The OC-Right Back Where We Started From-1 spot left!
A lot changed in a year.
But somehow they're back to the beginning. Marissa Cooper is lost as ever, drowning her sorrows in as much alcohol as she can find, and trying to find other ways to deal. Her mother proves to be no help, she doesn't want to disappoint her father, and her best friend isn't the same anymore. Marissa's been partying all summer long, but will her ways change with Ryan back in town? Ryan Atwood... the outsider. Well he's back inside now, with Theresa, though. Are they together? Not exactly. Nothing spells romance like forced partnership... Right. Ryan promises to be there for her and the baby, but needs to see what else is out there. Even though the due date proves that the baby isn't Ryan's, it was concieved a month prior to their... encounter. He just wants to try and be normal, whatever that may be. Seth Cohen has spent the summer in Catalina. Surprisingly, he spent it alone, camping the most of his month long trip. He's on his way back, but not sure of how to explain. Apologies are in order, but what do you say? He needs to figure this out. To his parents, and Summer. Possibly Ryan as well. If he'll ever see him again. Summer Roberts is a shadow of her former self. Instea of partying or going out, she's spent the summer so far alone. Seeing her friends gets to be depressing and she just doesn't feel like 'hanging out.' Kirsten and Sandy's marriage has hit a rough spot. But Kirsten is willing to do anything to make it up to him, including possibly adding another Cohen to the family. She knows this may not work, but she truly thinks it could help. Sandy is unaware of this, and basically is distancing himself. He doesn't know what to say anymore. The 'gruesome twosome' are putting on a spectacular show as always, playing happy family. Caleb is particularily enjoying his daughter's detiorating marriage even though he unsuccesfully tries to keep it a secret. As for Julie sh'es been nervous lately. Why you may ask? It has to do with the return of a former... thing. That's right, Luke is back in town. After trying out Portland, he decided to spend the ssummer back in good old Newport. Seeing Julie has resurfaced some things, although he's not sure how to deal with this all. He should probably stay out of things, she's married now. But that doesn't mean that he will. Jimmy's trying to propose to Haley,m but for some reason he feels that they are getting farther apart. COuld Haley possiblt have a fear of commitment? With a month of summer gone, there's still plenty for the Newpsies to get themselves into. And knowing them, they will. Rules: 1 or more, but if you take 2 or above, please make it boy/girl. But I'm not that picky when it comes to that. Don't join if you don't plan on posting. The 'plot' can always be revised don't be afraid to add new things into it. I'm going to start this. So I guess we'll find Caleb later. Unless I switch Jimmy for Caleb. I think I will. Alright I'll do my posts in a bit.

Summer
I sat in my bedroom, drinking my orange juice and watching Clueless for probably the millionth time this summer alone. It used to be my favorite movie, possibly still was. I was convinved that I was sick. And had been. For a whole month. And was possibly dying a slow painful death. Or else I was just being dramatic. But still. Feining sick gave me an excuse. Sandy I sat in the living room, watching Kirsten out of the corner of my eye. Another silent day in the Cohen household. I wasn't used to this at all. Seth was usually streaming in and out, bringing friends, girlfriends. Ryan too. Ryan wasn't a big talker but atleast he was company. We'd maybe spoken ten words a day. But it was better than fighting. I guess I didn't know what to say anymore. Caleb "JuJu," I called, looking for her. I found her eventually, greeting her with a kiss on the cheek. "I've invited us over to dinner at KiKi's. Thought it may be amusing. Don't worry, it's just us. Well, and Marissa of course. Where has she been lately anyways?" I had been trying to be involved with her maybe then she'd keep quiet. Stick around her mom. "I thought maybe today I could bring you girls shopping? Possibly KiKi too. That poor girl," I said, shaking my head in reference to Sandy. On the inside I was smiling at their marital problems. __________________

Marissa
I checked to make sure my bedroom door was locked. My mom had a habit of walking with out knocking and I couldn't let her catch me. If she did I would be set off to some mental hospital and I was in no need of on of those place. I pulled out a box from the back of my dresser and walked into my bath room. I open the box to find a few pills left. I wasn't sure what they were but between them and the alcholol I wasn't feeling a thing. If anything you could say my life was great. I took down one of the pills with a shot of rum. I looked into the mirror and said, "now your ready to face them" Kirsten I hated the slience of this house. I couldn't stand it much longer, but I guess it was better then fighting with Sandy. Every since Ryan left and then Seth it seem all we were doing were fighting with each other. Even when we start the conv. out some what decent it would end in a huge fight. I would turn to my work and he would watch some game on TV. Today wasn't to bad we hadn't really spoken, but we hadn't faught yet either. "Do you have any plans tonight?" I asked hoping this wouldn't turn into some big fight again. __________________
