| The Feud - a PYOC role play [started!] The Feud Southold, New York. Upstate, upscale, and full of people who want to run it. Decades ago, Southold was a low class, run down town. There was nothing much there to fight for, and it was the perfect place for Robert Callahan to start his family business. Granted, it was not a business most would look up to, the business brought money into the town, and began to slowly build it as a bustling city. The Callahan family built the town back from being run down, cleaning up not only the town, but the people in it. The Callahan family business is simply put: the mob. The difference in the Callahan family is that they refuse to market drugs. They never wanted to touch that, but more dealt with firearms and importing of black marketed goods. They put up a front of coffee importing, setting up shops all over town and New York. This gives them a free port to bring in business from several different countries. No one was going to go up against the Callahan family, because more than they were a crime family, they were the ones who built the city to be what it was. Enter the McPherson family. A family originating from Miami, Florida, they wanted to take over the territory of the Callahan family. They figured if they brought in enough force, they wouldn't have much to worry about. They did not expect for the Callahan family to be so strong. They've cornered the drug marketing, but want it all. The two families have fought for dominance, which has left the town torn between the two families. There is a rare middle ground between them all. The feud has been going on for nearly six decades, and the now leaders of each family are sick of waiting for the other to give in. This generation has surely proven to be the most brutal in fighting, but neither one is willing to give an ounce of leniency to the other. Places of Interest in Southold
The Callahan Family [Children of Robert and Evelyn Callahan. Robert was said to be the most ruthless and strongest leader of the Callahan family to date. Robert retired ten years ago, turning the business over to his oldest son who he'd groomed since he was young to take over.] Christian Callahan Age: 40 History: Christian took over the family business when his father got too old to run it. He is, to put it bluntly, "the boss". Everyone answers to him. Christian grew up idolizing his father. He wanted to be just like him, and he grew up to be exactly what he wanted. He prides himself on running a tighter business than his father. Connection to the Family: He is the leader of his family. He oversees everything that goes on in the business. Relationships: Christian is civil with his ex-wife Emily for their daughter's sake, and because she always seems to be around. He likes to keep a playful banter up with Maxine, but maybe just because she could take him down if she gets too close. When he first started to see Kallie, their relationship was strictly physical, but as time went on, he found himself thinking of her all the time. A year ago he asked her to move in with him. The two are pretty much inseparable, and she accepts all aspects of his business. Business is always a high priority, but his top priority is always his daughter, Eve. He will always make time for her. He's closest with his siblings Rebecca and Scott, and of course his best friend Andrew. He's taken his cousin Jacob under his wing, teaching him the ins and outs of the business while he's living with him. Played By: Julian McMahon  Taken By: pezzie Rebecca Callahan Age: 36 History: The second oldest of the family, Rebecca knew from a young age that once you're in the family, your destiny is pre-designed for you. Nevertheless, she insisted on going through school, and went on through law school. She and her husband run the family law firm, which many of the Callahan family work at. She is a hard worker who always has her family's best interest at heart. Connection to the Family: Sister to Christian. She runs the law firm that deals with all of the family business. Relationships: One of the few Callahan's that actually have a working marriage, Rebecca has been married to Logan for the past nine years. They fight a lot over the family law firm, but they always get over it. Rebecca is closest to her older brother, and also remains close to his ex-wife Emily. She's close with her cousins Sandra and Lilly, but she and her sister don't really get along much. Her daughter Lauren is her whole world, and she is extremely protective of her. Played By: Famke Janssen  Taken By: ChaChaPrincess Scott Callahan Age: 27 History: The third of the family, Scott has always looked up to his older brother. The two have been tight their whole lives, despite the difference in their ages. Scott was always quite the bad-ass in high school, and he used his family's name to intimidate others. He's not a bad guy, it's just the way he is. He always knew he'd become somewhat of an enforcer in the family. Connection to the Family: Brother to Christian. He is the 'muscle' of the family. If there is someone who needs to be taken care of, Scott is the man to do it. Relationships: Scott has never really been a big believer in lasting relationships. He's gone so far as to have a drunken night with Grace McPherson, actually the night before her wedding. They'd always had a flirting thing going on, and that was the night they acted on it. He slept with Andrea McPherson once, and regretted that, not wanting to get even that close to the rival family. He met Carly when she moved to town a couple years ago, and he's stayed with her, she might be the first girl he could actually fall in love with. Scott is closest to his twin sister Abby. He seems to be the only one of her siblings that really gets her. Blame the twin-connection. He's close with his older siblings, and really gets