lived off the streets, and did not trust anyone. The endless abyss of abuse Angel was victimized to caused her to run away. Unlike her twin sister Shane, she never really was one to trust anyone even if they were blood. Shane was all Angel had and all Angel wanted to do was keep running, but it was something that Shannon could not do and so they went their separate ways, crossing paths every now and then. She worked in a strip club and sold her body to put food on the table. Ansley met guy and brought him home and this guy was a slacker who stole the money and added it to his drug collection. They didn't know about it until it was to late. The man hated Darren because Darren and him were always fighting. Darren was apart of the same gang that his dad was in. He liked his life until a tattered and torn Ansley came running to him. She told him that Darren went on a rampage and started hitting her and wouldn't stop so she escaped. That set a fury in Darren like no other. He went to a store and his kleptoness kicked in and he stole a golf club. He walked back home and words were exchanged and Darren flipped out when the man talked badly about his mother and his father. His parents were both heavy cocaine addicts. Darien was constantly abused by his both of his parents when they were high. He was always called a worthless piece of garbage by both of his parents while they were high. The emotional and physical abuse of both his parents finally took his toll on him. When Damien turned 13 he took his first hit of cocaine after school one day with his best friend when Darien stole some of his father's drugs. Since that day, Damien has gone from a good kid with a promising future to another useless junkie. Darien became so hooked on cocaine that he would spend days without eating or sleeping to get high at night sometimes with his parents. One night Darien suffered a drugoverdose and he was found by his uncle who happened be a cop. His uncle got him out of jail and sent him here in hopes he can clean up before its too late. Her whole world changed three nights before Christmas when Mary Anne was 11. The Christmas tree that they had left on all night had started an electrical fire. Mary Anne and her brother John were the only ones who made out of the house and her parents died in the fire. Mary Anne and her brother were put into foster after foster home but it never worked out. Mary Anne's brother became very sick and it was learned he had leukemia. The night her brother died Mary Anne run away from the adoption agency and never looked back. She lived on the streets for 5 years surviving anyway she can before she came to the Institution. The problem with Jesse is he is dying from AIDS. Jesse contracted the disease from childbirth which resulted in her mother getting it as well. Jesse's mother died when Jesse was only 2 years old after her HIV progressed to AIDS. Jesse lived with HIV for a number of years and doctors believed that Jesse would live a long life without it ever upgrading to AIDS. Unforunately and tragically the doctors were wrong and Jesse got full blown AIDS after he turned 17. His father sent him to the Institution thinking it would be best for him to be in a comfortable enivorment to spend the rest of his days there. She always has been that way. She believes in love and romance and finding her one true love. Elizabeth thought she had found the one true love when she met her first boyfriend Matthew. Matthew was her whole world and she was his. The romance came to a deadly end however when Matthew was killed in a car accident. Elizabeth just shut down and started when black clothes and wearing black makeup. Her parents didn't think much of it thought thinking it was her way of coping with Matt's death. However Liz started cutting and threathening to kill herself so she could be "together with Matt again" Her parents immediately sent her here to get help. His parents never knew what trouble he was going to do and what would happen after he did it. Alexander was extremely close with next door neighbor who use to baby sit him as a child. After Mrs. Wood died of a heartattack, Alexander claimed he was getting special visits from Mrs. Wood during the night. He claimed Mrs. Wood would tell him to do things from stealing his father's car to spray painting "evil" symbols at the local church. After his latest visit which he claimed Mrs. Wood told him to get involved with cutting his arms for fun his parents sent him to the Institution so he could get help and protect him from himself. Relationships: TBA TB: The Survivor PB: Hayden Christensen Name: Felicia "Fi Fi" Morgan Age: 15 What Area He or She Is In: Black Personality: Bitchy, Bossy, Dominant, Seductive, Flirtatous, Sneaky Bio: Felicia Morgan is always associated with trouble and its been that way since Felicia was 7. Felicia would steal candy from the local small shops but she would get caught all the time and the store manager would have to tell her parents. As the years passed by, Felicia got into more trouble around her hometown. Felicia would stay out late with her friends and they would break into cars and destroy private property. During this time Felicia picked up a sick obsession with fire and setting almost anything on fire. One night while out with her friends, Felicia was dared to set an empty