Forensic Analysts

Name: Holland *Hal* Richards
Age: 47
Personality: Reserved, genius, workaholic, perfectionist, reclusive
Position: Supervisor of the Criminalistics (forensics) lab of Nevada
Bio: Hal was always catogorized as the science nerd, he never really cared though. He went through high school and graduated as Validictorian. He has always been a very gifted person, even as a child he didnt like to play with the usual toys all the other little boys would play with, he liked to play with "intellectual" things for kids. He learned how to read when he was very young and also learned how to play the piano. He loves literature and can recite Shakespeare like second nature. A private man by nature, Hal cherishes his autonomous existence. He's happy left to his books, his experiments and his thoughts. He has an astounding amount of knowledge not only in his profession but also in the arts. He loves to read and analyze everything and anything. Since he was just a boy he was always fascinated with creatures, big and small. He would perform “autopsies” on road kill and collect all kinds of bugs. He majored in Entomology (study of insects) and uses this knowledge in forensics. He has a collection of his experiments, bugs and just about anything that can be kept in a jar in his office. He was pronounced the youngest Coroner at 18.

Bio: Elliot was born and raised in Texas, he left the state when he was 16 so he doesnt have that heavey Texan accent anymore, but there are still traces of it in certain words he says. He is such a sweet guy that you would never believe he didnt have atleast a decent childhood. He had a good one until he was 12 years old, one day his nanny sexual abused him. He was torn apart, he never told his mother or anybody and instead made up a lie about his nanny so his mom would get rid of her, he told his mother that he had caught his nanny steeling in their house, his mom confronted the nanny with this and didnt deny it out of fear of Elliot talking about the truth, so she left. As he entered his teenage years he had tried to forget about what had happened and joined the high school football team, this helped him out a lot and he was also an A student. He's a very mellow guy, and doesnt like to talk about negative things so he keeps the pieces of his troubled past to himself. He always has a smile on his face and is ready to go; he loves when the adrenaline is pumping in his veins and the environment he's in. He's been in forensics for 8 years now, which have deffinetely been the best years of his life.

He wanted a job where he would want to come to work instead of sleeping in late. After graduating from school he joined the team of forensics and now loves his job. Over the years his romance has dwindled and has only been filled with one night stands and short relationships.

Bio: Adelaide was born to a single mother. Her biological father had been killed in a car accident on the way to meet her mother at the hopsital. So for many years of her life, Adelaide never had a male influence. But she felt that it allowed for more of an open kind of relationship between she and her mother. When Adelaide was around thirteen or fourteen, her mother began dating a man whom Adelaide thought was an all-around nice guy. And he was .. most of the time. But when he turned to the bottle for comfort, he became abusive and harsh. On the nights where her step-father was inebriated, you would often find Adelaide down the street at her aunt's house along with her mother. He eventually left for reasons she's still unsure of, but her mother hasn't re-married. When she was sixteen, her interest in science and forensics started to occur. She took AP courses in the sciences and excelled at them with little effort. She had a hunger for solving problems, perhaps because she couldn't quite solve the problems she had in her own life. She may have been looking for answers in her studies. She went to college and after graduation, she found the forensics team in Nevada. She felt a bit awkward at first but then settled in comfortably and loves her job.

Bio: Dorothy came from a wealthy family. She was her daddy's little angel but Dorothy has always had a hidden agenda to her. She's a wild child, straight up. She can't help it, it's just how she is. She doesn't do to much damage. She just speaks her mind and gets into trouble for it. She also ran with the bad crowd at school where she got into some bad things with alcohol and other things. She was just a kid back then and she had to learn the hard way of her actions. She never met to cause so much damage. She was just having fun. That's all. In other eye's it wasn't fun. Everyone blamed her for her parent's divorce, they were always fighting because her dad did always stick up for her. Dorothy lived in foster care for two months before getting out of that system. She hated the foster care system and was so thankful to go live with her older sisters, Lora. Dorothy dropped her ways kind of. She's still very much the same girl she was back then but she's trying to move on with her life. On some days it's easier then on others but she's trying and she has nearly stopped using the bottle, it's so hard but she's trying, she's trying to make a better life for herself

She can have a temper sometimes but doesn’t like to go off on anybody instead she goes off on her own to vent it out some how. She likes to show her capabilities and loves a challenge. She’s sarcastic and loves to crack little jokes while investigating a crime. She is extremely focused on her job she will literally stay up all night working on something, she doesn’t get much sleep. She’ll even come in to work on her days off. She's been feeling rather lonely recently because her father passed away not long ago but she doesnt like to show her pain at work. She looks forward to her job because it really gets her thinking about other things and she learns new things everyday, not only academically but also from the victims and her coworkers.