along with most people in the family. He loves his little cousin Jacob, and wants to teach him all he knows. He's close with his cousin Richard, and appreciates him taking off a lot of the pressure of his job. He kind of resents that Andrew has a place in the family, since he's not blood. Played By: Tom Welling  Taken By: The Survivor Abbigail Callahan Age: 27 History: Abby was the baby of the family, even if she was only a few minutes behind Scott. She grew up being protected by all of her family, and the only one of her siblings she could even get very much understanding from was Rebecca. Once she hit her teenage years, she was out to prove she could be in the business just as much as anyone else. She started out doing little cons here and there, but has grown to prove she's one of the best assets the family has. Connection to the Family: Sister to Christian. Abby is a bit of a con-artist. She can get information out of people and get them to do things they normally wouldn't. Abby works any angle she can. Relationships: Abby never was one to jump into long-lasting relationships. She never particularly wanted one. She'd always flirt with Andrew, but she never acted on that because he's her older brother's best friend. A month ago they acted on their feelings. They've managed to keep it a secret, and hope they will be able to continue to do so. She's closest with her twin brother Scott, he seems to be the only one of her siblings who understands her. She's probably closest with her cousin Kylie, as the two of them work together a lot. She's remained close with Christian's ex-wife Emily, and really doesn't like his new girl, Kallie. She gets along really well with her cousin Isabel as the two of them were practically raised together. She really likes Scott's girlfriend Carly, and how she really seems to make Scott happy, which is a rarity. Played By: Evangeline Lilly  Taken By: StarliteParadise - [Children of Jack and Rachel Callahan. Jack was the younger brother of Robert, and second in command to his older brother. Rachel always made a point to raise her children in high society, always keeping up appearances with the richest families in town. Jack retired with his brother, letting his children decide for themselves whether or not to continue with the business.] Sandra Callahan Age: 30 History: Sandra was raised in the more high society family of the Callahans. Always out at the most prestigious parties, attending the highest end schools, Sandra and her siblings grew up very much in the spotlight. If nothing else, Sandra has learned how to keep up appearances. While most know the Callahan family as a notorious crime family, she brings out the best of the name, always painting a far cleaner picture than the reality of their family. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. She owns a restaurant in town where most of the Callahan business is conducted. Relationships: Sandy has always taken it on as her job to look out for her siblings. As the oldest, she figures it is her responsibility. She married Dean nearly seven years ago, going completely against the "wishes" of her cousin Christian. He's a police officer and that could hurt the family, so they said. She'd known him since they were teenagers, and she knew he'd never deliberately hurt her family. He's been pushing her to start a family, but she has serious reservations about bringing children into this family. Sandy is closest to her older cousin Rebecca. The two have been close since they were kids. She's grown to really like her cousin Christian's girlfriend, Kallie. She never really liked Emily. Played By: Jennifer Garner  Taken By: ChaChaPrincess Jackson Callahan Age: 26 History: Jackson grew up idolizing his uncle, always wanting to be on the more exciting side of the family business. He grew up the son of a business man, and learned to contribute to the family in that way. While sometimes he does wish he could feel a bit of the rush of the more internal affairs of the business, he mainly stays content doing his work. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. He runs the foreign affairs section of the family business. When affairs need to be taken care of with out of country associates, Jack is the one to make sure everything goes smoothly. Relationships: Jack was raised to always be a gentleman, and to always respect women. His high school girlfriend, Riley, has been the love of his life, so when he asked her to marry him two years ago, it seemed like the most natural thing. She had reservations of marrying so young, but he promised to never stand in the way of whatever career she'd want. He made promises to her that sometimes feel really hard to abide by. He's closest with his cousins Richard and Evan, even though he knows that scares his wife because of their far more dangerous job. One cousin he seems to always go to when he has a problem is Isabel. She just gets him like no one else. Played By: James Franco  Taken By: JillyHalliwell Claire Callahan Age: 22 History: Claire is the total sweetheart of the family. She prides herself on being very close with her family, even though that is not hard to do in the Callahan family. She brings a kindness that has been desperately needed in the family. While breaking the law is not something she'd normally condone, it is her family, and what they do is not who they are. Claire is fiercely loyal to her family, and would do anything for them. