When Clint asked if she had ever heard the story of him running away, Violet appeared to be confused by the question. In all the time she had known Clint, not once did he talk about his past. Or at the least, he spoke it in bits. Either Violet hadn't pushed him for answers or that Clint had decided not to speak much of it. "Ran away...ran away?" Holding Clint's wrist, she shook his hand gently, watching as the palm of his hand went back and forth as if it were some sort of gelatin desert. "Er...nooooooo," She elongated her vowels in her response. "I don't think you told me that story before. What's it about?" Having stopped shaking his hand back and forth, Violet brought Clint's hand back down, resting it on top of her hand while placing bother his and her hands on her shoulder.

Not that anyone would really listen, but it was nice that Violet would take the time to, even if she would probably fall asleep. He smiled as she put his hand down and put it on hers and put his other one on her shoulder."It was on a whim," he replied. "Alana and I...well, I said that we should just get out of our town. I actually don't know the reason to be honest. However, when we did run away, our parents tried looking for us and they found us, but we told them we wanted to stay where we were and they left us alone after that. I do regret leaving the way I did, but I needed to get out, you know?" he said looking at Violet. __________________ ღ formerly shadow kissed

With a small pout, she looked up at him, silent for a few minutes before she said, "That wasn't much of a story. Really short to be honest. Do you have any extras in mind?" Violet laid back down on her back, looking up at Clint with the same goofy smile on her face. "Sounds too much like a short love story. Wasn't entertaining enough. You got other stories, don't ya?" Looking around, it had only occurred to Violet that while she had gotten one of his hands on her shoulder, Clint's other hand was on her shoulder without her assistance. "Sorries, just that I'm very picky about stories these days. Love stories can be kinda off in a way. You know, girl gets the guy in the end. Guy gets girl. Live happily ever after. Well, sucks for the damn stories. Not all relationships turn out so happy happy." __________________ Last edited by ~+Yamiko : 11-04-2009 at 01:51 PM.

She reached the room before he did even with his large stride and so he settled behind her, ovserving the scene over her shoulders. The door to the room was flung open. Sandy, much worse for wear, was trembling at the end of the bed, his head hung, and the slicked back perfection in his hair disturbed. Beside him, lying peacefully and with all vestiges of sleep was Lyssa. He heard Annalise ask what had happened and not to be redundant he simply raised a brow, finding his eyes drawn to the smashed pottery lamp at the foot of the bed. “My bedroom set is diminishing by the moment,” he said in a tone that implied he was amused though his face betrayed none of it. Loki As he had predicted Annalise had come running, David close at her heels. His expression shifted from a looked of being nonplussed to quick control, what he’d thought a person in Sandy’s situation might have done. “I…” he hesitated and looked at Annalise for just a moment, hard, the force behind it so inherently Loki than he was sure if he held her gaze longer than he had that David would have surely noticed that something was amiss. All the same he was hoping that the mayor was as vain as some of his detractors made him out to be so that the look would not seem significant. “She…attacked…me,” he managed with effort, breathy. “I had some sedative, I’m afraid it won’t last,” with exertion he managed a smile despite the face that his hand was shifting concealed in the black coat every few seconds. He looked at David, finally, truly, in the eyes. He found the vanity, wickedness but also shrewdness. He wanted to leave more than he had even seconds ago and he wouldn’t have believed it to be possible. “I’ll need to get back…to the office…get some more sedative,” Nik “Hospital?” her little nose crinkled at the suggestion. “Sick people, what life would they have for me? Half lives? Sinking lives?” she shook her head. “Prime, I shall need prime life to make anything of this Adrian,” she said using his first name as she so seldom did. The name felt like paste upon the tongue, odd but not entirely unpleasant. “The park?” she suggested with a devilish smile. “Battery Park. There were many people they when I went to meet The Hunter, many kinds of people, many vagrants even,” Ooc: Cat, did I miss a Glenda post? __________________ Each game of chess MandyMeans there's one less Variation left to be played