Bio: Roz grew up in Australia, where she studied Toxicology mostly focusing on snake bites. She left Australia when she was 25 years old and came to the USA because she was offered a job opportunity in the Haz Mat team (Hazard Material), she worked there for 3 years but decided to transfer to the Forensics lab because she wanted to try being outside of the ring and not in it. She applied for the position in the Trace department and was accepted because of her previous background in toxins. She doesnt deal with toxins all the time, occasionally a case will come around involving a poisoned vic and she is usually the first to get called, she has sometimes even been out in the field with the analysts, which she really enjoys. If you want to know where something came from, or what it is, she's the person to go to. Plus, she's a very optimistic and cheerful person, she makes a great friend and she'll go out of her way to help somebody out, plus she's got the cool Australian accent!

Bio: Logan was originally born in Manchester, England to wealthy parents. His father was a doctor and his mother dabbled in law, but never pursued anything professionally. She chose, instead, to stay home and take care of her children. Logan was the eldest of three; the youngest a girl and the middle another boy. He took on the role of 'eldest child' fairly well and adapted fast. There was a six year difference between he and his younger brother, and a nine year difference between he and his younger sister. His father worked virtually all the time, and Logan guesses that's where he first found his interest in science and the medical field. But because of his father's absence, Logan often had to assume the role of the father and he did it without complaint. He was just happy to see his mother smile. When he was eighteen, he began attending Oxford University and then later came to the United States for his masters. Sophomore year of college was when he decided to change his major from Physics to Biochemistry and minored in a Forensics-type class they were offering. After he came to the United States [and became an official citizen], he was told of the Forensics lab in Nevada and was it was suggested to him to try and snag a job there. He applied, and the rest is history.

Bio: Cameron is a nice guy, an honest to goodness nice guy. Ever since he was young, everyone called him a darling sweetheart. He was born into your typical American family, mom…dad….sister…brother. He was the middle child and so of course he had some issues with being ignored sometimes. He grew up being considered a geek, rather spending his afternoons doing schoolwork or researching things. He figured what he wanted to be his senior year of high school and got into a good college. That’s where he met his first girlfriend freshman year who eventually became his wife the same year. But…they were very young and she wanted different things than he did and she couldn’t handle the stress of being married. She also realized her feelings weren’t as strong as she previously thought. So she cheated on him…more than once. Cameron was willing to forgive and forget, even though it hurt him. But finally she divorced him after only a few years of marriage. Cameron has never really gotten over her and is very scared of getting into any kind of relationship, but he’s very lonely. He throws himself into his work which is his only comfort.

Bio: There is one thing about Wally that people always seem to discover and have discovered in every stage of his life, and that is that a clever and able mind lurks behind his goofy, carefree behavior. For the majority of his life, Wally has simply learned how to take any situation and find the ability to have the best time with it. Generally people have been attracted to his fun attitude, and he's always been able to analyze each person he's encountered and found just the sort of entertainment to give them the best experience. Wally is validictorian of his high school class, and at the time was even accepted into Harvard, but after much debating, he chose a smaller, in-state private school to attend. Wally's had his share of flings and short-time romances, but he's never really taken a step back (or perhaps a step forward) to think about settling down. For the most part, he's happy with his life, and people seem to be happy with him as well, perhaps sometimes annoyed by him, but generally accepting. Despite his happy-go-lucky nature, he takes his job extremely seriously, knowing that people's fates are at stake in his line of work and slip-ups are not an option.