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. She just finished college, and is now entering law school. She will eventually join the family firm. Relationships: Claire has an air about her that is very royal. She was raised the princess of the family, and whatever boyfriends she had seemed to have only been attracted to the power that her family held. Her high school boyfriend, Wyatt, was a perfect example. The two dated for three years, in which time she felt used to just get to her family. She doesn't want that again. She met Tyler McPherson when she was in the wrong place at the very wrong time. He was there to carry out a hit for the family, and ended up saving her life from the gunfire of the other people. She cost him his target while he saved her life. The two tried to deny any feelings for each other, but lately it has been harder. They knew if they went there and their family were to ever find out about them, they'd be ripped apart by any means necessary. Claire is closest to her cousin Kylie. She tends to go to her whenever she needs advice. She's grown really close with her brother's wife Riley, and remains close with her high school friend, Wendy. The three of them are like the three musketeers, only girls. Played By: Chyler Leigh  Taken By: Impressions James Callahan Age: 17 History: While James isn't officially in the family business yet, he wants to get in as soon as he's done with high school. Education is big in the Callahan family, and he knows he wouldn't be considered for anything if he didn't at least finish high school. James always seems to be getting into trouble, but is always careful not to get into too much trouble so as to jeopardize his future with the family business. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. Relationships: James has been attracted to Marissa since he was in middle school. He wants to ask her out, but doesn't want to intimidate her by his family name. He tends to always go to his cousin Jacob when he needs advice. Jacob is just getting into the family business, and James wants to follow in his footsteps. He's really close with his second cousin, Eve. The two have grown up together for the most part, and he's always looking out for her. Played By: Ricky Ullman  Taken By: SummerNights - [Children of Jason and Sydney Callahan. Jason was the youngest brother of the prior Callahan family, and the enforcer/hit man for their family. He tried to protect his family from the harsher realities of the business.] Lillianna Callahan Age: 33 History: Lilly has always grown up to respect the law, even if her family tends to skirt around it. When the time came for her to decide whether or not she wanted to be involved with the family business, she decided to take a job with the police department. She is a detective there, and while she appears on all fronts to be in line with the law, she always makes sure to look out for her family, even if that means not abiding the law in which she swore to uphold. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. Lilly works for the police department. Relationships: Lilly's relationships have not always ended very well. She finds it hard to get with someone who isn't intimidated by her family. Nearly five years ago she saw Michael McPherson in a bar. Instead of turning and leaving, she ended up getting completely drunk with him. The two slept together and never spoke of it since. She's ashamed of it, thinking she's betrayed her family with a mistake. For the past five years, she's been partnered with Peter at the police department. The two have been on again-off again since college, but she is afraid to get into anything deeper with him, figuring she'll just get hurt again. Lilly is closest with her cousin Rebecca, the two having been raised literally next door to each other. She always takes it upon herself to look out for her little sister Isabel, and hopes to help her find some direction in life. She's gotten to be pretty good friends with her cousin Christian's girlfriend Kallie. She likes who he is around her. Played By: Kate Beckinsale  Taken By: ~*~Hopeless Romantic~*~ Richard Callahan Age: 27 History: Richard always grew up being a tough guy. He'd get into fights at school, mainly because people would insult his family, and that he would not tolerate. He got suspended several times from school, but managed to get out fairly unscathed. His position as a body guard for his family came almost naturally. While he's always around to make sure his cousin Christian is safe, he's very protective over everyone else in his family, and is constantly looking out for them. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. Richard is a bodyguard for his cousin, Christian. Relationships: Richard was never one to date much. He figured the family business was always more important, and it wasn't fair to ask someone to jump head-first into the family. He's hooked up with his cousin's friend Wendy a couple of times, but again wouldn't want to put her in danger. He also wouldn't want to make his cousins feel weird at him dating their friend...but he can't really control the way he's starting to feel about her. Richard is closest with his brother Evan. The two have always been close when they weren't fighting. He's really tight with his cousin Jack, even though Jack's wife Riley doesn't like him much. He really likes his cousin's husband Dean, even if he is a cop. His sister's a cop, he can get over it. Played By: Brandon Routh  Taken By: eyelash wishes. Isabel Callahan Age: 26 History: Isabel has always been a free spirit. She grew up without knowing of any fear brought on by the family business. She always felt safer because of it, knowing that she had cousins and siblings that would always take care of her. Isabel has worked a number of jobs, ranging from waitressing to even stripping. She always manages to come out a stronger person because of the trouble she gets herself into. