Role Playing - Good old West MYOC

Ok, Ive always wanted to make an old western type rp so here t'is. Its a MYOC but I do have one character I would like someone to take (Dixie Valentine).

Our story takes place the years after the Civil War in New Mexico, when women defied the traditions, and began to go into professions of their own and cowboying has just become a profitable trade. Theirs no specific plot, so just get into the cowboy spirit and gitter up! Oh and keep in mind, not many people were educated back then, and towns didnt have 2 of the main professions, for example, they didnt have the privelage of having more than one doctor, bartender, sheriff or undertaker in one town. Only some jobs could be repeated, like teachers (at the most 3), waitresses, cooks, cowboys, ranchers, maids, saloon dancers etc.
You can also take Indians or travelers if you want.

Rules
1) I want to say b/g rule...but I've never enforced it, and plus I took 2 guys...but Im sure if I dont enforce it we'll have a town of over populated cow girls taking over. So just keep in mind that Im not enforcing it while it stays believable.
2) Of course, stick with technology of back then, no airplanes or computers and all that modern stuff.
3) BOLD SUBJECTS PLEASE!
4) Try to get your profiles in atleast up to the next day you joined.
5) Take as many characters as you want.
6) Have fun!

The Town of Canterbury

The Saloon Place for entertainment, drinking, and most common meeting place.
The General Store whoever works here can sell whatever they want.
Doctors Office This is the Doctors place.
Daily Central This is where the writers, editors, news people make their news (only on newspapers)
Sheriffs The Sheriff hangs out here, there are 2 jail cells inside.
The Inn A place where visitors from others places can come and stay, there is a small place to eat here as well.
Restaurant whoever works here can name it whatever they want, this is the only "restaurant" in the town.
Morgue This is where you go when you die...
Theres also an old cemetary on the outskirts, with a small chapel.

Bio: Dude, is known to be one of the best gunmen in the whole town...on the good side of course. He’s one of the only gentlemen that really stand out in the town, he is very polite with women and respects them entirely. He seems shy and timid but when he talks he doesnt hold back on anything. He is kind at heart but doesnt take things lightly, has a strong temper but is easy going. It is "rumored" that he is madly in love with one of the town girls, but no one knows who it could be. He owns a ranch on the outskirts of town and comes around the town often.

Name: Samuel *King Tut* King
Age: 32
Profession: Doctor/Coroner
Bio: Dr. Samuel, who always goes by King Tut, is a drunk….well, he’s a different type of drunk though. He could control his liquor when needed. For example, when he’s on duty he never drinks, but when he off he drinks all he wants and if there were to be a call for him, since he is the only doctor in the town, when he was off and drinking, he has a secret recipe he made up which includes milk and god knows what else, that sobers him up pretty fast. So, he’s a responsible drunk. Everybody loves King Tut, because of his personality, he’s a great guy, sarcastic, frank, educated, and over all a lovable character….even though he does like to get drunk, but he will never be caught dirty mouthing anyone, or starting a brawl, and much less being disrespectful towards a woman.

Bio: Johnson is a man of respect and loyality. He likes to make sure that people know who the boss is and who is not. Johnson is a man that holds morals at a high standard in life and therefore hates when people step out of the boundaries of morals and bonds. He believes that you should always give credit where credit is due. Johnson is a man that respects old traditions and has some trouble accepting the new ways of life.

Bio: Jim grew up on a farm near town and unlike his three older brothers hated working there. So he paid extra attention in school and when he left got himself a job as the sheriff's deputy. He's so eagar to please he'll do anything the boss asks. When he's not working he'll often be found having a few quiet drinks in the saloon, he has quite an eye for the ladies and has a laid back charm that tends to go down well with them.

Some people believe that he is in search for the perfect wife while others think that he is using these poor girls and giving them false hope. Reality? Cotton could care less about anything or anyone. He is a one man show and that he will stay.

Bio: While she looks innocent and refined, Dixie can come off as bratty and childish. She moved to New Mexico with her family when she was quite young and is used to the convenience of living a town life. Now Dixie is one of the dancers at the local saloon, but is only working there until (as she puts it), makes a name for herself. Dixie also gets plenty of attention from men, but is only interested in one of them who she respects and admires (though she won't ever admit it). The immature bratty side of Dixie loves playing hard to get.

She is over the age of normal marriage and feels as though if she don't get married soon she may soon be called a town hag and although that may come with a lot of laughs she doesn't want to be the center of attention in that aspect or view as she may call it.

Caroline is very intricate and likes things to be shown in small details but when looking at life she ignores the intricate things and focuses on the large picture shown in front of her. Caroline is a unmarried woman that has no interest yet in finding a husband she likes to show that she don't need a man to support her sorry butt.