parked van on fire. Felicia took the dare but to her horror the parked car had a small child inside and the child was severly burned. Felicia was charged with attempted murder as a minor and sent to the Institution. Felicia regrets what she did to the child although she will never admit to anyone in here. Bio: Adriana and her family lived in México until she was 14, when they moved to escape the job cutting and economical situation. Adriana had problems from the start with english, but she made friends fast, she was friendly and vibrant, and for a while, she was enjoying her life. She was close to her family, and looked up to her brother, and he protected her, and let her hang around with him sometimes. But she knew that he hated it in the USA...Adriana always suspected that her older brother was involved with a gang, but she never really had any idea how involved he was, until he came to her, and told her that he needed her help. He begged her to sleep with a man, a ‘client’ of his, promised it was a one-time thing, he’d never ask her again. And Adriana, being the innocent 15-year-old girl who looked up to her older brother, did just as he had asked. As time went on, these ‘little favours’ that she did for her brother became more and more frequent, up to the point that she was sleeping with men for money every night. Sometimes even a few in a night. She had turned from an innocent virgin to a prostitute in the space of a few months, all because of her brother’s drug addiction. As time went on, her brother began to give her joints after a particularly good night, other times it was a line of cocaine, or a heroin hit, and every time, she took it. Then one night, she was told by a ‘client’ that if she slept without protection, he’d double her pay. Foolishly, she did what he wanted. A month later, Adriana found out that she was pregnant. By this time she was an addict, hooked on cocaine and heroin, just like her older brother. But even though she was pregnant, she continued to sleep with strangers, and fill her body full of drugs. She ended up miscarrying. Even though she had never seemed to care for it, she was devastated, and ended up spilling everything to her mom. Everything went from there. She got clean, and for a while, it looked like she was going to be okay. But then the reality of what had happened really hit her, and without the drugs to fall back on, she had nothing to keep her up. So she began cutting, the physical pain was her only refuge from the mental pain. And one day, she went one step further, she downed a bottle of tequila and slit her wrists. Her brother found her, and she was saved in hospital, but her parents decided that sending her to The Institution was the only real solution. It seemed like every time she got over one hurdle, another popped right up. She dealt with addiction, and got depressed... in a way she's scared to get better, scared to see what she'll have to face next. | Name: Carlos *Los* Molina Age: 19 What Area He Is In: Red. Personality: Protective, Temperamental, Extroverted, Head-strong, Determined, Heedless, Regretful. Bio: Ever since they arrived from México when Carlos was 16, he's hated living in America. He hated the racism, the system, having to learn english...everything. In fact for a year, he didn't even bother speaking English. All his friends were Latinos, and he always skipped school - it made no difference to him. Carlos' family lived in the poorest areas of Chino, California, in a Hispanic neighbourhood, which bordered with an Italian neighbourhood. There were two main gangs in the area, one a Mexican gang, the other an Italian one, and the two were constantly warring over territory, and girls, and....well, anything really. When Carlos was 14 years old, he first got involved with the Mexican gang, slowly rising up through the ranks, until he was one of the most highly respected and feared people in the whole area. But it also seemed that, the higher Carlos got, the deeper he got, and the more drugs he took. It got to the point where he got his sister into prostitution so that he could get the money for his drugs. Without realising what he was doing, he pulled her down with him. The suddenly one day, his parents just told him that he and Adriana were being sent to a place where they could get straight again. Carlos was furious, how had they even found out about what was going on? The two of them were take to The Institute, and for a while Carlos did everything that he could to not get straight. He smuggled in drugs, and did them in a spot where there was no surveilance, and rebelled against every restriction that there was. But then Carlos had to come to a decision, he needs to get better, if not for himself, then for his sister, and he needs to make up for everything that he put her through. He got her into the mess that she is in now, all because of his addiction, he turned her into a prostitute and a drug addict. And although he'll never forgive himself for it, and he doubts that she ever will, he has to try. But it isn't as easy as just deciding to quit. Carlos is so far hooked, he's not sure he'll ever be able to get out. And the knowledge that he got away with smuggling in drugs means he knows how to do it, and he has to fight a battle every moment of every day not to just fall back on that again.
