Jade really loved how supportive Derek was being. Sure, they weren't even close to being BFFs or anything like that, but he was someone she was definitely considering to be a close friend. She really needed one and she didn't mind that it was Derek who took that role.
"Don't be ridiculous, she'll be fine with it. Don't worry. Soo..Is that a yes?"
Jade let out a laugh and she looked at him and she nodded in reply. She had to admit, Derek was gorgeous, and he could be annoying, but he was actually being really nice to her. He had seen Serena at the party, but they didn't get a chance to exchange pleasantries, especially with everything going on. But, she did notice Serena and Kimber becoming chummy. Jade wouldn't be surprised if she saw more of Serena in the future.
"Okay," she said following him to Serena's room. "I am pretty starving. I wonder what pizza it will be." she mused aloud.

Nodding in understanding, he saw Natalie get out of the car and he followed her close behind as she burst into her house. He saw Chandler, a girl he had seen around a few times and some guy he knew as Tommy. He knew at least most of the people in Port Charles' first names so that came in handy. Natalie went upstairs to see if Paige was there and he was left with Tommy and Chandler.
“So..Any leads yet?”
Shaking his head, Trent really regret not doing any more for Natalie. He had some guys on it, but he wasn't sure when they would get back to him.
"I hope we will soon," he replied. "I want to find Caroline. I need to find her." he added with a firm nod.

"You helped Natalie instead of coming back to find me?" She asked with a raised an eyebrow. It was the kind of person he was but really? Natalie? Why did he have to help Natalie of all people? Listening to him, she could tell that he wasn't tell her the whole truth. He may be a slightly different person than the man she fell in love with but she could still tell when he was lying.

"You're not telling me everything" She stated, her eyes narrowed at him for a moment. He was leaving something out and she didn't like that. He used to be so honest with her. Why the hell was lying to her now? It didn't make sense to her. Unless he was lying about who he was really with. Maybe it wasn't Natalie at all. Maybe it was Ridley. That would be the only reason he would lie to her, is if he had been with Ridley.



Before she could ask about it, he stated the future and their baby was what matted. While she couldn't argue with him about that, she still wanted to know what he was holding back. Before she could ask about it again, Dr. Lee finally came back into the room. She went over the results of her tests with her and told her that everything was going well. Now it was time to finally have the sonogram and find out if the baby was okay.

"The baby's in the right position to find out the sex. Do you want to know?" Kelly asked, pausing the sonogram device over a certain part of Laura's stomach as she looked over at the two.

She looked over to Jamie for a moment and after getting a nod from him, she looked back to Kelly and nodded her self. She couldn't wait anymore. She wanted to know what they were having. "Yes. We want to know"

"Congratulations, you're going to have a boy"

Her eyes light up and she looked over to her husband with a surprised look on her face. "You hear that? We're going to have a boy! A boy that will look just like his daddy"

So happy that they were having a boy, which was what she wanted, she leaned over and kissed him. She realized after she pulled away that that might not have been the right thing to do seeing as how they haven't kissed since before his accient.

Clearing her throat, she gave him a small apologetic smile as she pulled back and rested back against the bed she was laying on. "Sorry"

Derek laughed, taking another drink from his coffee. "I'm not sure..But it's coming from Mario's so whatever it is..It'll be gooood." He nodded with a playful wink. Mario's had the best pizza in town, hell the best pizza on this side of New York. Anything from there is always good. He couldn't count how many times he's ordered out from there since moving to PC. Granted, he can't cook if his life depended on it..Cept for the basics, so really ordering out on a regular basis wasn't uncommon for him. "I wonder what's taking them so long.." Derek mused, looking up and as if on cue he spotted the babysitter Carmen stepping off the elevator. She had the pizza in one hand and his daughters hand in the other one. "There they are." Derek smiled, taking a few steps to meet them in the middle.