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. Isabel is always seeming to get into trouble. While she has no official role in the family, she's always around when needed. Relationships: Isabel has dated too many guys to count. It seems like every week she'd have another guy on her arm. She dated Cameron seriously for a while, but he was always seeming to look past her at Katie McPherson. She dumped him before he had the chance to. The latest guy to catch her eye is the new bartender in the pub downtown, Cain. She tends to go into the bar often just to flirt with him. She can tell he wants her, but wouldn't give him the benefit of knowing she wants him just as much. Isabel is closest with her cousin Abby. The two are very much alike. She's also close with her cousin Jack. The two get each other probably more than anyone else in their family. She always liked Christian's wife Emily, and the two have remained relatively close since Emily's divorce from her cousin. She cannot stand Jack's wife Riley. As far as Isabel is concerned, she isn't good enough for her beloved cousin. Played By: Charisma Carpenter  Taken By: JillyHalliwell Evan Callahan Age: 25 History: A man of few words, Evan was always a quiet one growing up. He was strong and quiet, never getting in the way of people or making himself known. As he grew older, he became interested in boxing and athletics, and by the time he graduated high school, he wanted to contribute to the family business. He is very protective over his family, and he sees his job as just another level of protection, rather than meaningless killing. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. Evan is one of the enforcers of the family, alongside his cousin Scott. Relationships: There has always only been one girl in Evan's eyes. Sarah Wilson. He's been in love with her for as long as he can remember. Because he's rather a quiet guy, she probably never knew. He watched her date boys from his family and from the McPherson families, but had never asked her out. Lately the two have been spending a lot more time together, and he wants to tell her how he feels...but he doesn't want to appear weak. If the two of them were to finally get together, he'd want her to give up any friends from the McPherson family. He can't have that. Evan is closest with his brother Richard and cousin Jack. The three of them have been tight since they were kids. He doesn't really like Jack's wife Riley, only because she seems to look down on them. He never craved attention, or wanted it even. Ryan grew up with the knowledge of where his life was headed exactly. He was going to go into the family business. Now that the time has come that he's finished with high school, he just wants to get where his life has been heading all this time. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. He's just graduated high school and is looking to jump right into the family business. Relationships: Ryan has dated plenty of girls, but never allowed himself to get too deep with any of those girls. His first priority always has to be his family. The new girl in town, Shelly Edrington has caught his eye. The two of them see each other every now and then, and he almost hates how he gets around her, like he can't speak properly. She's the sister of Jean Edrington, whom he knows is engaged to one of the McPherson cousins. He doesn't know if he should risk going after her. Ryan is closest with his cousin Jacob and he's always idolized his cousin Christian. His favorite cousin has always been Scott. The two are really alike and get along really well. Their parents tried to protect them from all of that. Karen was murdered three years ago by the McPherson family, picked as the easiest target to wound the Callahan family. Mark moved out of town, unable to deal with the pain of being in the town that cost him his wife.] Mason Adams Age: 34 History: As the oldest son of the only daughter of the prior Callahan family, Mason was raised on a far more gentler side of the crime family. His mother wanted out of the business, and tried to reflect on her children the dangers of being in the business. Mason honored his mothers wishes to an extent. He became a doctor, a surgeon, and while he is mainly out of the family business, he makes sure that his family is taken care of medically. If bullet wounds on victims are caused by members of his family, he makes sure that any evidence isn't found. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. He is a doctor at the private hospital in town. Relationships: Mason had always really liked his cousin's wife Emily. Correction: he was completely in love with her from the first time he saw her. He didn't understand how someone so intelligent and beautiful could fall for his oldest cousin, but he never did or said anything. When the two got divorced, he was the shoulder for Emily to cry on. She finally saw him for who he was, and the two fell hard for each other. Christian still doesn't know, but Mason won't be the one to tell him. Mason is pretty close with his cousin's husband Dean. He's a cool guy, and he commends Sandy for actually marrying the cop. He's close with a paramedic, Shane, who always is looking out for his family. He likes the new bar tender in town, Cain, who seems to be a really cool guy. Played By: Eric Dane  Taken By: Broadways Buffy Kylie Adams Age: 22 History: Kylie grew up a complete angel, always looking up to her parents. That was until her mother was murdered by the McPherson family. They picked the weakest member of the Callahan family to make an example of. Since then, all she's wanted to do was join the family, work any angle to get against the McPherson family. She's been working cons with Abby, but wants to move to something more proactive than that. