| Buffyverse: The Next Generation (part MYOC) Connor Reilly is just starting his third year at UCLA. It's a year after he helped his father take on the Circle of the Black Thorn, since then he hasn't seen or heard from him. Dawn Summers is a freshman at UCLA. It's her first time away from Buffy so she's a little nervous and glad of the universities policy of assigning each freshman to an older guide and surprise surprise, who else should Dawn have as her guide but Connor. How long will it take before they discover each others mysterious backgrounds? And how long will it be before they run into some kind of supernatural trouble? Cast: Good: Connor TB: Carrie Relationships: Since finding out the truth about his father Connor hasn't exactly been the life and soul of the party, he's perfectly happy to just hang out with Luke. When he met Dawn he's instantly drawn to her, he can almost sense some connection between their lives. When he met Talla he realises he met her before, he was out at night when he saw two girls being attacked a vampires, he was too late to help one but he helped Talla get away. She's was called to be a slayer only months before her high school graduation and, even though she's got slayer's strength, she's still a gem in the rough meaning that she's got a long ways to go before she can call herself a threat to the undead. History: Having parents that really didn't give a damn about what she did or where she went, Bonnie grew up learning to ignore rules and do whatever she wanted. This lack of discipline got her in big trouble as a youngster but after she was called to be a slayer she learned the importance of self-restraint. Now Bonnie is growing and becoming a more mature individual. Personality: Even as a little girl Bonnie was a wild firecracker. She's generally high strung but tries her very best to seem smooth and in control of herself. Relationships: Played By: Lindsay Lohan  Connor's room-mate Taken By: goodbyegirl84 Name: Luke Halliwell Age: 21 Supernatural Powers: He's a witch- he was raised in a wicca enviroment. He's been doing spells since he was a kid- so he's pretty advanced for his age. History: He's big into the partying- and has pushed his witch self asside. He's mom and dad were both powerful witches- part of the most powerful underground coven on this coast. But recently his dad was turned into a vampire and tried to turn his mother- instead she's been in a coma for the past year. The other coven members have been taking care of him. He's pushed it all away because he doesn't knows that's why his parents were taken away from him. Personality: He's usually pretty casual about his magicks- but lately he's been an angerball- and loosing his temper and control- and with that comes badness. Relationships: He's been rooming with Connor for a while. He would go out on a limb and say they were friends. Although they keep secrets from each other. He doesn't care- because he has secrets of his own. They can be normal around each other- but sometimes when something happens...something seemingly supernatural, they both just tend to go off and do their own thing. He finds Amy, a girl he has to guide around- a handful- very full of herself. He senses the magicks around school especially in Talla- he believes she's a witch- which just means he has to be more careful around her so she can't sense him. It's tough but he just wears a charm around his neck. Played By: Chad Michael Murray  Taken By: ~Carrie~ Name: Amy Barrett Age: 18 Supernatural Powers: None, just your regular Freshman girl who until now thought vampires were just movie baddies. History: Amy grew up in Orange County, California. She was the most popular girl in her high school and plans to come to college and be the same, however she has a Cordelia like knack of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting mixed up with some of the students she views as total freaks! Personality: Amy can be a total drama queen, she truely believes the world revolves around her. When she faces a crisis or a scary life or death situation she is prone to panic but once she learns of the darker side of LA she does truely want to help. Relationships: Amy is desparately seeking a sexy older college guy and as soon as she met him her heart became set on Alan, that doesn't doesn't stop her enjoying flirting with her guide, Luke. Her roommate is Lawrie and they get on well despite being very different people. Played By: Sophia Bush  Taken By: AlexEvans Name: Alan Murray Age: 23 Supernatural Powers: Used to be in training to be a Watcher, but the destruction of the Council threw him onto his own. History: He was excited to learn about the supernatural. He began training to be a Watcher as soon as he can. He grew close to a Slayer-in-Training. They hoped she would be the next Slayer, he her Watcher (or at least an assistant to a more experienced Watcher). All his plans ended when the Council was destroyed, the SiT slain the night after their first formal date. He killed the Bringers responsible, and then tried to leave all that behind him. Personality: Very withdrawn, but confident in his expertise, whether about history or about the supernatural. He hates the evil in the world, but is no longer sure it's possible to do anything about it. So why not just try to make a normal life? He has a strong sense of responsibility, which he has been trying to ignore. Relationships: Alan is a teaching assistant for Quisling (Ancient Mythology). He also is taking a course from Garrett. Played By: Adam Brody Taken By: Jezebel In Hell Name: Lawrie McDonald Age: 18 Supernatural Powers: Lawrie is halfway normal but that stops there. She is also half Bracken demon much like her distant relative Alan Francis Doyle. She moved there because it seemed like, with so many people fighting for good around, she'd be safe. History: Born in a dimension full of torture, violence, and anything bad you could imagine, Lawrie became skittish and constantly afraid. Her father decided that she didn't have what it took to stay in their home dimension and he contacted her mother, who lived in LA, so she could take proper care of Lawrie. They forged the papers needed so their daughter could attend school and live a normal human life without letting anyone know about her demon side. Personality: Lawrie is a very shy girl but she makes friends easily because she is so kind and empathetic. She's very book-smart and because of her background she has good instincts when it comes to the supernatural. Relationships: Lawrie shies away from other students. Her circle of friends is just as abnormal as she is. Because they're involved with the paranormal and understand basics about demons, Lawrie is friends with