'Daddy!!' His six year old beamed, running straight into her fathers open arms. "Hey pumpkin." Derek smiled, bouncing her in his arms a little. A curious smile came to his face when he saw the hand made paper card she had in her hand. "What's that? Is this for Serena?" He asked while nodding to folded piece of paper she held in her hands. "Let me see." His smile grew ten fold when he saw it. His daughter got every bit of her mothers compassion's. She was kind, sweet, forgiving, always trying to help. The kid literally didn't have a selfish bone in her body which is totally unheard of for most children. He was a selfish kid. Growing up, he didn't know one that wasn't. That's what part of child is being about, always wanting and thinking you need things. Not his Madison though. No, she's always thinking about someone else, never herself.

"Wow...It's perfect, aunt Serena will love it." He told his little girl proudly, looking over at Jade. "There's someone I want you to meet Madddie..." He started, setting her feet back down to the floor. She was getting too old for him to be carrying her all the time. "This is Jade, she works here with me and she's one of the people who's been taking care of Serena all morning." Derek laughed as he watched Madison's face light up and push her hand out towards Jade to introduce herself. "I don't know about everyone else but I'm starving." Derek spoke again after a few minutes and together Madison, Jade, Carmen and himself made their way to his sisters room.

'Actually you look pretty much the same...Other than that hair'. "Somehow I know you'd comment on my hair" He told her when he found his words again.

When they were together, she always told him that he should grow his hair out. Apparently long hair was attractive on a man. He didn't think so at the time but when he came back to Port Charles after their break up, he found himself not caring about his hair anymore. He let it grow long, just like she had wanted him to, even if she wasn't around to see it. He always was a little late about doing things people wanted him to and that was a prime example.

He felt hot when she reached out and touched his hair, he could feel a spark between them and right away his body got warm. It got cold as soon as it got warm, though, as soon as she pulled her hand away. He frowne on the inside but didn't show it on the outside. He had to remain strong. Chase Alcazar did not show weakness and he wasn't about to start now. The feeling he had when she touched his hair went away as soon as she mentioned Constance with that attitude in her voice that always annoyed him. She just had to ruin the moment with her attitude, didn't she? Of course she did.

'You afraid your wife's going to find out about me'. "Let's not bring my wife into this, Taylor" He told her with that 'don't undermine me' ton in his voice. He wasn't surprised that she already found out about him being married to Constnace. She had just been in the room with Meredith and Meredith never kept anything from the girl. It would be out of character for her to keep him being married a secret from her any longer. Atleast he didn't have to tell her. That was one good thing about it.

'I didn’t come here because of you. I came here for Meredith and that’s all'. "Obviously" He commented with scoff. Why did she feel like she had to point it out to him? He knew why she was there the second he saw her. Hell would be freezing over right now if she were there to see him. 'I’ll stay out of your way'. He shook his head to that as he brought up his hand and rubbed the back of his neck. "You don't have to stay out of my way. There are actually some things we need to talk about" He wanted to explain to her his real reason behind why he divorced her so long ago. She deserved to know the truth and he was finally going to give it to her.

Jade smiled. She had heard good things about Mario's but she's never gotten any pizza from there. Since moving to PC, she's never ordered pizza full stop. That'll probably have to change. Just as Derek wondered where the babysitter and his daughter were, they had just stepped off the elevator. Derek's daughter was beautiful. She couldn't help but smile when she ran into Derek's arms. It made her wish that she had a child of her own, but she was still a little young for that, even if she was 27. Madison showed Derek the card she had made and then he introduced her to Maddie and Maddie stuck her hand out and Jade smiled and took it.
"Aw, pleased to meet you Maddie," she said and then heard Derek's voice. "I am starving too actually." she added as they walked to Serena's room.


Serena was just about to dose off when she heard her door open and she opened her eyes to see Derek, Madison, Carmen, Maddie's babysitter and Dr. Beresford come into the room. Jade had checked in on her from time to time that morning, even though she was clearly distraught over everything that had happened as much as everyone else was.
"Hey guys." she greeted as she sat up on her bed upright and smiled as Maddie ran toward her holding a card.
"Here Aunt Rena, I made you a card." she announced proudly as she handed it to her. Serena smiled and looked at it and the opened it.
"It's beautiful Maddie, thank you," she said as she gave her niece a hug. Madison then broke out of her embrace and Serena eyed the pizza. "Yay for pizza!" she exclaimed.
Serena was a huge fan of pizza. If she had alot of money, and if she was allowed to, she would live on the stuff. She had had some great ones in her time, and she had had some from Mario's before since she moved to PC and they were good also.