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. She has just gotten in touch with the head Callahan family, working cons with her cousin Abby. Relationships: Kylie was ever the perfect daughter growing up, and the perfect angel had the perfect boyfriend in Hunter. He was going to be a cop, she figured she'd contently be the wife of a cop, staying away from the family business. When her mother was murdered, she didn't know who she was, and Hunter wasn't there for her like she wanted him to be. She broke up with him. The two just didn't see eye to eye anymore. Sometimes she thinks she still loves him, but knows that is silly. The first boyfriend she had once she got in touch with her far more wild side was Noah. She always kept him at a distance, because she didn't want to get hurt again like when she left Hunter. As soon as she started to fall in love with him she dumped him, telling him never to contact her again. Hard thing to do in a little town like Southold. She still finds herself missing him more often than she'd like. Kylie has gotten really close with her older cousin Abby since the two have started 'working' together. Her best friends will always be her cousin Claire and her childhood friend Wendy. She can trust them to never abandon her, no matter what she does. Played By: Erica Durance  Taken By: ~*~Hopeless Romantic~*~ Jacob Adams Age: 17 History: Jacob never wanted in on the family business. He was content to go to school, go to college, live his life out in peace. His world was shattered when his mother was murdered. His father offered for him to leave town with him, but he wanted to stay. He told his father he wouldn't be run out of town by the McPherson family. He moved in with his uncle Christian, and is planning on joining the fight against the McPherson family as soon as they let him. Connection to the Family: Cousin to the original Callahan Family. He's got one year left of high school, and then hopes to join the family business. Relationships: Since moving in with his oldest cousin Christian, he's been spending a lot of time around Andrew's daughter Megan. The two get along really well, and he's starting to really care about her. He doesn't want to jeopardize his place in the family business, but he really wants to be with her. Andrew is Christian's best friend, so he doesn't want to hurt that relationship by pursuing a relationship with Megan. Jacob is closest with his cousins Ryan, James, and Scott, but he will always be closest to Christian. He feels like he owes him a lot for taking him in. He doesn’t get along at all with his older brother Mason, who just doesn't understand why the business is so important to him. Played By: Jared Padalecki  Taken By: StarliteParadise - Emily Callahan Age: 37 History: Emily was the perpetual on-again, off-again girlfriend of Christian all throughout their teenage years. Their marriage was almost more inevitable than wanted. The two were married for five years before getting a divorce, also an inevitability due to each of their well known affairs. They stay civil for their daughter, and Emily still co-owns the family restaurant with Sandra. Connection to the Family: First wife of Christian Callahan. Since the divorce she has stayed involved with the family. Relationships: Emily was burned by Christian, or at least likes to play that she was. She knew they had been growing apart, but just didn't want to be the one to admit it. He was always off with his mistress Kallie, whom she would love to get the chance to get back at. She has remained civil with Christian over the years for the sake of their daughter. She denied feeling anything for Christian's cousin Mason, but after the divorce, she fell hard for him. They'd been friends for years, and being with him felt so natural. She knows that if their relationship were to get back to Christian, it would probably anger her, because once you are with Christian, you are "his" forever. She doesn't care though, Mason makes her feel happier than anyone else has. Emily is still really close with some of the Callahan family, namely Rebecca, Isabel, and Abby. They have all stood by her throughout her life, and she sees them as sisters as well as friends. She made some enemies while in the Callahan family, but she doesn't give them the time of day anymore. Emily is an extremely devoted mother to her daughter Eve, and at least she is the one thing she and Christian can agree on. Played By: Amanda Peet  Taken By: The Survivor Andrew Oleson Age: 38 History: Andrew grew up envying the Callahan family. Not because of the business, but because of the tightness of the family. He and Christian became good friends when they were young, and he became pretty much an honorary member of the family. He never asked, but was offered a job working for the family. He is one of Christian's most trusted confidants, and can always be counted on. Connection to the Family: Best friends with Christian Callahan since grade school. He's the only person who is not a direct member of the Callahan family that has been allowed into the business. Relationships: Andrew never understood why Abby was made to feel like a sort of outcast among her own siblings. He's always been a friend to her, and took the time to get to know her. She's complex yes, but no more than the rest of the family. He's been in love with her since high school, but because of his respect for Christian, he never acted on his feelings. He dated someone else in high school and eventually married her, but his heart was always longing for Abby. Nearly a month ago the two found each other out at the pier. A place when they were teenagers he stole a kiss from her [to which she slapped him across the face]. This kiss didn't end in a slap, but ended in a culmination of years of pining after each other. He's completely in love with her, but doesn't want to make things more difficult for her in the family. There's also his daughter to think about. When his wife died, he became incredibly protective over his daughter Megan. He doesn't want anything to happen to her, especially because of what he does. Andrew has always been the confidant of Christian, and the two are more like brothers than