She heard David mention something about Lyssa destroying more furniture by the moment, which rather amused Annalise to no end. "Do you want me to go with you?" Annalise tilted her head to the side. Judging by Loki's eyes when he looked at her for a quick second, Annalise knew that the two had to get the hell out of the mayor's home before it was too late. She didn't want to raise any suspicion to David that they were in a rush to get out of there. Adrian Nik did have a point on how hospitals may not be a good idea to feed off of someone with the kids who are dying. His eyebrows raised slightly, however, when he had noticed that this was the first time that Nik decided to address him by his name instead of calling him sir as how she had done. Placing on his coat, tucking in his flute, phone, and a set of keys in the inner pockets, he gestured for Nik to follow him up the stairs and out the door. Once they were outside in the alley, Adrian questioned the water nixie as he locked the door. "And exactly how are you going to get the children without any witnesses looking on?" He grinned. In these times, from what he had observed, parents and loved ones related to victims can go rather insane if one of their kind has gone missing. Thus probably explains the leash parents put on their kids while going on outings.

It was quite possibly a reaction to his earlier feelings of helplessness coupled with reasonable paranoia, but something made him gently push Annalise aside and step into the room. “You don’t look well Sandy,” he said quietly, still with the amusement hanging on his words and something else, perhaps fear coloring it. “This isn’t just lack of sleep man; this is something more, something worse,” he placed a hand on his shoulder before throwing a look to the Little Match Girl. “Do you know where he keeps his sedative?” Nik Nik fell into step, much better at accepting leadership that she would have admitted. She was a lesser creature amongst creatures in the world of water. She was queen of her own river but had little else of any use. She was a proficient mage insomuch as one could be for one who was never schooled in the art of how to use it – true witchcraft amongst her people was relegated to those who inhabited big seas and were often of royal family. Still, a fairy had once proclaimed her to have a marvelous aptitude for it, a conversation Nik still treasured to his day. That Adrian tended to dominate situations was alright with her usually, if mostly because it was on par with how low women of the water were usually treated. “A lonely young heart,” she began. “A poor man begging for change, a lost child, a letch who is convinced he can bed me, it is no difference to me so long as they are vital. Usually that matters less, but I tire, and too soon I shall become insatiable,” Ooc: Waiting on Loki until after Annalise. __________________ Each game of chess MandyMeans there's one less Variation left to be played

Still, out of the lies and half-truths she had to tell to save herself, that was the only question she could tell the truth on. Shaking her head, a bit startled that David had pushed her to the side, although not as violently. "I don't know where he keeps the sedatives, I'm afraid." Annalise leaned up against the door frame, watching, waiting, anxious to see how much longer could Loki could last. "I'm pretty sure he would keep it somewhere in his office." She then turned to Loki, genuinely worried about the state of health he was in. "I could go with you to your office to get the sedative." Still, Annalise wondered what was the point of the sedatives. Even if Lyssa wakes up calm from the whole fiasco earlier, the poison she had given her hours earlier was still strong enough to take effect. Adrian "Fair enough. Although I doubt the park would suit your interest. The train stations are usually full of those everyday." Not exactly knowing how Nik feeds off of the unsuspecting victims, Adrian wondered if she required some sort of mass of water in order to sedate her hunger. If so, he knew the park that had a lake of that sort required them to take a taxi to get there.

She wanted him to be safe too. The time had finally come to escape and she wanted to cling to Oliver's side. She didn't want to leave him, but she had to. But, being his best friend, she put him before herself, so she wasn't sure that she would listen to him and run. When he said for her to run, she stood there for a moment, and then she ran for her life. He told her not to look back for him, so she kept running, but the fact that she didn't want her best friend to get hurt made her turn back and run towards the orc and Oliver. She'd rather put her own life on the line than let the one person she cared about most die."Get off of him!" she jumped on the orc's back and he got off Oliver. "I'm sorry I couldn't listen to you!" she cried to Oliver as the orc was able to get her of it and she fell to the ground and sat up with her back still on the floor and as the orc peered over her, she kicked it. She hoped Oliver would be the one to run, but at the same time, two is better than one when in a battle. Clint Violet did have a point. Love can be boring, especially with the cliche happy ending. Clint knew for a fact it never turned out well sometimes. He thought Alana was dead until she came back into his life."That's okay," he responded with a nod and a wry smile. "I know how it is. For ages I thought Alana was dead and that was a dark period for me if I do say so..." he added with a nod. __________________ ღ formerly shadow kissed