Bio: Alfred may seem a bit intimidating when you first meet him because he seems so serious but he’s a very nice guy once you get to know him. He expresses himself in a rather discreet way but is always willing to help in any way. He has never really been a “people person” at least…not with the living. Since he was a young man he rarely went out with girls because something always ended up wrong which he was always blamed for, and who knows, maybe it was his fault; he never really acquired any social skills because he was always thinking to himself of studying something or the other. He has always been fascinated with the human body, especially when he can basically take it apart and analyze it, that’s why he obviously chose this career opposed to a physician, you cant really take a person a part then put them back together and hope they’ll be able to walk out. He has trained many coroners in his life but this time around he has 2 very young apprentices, he is amazed with their capabilities and talent because he believes an autopsy is an art, and for them to be so young and interested in such a job which basically narrows them down to working with dead people everyday, cutting most of their social life, really shows their potent. He’s a huge supporter of “hands-on” work, when there is an autopsy to be done he will let them do it while he observes and gives them opinions and/or any help they may need.

Bio: Sasha has always been a child prodigy. Her parents realized she was a genius early on and sent for the doctors and specialist right away. They studied her and sort of helped her *hone* her extremely intelligent mind. Her parents were always a bit greedy and thought of Sasha as their little *money-maker* putting her on tv specials or Oprah talk shows, showing how talented she was. She was basically forced to become the best of the best at everything she could, whether it be musical instruments or book smarts, her parents tried to create what they considered *the perfect human being* even trying to enter her into a few beauty pageants. She started college when she was 10 and finished in only a few years. It of course wasn’t your typical college, it was a specialized college for children of her caliber. But not only was she considered a genius as a child, but she was also considered a little…odd. She was always very quiet and a bit *crazy* as some people put it. She saw her first dead body when she was 8, after a convenience store robbery, she didn’t shy away, she was curious and it scared her parents when she started to become interested in dead things and the way they died. The specialist assured them it was just a phase, but then Sasha’s interest became increasingly evident. At the age of 12 she decided she wanted to be a coroner. Her parents were livid, but when she turned 18 there was nothing they could do so they cut her out of their life. She hates them for pushing her so much, but doesn't really let any of her anger out and just focuses on her work. Most people find her strange and a little creepy especially when she gets so excited over a dead body, maybe its because she doesn’t really find the *living* all that interesting or worth her time due to her parents.

Lenny grew up in Manhattan, NY where he saw crimes committed nearly everyday. He wasn’t a very good student in high school and goofed off most of the time and barely graduated, he’s a smart guy but he just didn’t do the work and never wanted to show his potent. He did drugs and drank throughout his college years not really knowing what to do with his life, he knew he wanted to do something that would keep his adrenaline high, so he spoke to a school councilor and was convinced that he wanted to become a cop. He had to clean up his act so he got help and struggled to get off the drugs and the alcohol but he finally achieved his goals, he was in the New York Police Dept. for 4 years but transferred to Nevada because he wanted to try a different environment because he was getting sick of the city. He’s been a detective for 13 years now. Oh and in the middle of all of this, he was married and divorced.

Bio: Whether or not it was ever her intention, Grace always had a tendency to stick out in a crowd for better or for worse. As a child and into her teenage years, Grace was found to be terribly intellegent with a firm grasp on common sense and a knack for building her brain's realm of knowledge. She graduated within the top twenty of her class, however her social life was anything but charmed. Grace was a self-declared individualist and styled herself in original, homemade clothing and preferred the company of animals and books to people. Her awkward behavior and oftentimes odd appearance made her peers nervous to be around her and even scorn her in the privacy of their own company. Despite rumors, Grace stayed a virgin throughout her teen years until she met Stanley Braghn at Trenton University. Their relationship lasted a year and a half, the best years, Grace will say, of her life, until one tragic night in late December when Stanley was killed in a drive-by shooting on campus. Grace was overcome with grief which only worsened after a close friend of Stanley's revealed to her that he was planning on proposing to her on Christmas Day. Only after she met Stanley did Grace ever believe that two people could be meant for each other, and in memory of her first, and only, real love, she changed her last name to Braghn. Grace finished college with a Bachelor's Degree in Forensics, and spent the next eight years working herself into the position of one of the finest detectives in the Nevada Forensics Facility. Though she has dated several times since Stanley's death, Grace has remained celebate and romantically uninclined for the past twelve years.

Although her parents showed an interest in Natashas life they never really did show a love towards their daughter. Growing up as a teenager Natasha was home most of the time by herself which led her to an alchol addiction at the age of 14. By the time Natasha had turned 20 she was an alcholic. Knowing that she didn't want this anymore she attended AA meetings and soon sobered up. After getting accepted into Yale she graduated at the top of her class and went right into being a detective.