friends. He knows some of the family doesn't like him because he's technically an 'outcast', but he feels he's earned his place. He's tight with Logan and Evan, both of whom have always accepted him as part of the family. He knows that Scott doesn't like him, and the two have had words over it on more than one occasion. Played By: Victor Webster  Dean Williams Age: 32 History: Dean has known the Callahan family since he moved to town nearly twenty years ago. He was smitten with Sandra since he met her in high school, yet it wasn't until college that he finally asked her out. Her family never intimidated him, and when he married her, he fully accepted her family. He does his best not to let his job get in the way of being "in" the family. Connection to the Family: Married to Sandra Callahan. He is an officer with the police department. Relationships: Most men in Dean's position would find it hard to accept a woman like Sandra's family. When he married her, he accepted all of her and her family. He tries really hard to put any investigations going on with her family in someone else's hands, because he does want to do his job, just not when it interferes with his wife and her family. They've been married for seven years, and he wants so badly to be a father. He knows Sandy is holding back for some reason, but he doesn't want to pressure her more by talking about it. Dean has become pretty close with most of her family, mainly Richard and Mason. Mason he likes a lot because he's found a good balance between the family and his own life. Dean works with Lilly, so he sees her a lot, but the two don't talk much other than at work. He knows Christian doesn't like him, and he's not about to try to prove himself just because Christian thinks he is all powerful. Played By: Michael Vartan  Taken By: Impressions Logan Parker Age: 37 History: Logan met Rebecca twelve years ago when he moved to town after finishing law school. A hot-shot young lawyer, he caught the eye of Rebecca Callahan. With the understanding that their dealings would not entirely run in line with the law, Logan was made full partner in the firm. The two married three years later, and he legally adopted her daughter. He now co-owns the firm with his wife. Connection to the Family: Married to Rebecca Callahan. The two run the family law firm together. Relationships: It would be very easy to say that Logan got close to Rebecca to streamline his career. When he first started dating her that was exactly what he was doing. He knew how powerful the Callahan family was, and he knew he'd be set for life with their family. He was cocky and obnoxious, and she wanted nothing to do with him. That all changed when she saw a much softer side of him. The two fell in love, and while they still fight all the time, they have grown to accept and love each other. Marrying him was the most right thing she'd done. They have accepted her into the family, and likewise she's accepted them as her own family. She looks out for Julie, who she knows has a hard time feeling like she fits in sometimes. He hated every Callahan that he's ever met, so he wanted into the other side of the feud. When he met Grace, she was someone who wouldn't put up with his crap. Manipulation is not the way to get into the McPherson family, but apparently love is. Connection to the Family: Married to Grace McPherson. He is a hit man for the family. Relationships: Grace was someone that Danny thought he could manipulate. She was gorgeous and smart, but he still fully believed that there was something about her that would believe anything he told her. He couldn't have been more wrong. She was witty and bright, and someone who challenged him. He fell hard for her when he didn't expect it. He married her for all the right reasons, and none of the wrong ones. Lilah is nice enough, but Reagan thinks she is hiding something, and that she's not good enough for her dad. Regan is just entering college, but plans to stay at home. | Other People in Southold Maxine "Max" Watson Age: 34 History: Max grew up around the McPherson and Callahan families. She knows what they are capable of. She joined the police academy after college, and has finally gotten a promotion into the FBI, which is still unknown around town. She wants to take down the Callahan and McPherson families before someone else gets killed. Connection to the Family: She knows them all well, having grown up in the same town, but her job is to get rid of the violence the families create in town. Relationships: Maxine indulges in a little harmless flirting with Christian Callahan, because she's come to learn that is the kind of man he is. If she can get him to let his guard down around her, that works for her. She keeps seeing Mark when she's not purposefully out to watch him, and tries to deny how attracted to him she is. Her job comes first...or so she keeps telling herself. Maxine doesn't have many friends in town. When she met Christian, she was insanely attracted to him, and it wasn't long before the two of them started an affair. She felt slightly bad once she found out he was married, but by then she was so in love with him, and he explained that his marriage had been over for years - just not legally, she got over it for the most part. She was just always his friend. While she's pretty laid back about a lot of things, she really worries about his job in the family business. She knows he sometimes helps out with the more violent edge of the family business, and doesn't want to be woken up one night with a phone call telling her he's been killed. Connection to the Family: She's dated a few of the boys from either family, but has remained a friend of both the McPherson and Callahan families. Relationships: Sarah dated Adam back a few years ago, much to her best friend Evan's dismay. She knew he hated the