Taylor swallowed, ignoring the pang of jealousy she felt at him calling somebody that wasn't her, his wife. From his reaction she could only assume his wife didn't know about her. Half expecting him to let her know he wanted it to stay that way, confusion filled Taylor's eyes when he instead told her she didn't have to stay out of his way. Regardless if he wanted whats her name to find out about their history or not, she had to wonder why he wanted to talk to her at all.Wasn't it just easier on both of them if they didn't do this? Not that she didn't want to yell and scream at him for the way he left her without giving her a choice in anything. It was by far one of the worst days of her life. It happened about six months after the night he initially broke up with her.An enemy of his had snatched her and held her hostage.Chase came to her rescue and despite the awful things he had said she had known he would. After he took her home and cleaned her up she asked why he even came at all and before long they started fighting. Eventually Chase blurted out the real reason why he ended their marriage..Not because she was immature or because he didn't love her anymore like he had claimed.But because his life was too dangerous for her. After that she was puddy in his hands again and that night was the last time they made love. She woke up the next morning just as he was getting ready to leave.God..She can still remember that morning like it was yesterday.


"Your leaving again aren't you?" Taylor whispered, sitting up on the bed.

"Taylor..You know I can't stay.."

"So what? You were just going to leave without saying anything after everything, after last night?" Angry tears filled the brunette beauty's eyes. "Why not leave some money on the nightstand, that'd really complete this picture cause I have never felt more like some cheap whore than I do right now!"

Chase didn't budge. He knew she was just lashing out on impulse, hurt that he was leaving her again.

"Go! What are you waiting for? I hate you, I never wanna see you again!" Taylor yelled as chucked items off her nightstand at him, running over to him when she ran out of items to throw. "Go on leave, that's what your best at right? Go be your fathers puppet for all I care, just stay the hell away from me." She cried as she started pushing him roughly towards her door.

"Stop." Chase growled, finally grabbing her arms to restrain her. "I have to go." He told her adamantly, looking at her one more time before moving to walk to the door only to be stopped by Taylor just as he walked out of the room.

"Chase, wait.." She called out, chasing after him and stopping him right outside her bedroom. "I'm sorry..I didn't mean it. I didn't mean any of it." Taylor cried, grabbing both his arms to keep him from leaving. "I love you..I wanna go with you, I wanna be with you." She kissed him whole heartedly. "Let me come with you please.." Taylor begged.

"What are you going to do in New York?" Chase asked, using his coat sleeve to gently wipe the tears from her face.

"Be with you."

Surprised, Chase thought about it. "Yeah.." He nodded a little, a small smile coming to his face until reality sunk back in. "No..It's not safe for you. Come on, you deserve better than that kind of life. What about graduating with your friends and going to Berkley like you wanted?"

"I don't care about any of that..I care about you, I care about us."

Chase looked at her for a moment before letting go and stepping back. "3000 miles away from me and you were still in danger. I can't risk your life, I wont. We can't be together. I'm sorry but breaking ties with you is the only way I know how to protect you..I have to go." With those final words, he kissed her forehead one last time. "Don't come after me." He added before turning and walking away.

Taylor was frozen in place for a good moment or so before she chased after him, ignoring his demand. However by the time she got outside he was already in the limo, leaving Taylor standing all alone in the rain watching as the limo drove away

-End Flashback-
Hearing her name, Taylor came out of the memory quickly. "What could I possibly have to talk about with you?" She replied harshly. Remembering the last time they spoke gave her a sudden boost of strength.It was exactly what she had needed. "Okay fine. Yes Chase let's talk. How about we talk about how you broke up with me to "protect me" only to go back to New York and marry the first bimbo you saw!"Taylor exclaimed, a bitter laugh escaping her lips. "Your a hypocrite and a liar and if I never see you again.." She started through gritted teeth not breaking eye contact as she moved up closer to him. "That'll be just fine by me." As the words left her mouth she brought her heel down but Chase moved his foot back just before she could crush it. "Don't come after me." She told him sharply, using the last words he ever said to her back on him. Without waiting for him to respond, for fear her resolve would crumble if she did, Taylor turned on her heels and pushed past him, heading straight for the elevators.