His father was a hard edged cop. He loved his job and sometimes Gerry thought he loved the job more then he loved him but Gerry has always been fascinated by being a cop. He always wanted to protect the good and punish the bad. It was his calling. One rainy day the road was paved for him when his father was shot in a bloody gang battle. Gerry turned into a cop to make bad guys pay. He's never gotton over the death of his dad but he's moving in the right direction. She got good grades in school, she was the leader on the cheerleader team. Everything looked great for Feli. She had a great home life until one moment changed her life forever. She was walking home with her brother when she was 18. She took the suggested the back way since it was a quicker way home and she took it with her brother. They were at the wrong place at the wrong time because someone made the mistake of thinking that her brother was someone else and that person shot her brother right in the spot. She watched her brother bleed to death and as you know this has taken a heavy toll on her. She can't eat, she can't sleep. Her parents started to fight, they blamed eachother and soon they got a divorce. Feli got into drugs and started having cutting problems. She feels completely alone in this world without her brother and she is starting to blame herself. She watched her life fall to pieces around her and she hates it. She is determined to make the person pay for ruining all of their lives. She just wants to have a fractional of a normal life and move on but she thinks that's about impossible. She can never get over what happens, it'll always live with her and she's slowly dying inside. She just really wants to live for her brother. She knows that's what he wants but at times it's so hard for her to continue to hang on

Bio: Like any normal teenager of his age, Isaac is still trying to figure out exactly who he is and where he fits in to the big picture, and naturally his search for himself can sometimes get him into some trouble. Isaac grew up in a typical family environment with a father who was a dentist, and a mother who worked in a bridal shop. Isaac's life might have been a better one had his parents been around a little more often, and, to make matters worse, when they were around it always seemed to Isaac that he would be found at fault for something. In this case, his parents did of course love him, but they tended to make an unnecessary uproar out of every little thing he did wrong. Isaac has never really learned to believe in himself and disregarded whatever talents or pluses he posessed. He often tried to make himself stand out in school, but through his parents he'd also learned how to degrade a person if they ever slipped up, and, in the end, many saw him as simply a bully. His one weakness is women. Isaac will always give credit to a pretty girl he sees, and in some recess of his mind there is a part of him that almost believes himself to be God's gift to women. Recently he's been trying hard to turn himself around and show another side of himself to people, but he's so close to crumbling under the pressure of acting "cool" and "unaffected" that he is filled with irritation and angst over himself. His friends are mostly made up of the crazy loud guys at school and the girls who like him simply because they think he's cute, but it would be nice to have someone to just simply talk to and feel heard.

her name is quite ironic, considering that when there is harmony in her life, she tries to ruin it. When she was younger, she was a ballerina. A cute, well known very talented ballerina. She was accepted into the Nevada Dancing Arts school at age 15 making her one of the youngest to be accepted into there. Though her personality didn't really match with her love of dancing, she out-lashed on other people and was constantly lying. She was extremely intelligant in things that she loved to do, criminal arts was one of them. Though english was another one of them, she wanted to either be a writer or a dancer when she was older. Thoes were two of her passions. But then going agaisnt the law started at a early age, stealing simple lipglosses from the local grocery store or taking a new CD from the local music store down the street. Though she went into a crowd that was like her, they didn't call each other friends, they were called partners. She learned from them, i guess people would call them a gang. They turned into a gang, though no one ever really expected Harmony to be into one, she was the daughter of one of the well respected lawyers in the town. They never actually knew she was in a gang until she got arrested one night for breaking into a elite store and taking the new Louis Vuitton handbag. Every girl needs a Louis handbag, why couldn't she have two? Her father sent her away as soon as he found out all the after school activites that she was up to. Though even the insitute that she was put into couldn't handel her. She seduced her guard and she snuck away from him. Though now she's allowed to live on her own, since she didn't really do any damage other than shoplifting and break and entry. Though she's still on the suspect, because once someone does something to backstab her she'll do anything to get them back. She's one cold hearted bitch that no one should mess with.