McPherson family, and part of the reason she started going out with Adam was to get under Evan's skin. She was sick of always being stuck in the 'friends' zone with him. Hannah is in college, studying law. She wants to take down the Callahan family any way she can. Connection to the Family: Hannah's father was killed by mistake by the Callahan family. She's gotten close with some of the McPherson family, and wants to make sure they pay for what they did to her family. Relationships: Hannah has hated every member of the Callahan family she's met. She doesn't care how nice they may be, her father was killed by one of them, it doesn't matter to her that it was an accident. She's been dating Patrick for a couple of months, he seems to really care for her and understand what she's been going through, which she appreciates. When he came back after college, he was a very different man, and took no crap from either the Callahan or McPherson families. He joined the police force and has since been promoted to detective. Connection to the Family: Police officer working to bring down the families, on-again, off-again of Lilly Callahan. Relationships: Peter has been in love with Lilly Callahan since college. The two always manage to get back together after a time apart, but so far they haven't found the right way to make it last. Their love is just very complicated, especially because her family tends to get in the way of their work. Peter is pretty good friends with Lilly's cousin Logan, who he does a lot of work with in the legal system. He just tries to stay away from having to take on cases involving the Callahan family. He poured enough money into the business of running the hotel. He plans on staying around for quite some time. Connection to the Family: He co-owns and manages the biggest hotel in the city with Allie McPherson. Relationships: When Liam met Allie, he was going to strictly be her business partner. He didn't expect for her to be the bright, intelligent woman, especially coming from the infamous McPherson family. He has asked her out many times, but she always seems to find some reason to put him off. He knows she's just denying how she is feeling for him, and he wants to prove to her that while he enjoys the playful banter they often engage in, he is capable of something more serious. He is an excellent bar tender, and has been working at one of the more well known bars in town. Liam has been trying to get him to come work at his big fancy hotel, but that kind of place isn't his style. He much prefers the less 'classy' places where he can wear what he want and give drinks to people who actually might need a safe place to drown their sorrows. Connection to the Family: He doesn't have much of a connection personally to the families. He works at the bar where much of their business is conducted. He just looks the other way when it comes to that. Relationships: Cain has always been a habitual flirt. He can't help it, he's just charismatic that way. He loves to flirt with Carly, the girl who works at the bar with him, but knows she has a boyfriend...but he has no problem being a rebound relationship if need be. He enjoys the company of Isabel Callahan, and can't help but notice just how attracted he is to her, not only physically, but to her personality. Connection to the Family: He's dated a couple of the McPherson girls, but mostly has been with Katie Reynolds. He's learned to be invisible around the family. Relationships: Cameron has dated around a bit, namely with Samantha McPherson and Isabel Callahan. He and Isabel didn't part on the best of terms, but he's still pretty close with Samantha. While Cameron didn't date too seriously with Sam or Isabel, he has been intrigued by Katie. They've worked together since he's been in town, and something about her makes him want to be better than he is. He's not used to that, but he likes her a lot. Cameron is closest with Liam and Hunter, both guys who are pretty similar to him and more or less on the better side of the law when it comes to the ridiculous feud. He has been helping with the investigation on the Callahan and McPherson family for the past two years. He wants to clean up the city from all the bloodshed the families create. Relationships: Hunter always thought he would be in love with Kylie. She was the perfect girl, growing into the perfect woman, for him anyway. When her mom was murdered, he didn't know how to comfort or handle her. Apparently she didn't know how to handle it either - she completely changed and the two of them grew so far apart. He no longer sees the sweet innocent girl in her that he fell in love with. Hunger has been spending a lot of time around Reagan McPherson lately, and while she's a lot younger than he is, he enjoys her company. She's a sweet kid, and even though he sometimes thinks of her as a bit more than a friend, he tries to push those thoughts away. Hunter is good friends with Cameron and Wyatt, two guys that in a town like this, thankfully seem to stay out of the crime as much as possible. Connection to the Family: Wyatt is a friend of the McPherson family. He helps out on the legal staff while he's in law school. Relationships: Growing up around the families, Wyatt was always around the beautiful girls the family has. He dated Claire Callahan for three years during high school, but while he loved her, there has always been one girl that has always been above the others: Ashley. He's just been smitten with her since they were kids. They've been going out for a while, and he is completely in love with her. Wyatt is pretty close with Hunter, a cop he knows has been burned by the Callahan family. He figures he can use his friendship with him as a way to continue to help the family that he has grown up with as part of his own. Played By: Orlando Bloom  Taken By: James_is_my_baby23 