Think someone they love is dead and then couple of years later, surprise surprise. Turns out that they're alive after all." Upon her rambles, Violet sat up on the bed, sitting up on Clint's lap, her arms wrapped around his neck while she leaned up against him, rocking back and forth as if he were a rocking chair. Her head slowly looked up at him, keeping her gaze upon him for quite some time before the silly grin. "Got any more stories? I'm pretty sure you do. Hell, make one up if you gotta." Still rocking back and forth, in Violet's drunken state of mind, she went, perhaps, a little too happy with the rocking. It was innocent after all, just like rocking on a chair going on a rocking horse. Violet had been unaware that she took the rocking a little too much as she collapsed on to the bed, taking Clint with her. With Clint lying on her bed and Violet up on her knees, looking over Clint, she couldn't help but laugh childishly. "Whoops. Didn't see that one coming." She laughed, looking down at Clint's eyes to see his reaction.

Even though it may seem wrong, what Violet and Clint were doing was just innocent and a bit of fun. It's not like Alana will find out. They haven't done anything yet. All of a sudden, she rocked too hard and Violet fell and had taken him with her. It wasn't ideal, but it was still innocent. It was actually quite funny and he laughed a bit. "I did...kinda. The way you were rocking, it was only inevitable." he added with another chuckle. __________________ ღ formerly shadow kissed

Then again, Clint's mind wasn't filled and saturated with numerous and various amounts of alcohol while Violet's state of mind was in a whole different dimension. She rested her head on Clint's shoulder, giggling rather childishly as she turned her head to face him. "I did...kinda. The way you were rocking, it was only inevitable." The response from him only caused an eruption of laughter. "I don't think it's that bad. Quite frankly, it's kind of comfy. Not like my pillows but you'll do just fine. Plus, you can say the same for me, can't ya? Huh? Huh? Huh?" Wrapping her arm around Clint's waist, the laughter did eventually cease, even if momentarily. "Well...what ya waiting for?" She poked his cheek lightly before tapping it as if waiting for an answer.

Violet was not like his pillow, but it didn't really matter since he had someone to come home to anyway. He looked at Violet and sighed. Clint wasn't sure what story he should tell her or whether to just stay there and talk about something else. "I have no idea about which story to tell you, Vi, since my last one obviously bored you." he teased with a small laugh.__________________ ღ formerly shadow kissed

I still remember the Wolf/Raven interaction we had (not sure if you remember it. Damn the nostalgia!). If you need help placing your characters, PM Mandy or Cat because I know they have open characters (currently, I'm fresh out at the moment. Heh)Violet "But that's because you finally found her and everything started going all happy happy happy." Violet's words slurred as she spoke. Nuzzling her head on Clint, she pulled herself towards him, laying beside him with one leg resting atop of his waist. "Sorry, don't mean to sound cynical about it. But...you know...I guess it's kind of rare these days to find guys who are just a nice as you." Humming a nameless tune, she kept her hold firm on Clint, still smiling that goofy smile at him. "Maybe you could make up a story. Any story. Just don't make it sound so cheesy with the lovey dovey happily ever after shit. You know what I mean, right? I think you look like the type that could make up a story. Unless, of course...you want to talk about something else."

Ummmm was the Beauty character in the start of the RP cause if so I might need to know what her character was doing. If she wasn't then I'll just come up with something else.__________________ Mal/River You may forget but let me tell you this, someone is some future time will think of us.