Bio: It's no wonder why Emery is the way he is and why he has a record of getting into trouble which is about country wide. Emery never had a easy life to start with and it's really no wonder why he's the way he is. Emery was born into poverty. His parents, Sophia and James were both unweds who never really loved each other. Emery was a mistake that neither of them really planned for but they never moved on with their lives. They stayed together and cheated on eachother through Emery's life. They had nothing to do with their son. His mother was a herione addict prostitute while his father was a abusive alcoholic. Many of nights Emery went to sleep hungry. It's surprising that he managed to survive his younger years but it's thanks to his older half brother, Clint and the half middle sister, Charlie. You see Emery was the youngest child and he was the only child born out of Sophia and James. He got along wonderfully with Clint and Charlie. Along with his siblings, Emery got physically and emotionally abused by their parents.He got kicked out of every school he attended for getting into fights and selling drugs. Trouble has always seemed to follow him and he's never been able to keep a job long enough. That took it's toll on Emery and it's something that he can't simply get over he. He has some anger issues and he's been known to act on them. He's impulsive and he doesn't think about things. He doesn't have the best judgement. He has taken abuse for so long in his life now he's a lose cannon ready to snap. He isn't really a bad guy, at all. It's just pressing his buttons and he has so many shields up but if he trusts you and like you, he'll be loyal to you. No doubt but if you screw him over, you better watch your back because he'll be making every moment of your life a living hell and he'll also turn on the people you care about to get back at you. That's how he is but he's not really a bad guy. This is what he knows, this is how he lives, he wishes he can change but he simply can't, this is the only thing he knows

Bio: Anita Dunlavy. That is Delilah's birth name and the name that she left behind when she took her current job... but more on that later. In her youth, the young Anita was, well, nothing really worth mentioning. She was a victim of growing up on the wrong side of the tracks, and it showed. Many times she was simply out on the town, doing bars, nightclubs, or possibly even hotel rooms, and show up an hour or so before sun-up. Her grades in school were poor for a lack of really trying, and at any point in her teen years was she at least 100 pounds overweight. For her, college wasn't even an option as her family worked for minimum wage and her grades were not even close to scholarship material. As she reached her twenties she began to become overly aware of her figure, and so she gave herself a real goal to finally become fit. This she tried by a simple work-out which she found useless, then by simple dieting which she felt got her nowhere, and finally she resorting to starving herself which, hey, she told herself, saves her money anyways. After not even month she had reached a normal weight, but was so sickly that she was taken to the hospital to put nutrients back into her system. A care center was recommended to her to fully restore her energy and maintain a healthy dieting system, but alas she didn't have the money for such an institution. She nolonger starves herself, but this last incident permenently weakened her immune system, and now she frequently gets out of breath or is sometimes prone to coughing fits. Within the last year she took a job as a dancer at a local nightclub, the Cafe Risque, changing her name to Delilah Van Rosetti, and making a little over $200 a month which is more than she's ever made in her life.

Bio: Sasha has always been a child prodigy. Her parents realized she was a genius early on and sent for the doctors and specialist right away. They studied her and sort of helped her *hone* her extremely intelligent mind. Her parents were always a bit greedy and thought of Sasha as their little *money-maker* putting her on tv specials or Oprah talk shows, showing how talented she was. She was basically forced to become the best of the best at everything she could, whether it be musical instruments or book smarts, her parents tried to create what they considered *the perfect human being* even trying to enter her into a few beauty pageants. She started college when she was 10 and finished in only a few years. It of course wasn’t your typical college, it was a specialized college for children of her caliber. But not only was she considered a genius as a child, but she was also considered a little…odd. She was always very quiet and a bit *crazy* as some people put it. She saw her first dead body when she was 8, after a convenience store robbery, she didn’t shy away, she was curious and it scared her parents when she started to become interested in dead things and the way they died. The specialist assured them it was just a phase, but then Sasha’s interest became increasingly evident. At the age of 12 she decided she wanted to be a coroner. Her parents were livid, but when she turned 18 there was nothing they could do so they cut her out of their life. She hates them for pushing her so much, but doesn't really let any of her anger out and just focuses on her work. Most people find her strange and a little creepy especially when she gets so excited over a dead body, maybe its because she doesn’t really find the *living* all that interesting or worth her time due to her parents.

Ok I added my other characters, I just need to make my last girl, so that'll come tomorrow and if anyone wants to take an extra girl you guys can feel free to take my girl if you want, just let me know.
I made a slight change, I added the position of the coroner under specialists, oh and also you guys can double up on the positions in the lab techs, like we can have more than one DNA analyst. Oh and detectives, we need partners so if you want to start claiming go for it, theres only 5 right now I would like there to be an even number so we can all have partners.