Noah Porter Age: 23 History: Noah first came to town three years ago to study journalism in school. A transfer student, he really didn't have a lot of friends, and he wasn't the very social type. He met Kylie Adams two years ago, having no clue she was part of the Callahan family. He got in deeper with her than either would have liked, and with her over-protective brothers and cousins, she wouldn't let him get close to her. He now works for the Southold paper, and is working on getting an expose on the Callahan family. Connection to the Family: He was one of Kylie Adams' many boyfriends. He was burned by her, and wants her back, even if that means taking down her family around her to get to her. Relationships: He didn't really understand what went wrong with him and Kylie. Things seemed to go incredibly well, but she always just kept him at arm's length. He's completely in love with her, and wants her back, no matter how much she tries to push him away. He's diligent in whatever it will take to get her back. Noah has been friends with Josh and Shane since he's moved to town, and constantly uses them for support as much as he allows himself with them as friends. Played By: Eric Lively  Taken By: ChaChaPrincess Vincent Rogers Age: 20 History: Vincent grew up in Southold. He's known members of both families since then, but has always been more loyal to the McPherson family, that is after all the family his girlfriend is from. Vincent has been studying communications at the local college for the past year and a half. He doesn't really know exactly what he wants to do, but figures maybe something in music. He's always had an ear for music, and can play guitar like he was born to do it. Connection to the Family: He's been friends with kids from either family, but dating Brooke McPherson on and off since high school. Relationships: Vincent has always loved Brooke, he just doesn't show it like most people. He loves her, but is afraid to commit to being completely hers. That feels like a trap to him, and Vince likes being a free guy. He slept with Brooke's sister once, and both of them agreed never to speak of it again. He may not want to be completely tied to Brooke forever yet, but he doesn't want to hurt her like that. Vince is pretty close with Mike, but also tight with Lucas. That sometimes causes a problem between all of them, but he doesn't really care. He's friends with whoever he wants, and doesn't care if they hate each other. Played By: Jesse Metcalf  Taken By: KatnotKath William Thompson Age: 18 History: Will has grown up in Southold. He's never liked any of the Callahan kids, they just all seem so stuck up and entitled. He's been friends with a couple of the McPherson kids, especially Jamie. Will is just heading into college to get his business degree. He's not exactly sure what he wants to do with it, but he figures he has a few years to figure that out. Connection to the Family: Dating Jamie McPherson. Relationships: William has been friends with Jamie for years. Last year she surprised him by being the one to ask him out. He of course accepted, having had a crush on her for years. He didn't quite understand her urgency in beginning their relationship, but he's been a loyal and loving boyfriend to her for the year they've been dating. His best friends in the world are Josh and Nick, two guys he has grown up with. He tries to stay away from a lot of the dealings of the McPherson family. Played By: Patrick Fugit  Taken By: pezzie Nick Benton Age: 17 History: Nick was one of the many kids to grow up around both the McPherson and Callahan families. He always tried not to act differently around them, but was found to be liked by both sides, always bringing a bit of comic relief in all the seriousness of the town. Nick is in his senior year of high school, after which he doesn't know if he wants to move away or stay here. He wants to go to film school to be a writer and director. Connection to the Family: He knows kids from both families, but is really close with Lauren Callahan. Relationships: Nick has been best friends with Lauren since they were kids. He jokes with her a lot, but a lot of the time it's to hide his feelings for her. He doesn't want to ruin how casual and fun their friendship is, and he's afraid if they were to go a step further in their relationship, they run the risk of losing what they have. Nick is closest with Nick and Josh, two guys who he's grown up around, and who he loves to just kick back and hang out with. The three of them always try to stay out of the feuding families. Played By: Adam Brody  Taken By: PJ_Believer Josh Underlay Age: 16 History: Josh has grown up in Southold. The son of two teachers, his parents have tried to keep him sheltered from the crime that goes on in the city. They want a cleaner life for their son, even if they would have to take him away from the city. Josh loves it in Southold. His whole life is there, and he doesn't really think the feud affects him at all. Josh is in his junior year of high school. His parents want him to become a teacher or a doctor, something respectable, but Josh doesn't really know what he wants. Connection to the Family: He's friends with a few kids of the McPherson family Relationships: Josh has always been incredibly close with Brooke. The two of them, though a few years apart seem to get each other, and he can always make her smile. The two of them slept together a year ago, to which made things pretty awkward between the two of them for a while. They got over it though, and they still remain pretty close. He's always been friends with Julie, and really likes spending time with her. The two have been hanging out more since Brooke has gotten back together [again] with Vince. Josh's best guy friends in the world are Will and Nick. The three of them always have a great time together.