I am glad to say that everything has been cleared up and I'm looking to hopefully get back into this RP. Skip Information:
Last skip we left off with the aftermath of the attack on the Blush Ball. Some people sat with friends or family at the hospital while others were learning of Caroline Corinthos’s kidnapping. Ryan and Kate are still holding Caroline in the cabin in the woods, planning where to go from there while Kate planted false evidence for Michael to find, sending the determined mob boss on a wild goose chase. Without hesitation, Michael left town a couple weeks ago to follow the lead unaware he was being set up by Kate to buy her more time to figure out her next move. Two days ago his search led him to a warehouse in Boston where he was ambushed. They knocked him out and locked him up in a padded room out in the middle of nowhere. As of now we don't yet know just who is holding Michael captive. Meanwhile back in Port Charles the police department, Paige and the rest of the Corinthos organization, and Chase are all during their part in helping to find Caroline. Tommy and Chandler are also trying to find her and now with their new PI licenses and the resources of the newly formed Spencer and Jones Investigations, they hope to have better luck. After taking some time to think about it over, Meredith agreed to move in with Cameran and for the past few weeks the two have grown closer while bonding over their newborn baby girl. Because of the dangerous happenings at the ball, Jamie also asked Laura to move in with him. Hoping for them to get closer and become like they use to be, Laura happily obliged. Wanting to wait for the right time, Constance and Chase have kept the happy news of her pregnancy to themselves for the time being but plan to tell their friends and family soon. In the meantime they've been basking in their joy together, having the type of nights they haven't had since they first got married. Chase still has Taylor on his mind but has been focusing his energy on Constance in an attempts to forget about her and the fact that she's in town. Taylor has been staying at the Metro Court for the past month, avoiding her ex at all costs. What was suppose to be a week visit, tops, ended up turning into more when the ambitious lawyer ran into an old friend who needed some legal help. While her older sister has been busy distracting herself with work because she's angry at her brother, Tess has been by Bastian's side helping him. When the young mob prince told her he wanted to sue his doctor, his sister wasted no time in seeking out Taylor's help. Since the disastrous ball, Logan and Leigha's relationship has been a little strained, but he's been too focused on helping Paige and the others in the search for Caroline to take the time to fix things. Leigha, on the other hand, has been spending more time with her family. Molly for one who was just recently released from the hospital, and Ridley, who she half expects to start down spiraling at any minute. She nots far off base either. After moving out of the penthouse she shared with Cameran almost immediately, Kristina moved into a room at the MetroCourt and has since given her two weeks notice to Jack. The death of their colleague unexpectedly brought doctors Jade and Derek closer. Since having pizza with his sister and daughter, the two doctors have started spending more and more time together, forming a friendship neither expected to have with each other. Lastly, Lainey and Sebastian talked about who his family was and who hers was and decided they didn't care. They said the hell with it and are now officially dating but Sebastian has yet to tell her about his terminal cancer.

This Skip (one month later)
Family and friends of Chase and Constance Alcazar have been invited to a party at his popular nightclub Redrum. They reserved a corner of the club for their private party and plan to share the good news of her pregnancy with their loved ones when everyone arrives. Among those on the guest list are Cameran, Meredith, Jamie, Laura, Kristina, Morgan, Molly, Lainey, Tess as well as a few others. Since they only reserved a corner the club is still open for business to the rest of the public (meaning other characters not involved with them can be there as well!) It’s a Friday night in early October. Feel free to have any of your characters anywhere, they don’t have to be at the club but can be if you want.