Amy, Bonnie, Dawn, and Talla. She's run into Jade before and feels horrible for her being a vampire and all. Played By: Majandra Delfino Taken By: KatnotKath Name: Talla Martin Age: 19 Supernatural Powers: She’s a witch, fairly deeply involved with wicca and talented as far as spells go History: Talla’s mother was involved in wicca when she was younger. When Talla was about twelve she was playing up in the attic and came across one of her mother’s old books. She started reading and quickly became interested. Until a couple of years ago that was all just theory, she never really believed in anything like monsters and vampires. All that changed a couple of years ago when her best friend Rea was killed by a vampire. She was with her and this was how she discovered the truth. Having found out about the truth, Talla became far more involved in magic and she progressed quickly, seeming to be a natural. Personality: Talla’s rather quiet and serious, made this way by past experiences. She does like to have fun, but often holds the view that there are far more important things to do than go out partying etc. Her character is a lot stronger than people expect though and she’s not worried about speaking out if she disagrees with someone. It can take her some time to learnt to trust new people though. She’s had a number of bad experiences even before what happened to Rea it’s not difficult to see that they have effected her. Relationships: Generally Talla keeps to herself a lot. She finds it difficult knowing the truth about things while others are still completely unaware. She doesn't really want to get them involved though, not wanting to put them in danger. She knows that Bonnie and Dawn aren't like that though and made friends with them quickly, along with Conner who she can't help thinking she's seen before. She's spent a little time around both he and his roommate Luke and can't help thinking there's something strange about the latter although she can't quite put her finger on it. He teaches a mythology course and mainly cinema classes. He's a popular prof. But not much is known about him. Personality: He's playful in class, and a total kid at heart. But he also has a serious side to him. A side that seems to have a dark past. Relationships: He's only been around for a year and doesn't know everyone that well. He can be seen around Prof.Garret arguing myth vs. history. Dawn, Connor, Luke, Talla, Lawrie, Amy and Bonnie are all in his afternoon tuesday and thursday Ancient Mythology class. While he was with his fellow soldiers, Fredric was cornered by a strange woman who, as it turns out, was a vampire - A vampire that was very interested in making Fredric her child, so-to-speak. It was under the vampire (Eva)'s wing that Fredric learned what real violence was and how enjoyable murdering mortals could be. The two of them spent about one hundred years roaming the country, traveling all over, and spreading a reign of terror. After that, though, Eva was dusted by a slayer right in front of Fredric's eyes. He then murdered the slayer, slowly and painfully, and vowed to slaughter all slayers he came in contact with. Personality: Put simply, Fredric is a sadistic and evil murderer. He kills for enjoyment - Not just to feed. Living in LA was tough especially without any friends, she was living with her lawyer sister because her parents thought she was too much trouble. But when her sister Lilah who worked at Wolfram and Hart disapeared- she hit rock bottom and found herself alone in allies doing drugs. When she was tripped out Fredric changed her. When she woke up she felt in control again. She even found out the truth about her sister- summons her ghost sometimes for chats. Personality: She's become a sociopath- she also blames Dawn for everything bad that happened to her. She likes violence- and embraces the kill. She likes it to be planned out- but also likes to play with her food. Relationships: She hates Dawn. She despises her. She wants to kill her slower and then of course turn her into a vampire. Because nothing is cooler then turning the, er, a slayers sister. Also she is interested in destroying anyone who is connected to Dawn. She would also become obsessed with anyone who dated her. Because she wants to be Dawn at the core of it all- at least that's what her shrink said...before she snapped his neck. She is loyal to Fredric- he is her sire after all- but...she's curious about the other vampires out there. So far she finds Victoriana interesting- also she's attracted to her. She's bi-sexual- like aren't all the cool girls. She finds Patrick interesting, Fredrick won't let her see him- but he sounded really cool. Played By: Amber Tamblyn  Taken By: ~Carrie~ Name: Professor Richard Garrett Age: 45 Supernatural Powers: Those gained through using dark magics. History: Richard is currently a history professor at UCLA. In his spare time he has developed an interest in magic, at first it was harmless enough fun but then in order to make himself more powerdul he has become more deeply and dengerously involved. Personality: He likes to be in control, he's ambitious and ruthless and his desire for power had led to a loss of all morals and ethics. Relationships: The professor is intrigued by his college Quisling, he can't quite work him out but sees potential in him. He follows the vampires Patrick and Fredric and would love to work alongside them. Played By: Stanley Tucci  Taken By: AlexEvans Name: Victorianna, Mistress of Darkness Age: 550 Supernatural Powers: A vampire. Dabbles in blood magics when she's bored, but seldom has the attention span to get very far. Fortunately. History: Once a lady's maid, but she claims (when she mentions her past at all) to have been royalty. At first easily swayed by her elders, after her first century or so of unlife she began to exhibit a decidedly independent and unpredictable streak. Two and a half centuries ago she organized a group of vampires to trap and kill a Slayer who had been hunting them. About a century ago she fought and defeated a Slayer by herself, feeding from the Slayer but leaving her - just barely - alive. Afterwards she sent flowers to the Slayer's hospital room, and taunting notes for several years. Personality: She just wants to have fun. She plays with her food but seldom kills when feeding - she only kills if she decides her victim deserves it. Unfortunately, with her a little rudeness goes a long way (and it doesn't even have to be directed at her). She's been known to cooperate with other vampires, if she finds them interesting. Relationships: Victoriana likes being liked, likes flirting, and especially likes promoting jealousy. She welcomes the attention from Patrick and Jade but so far hasn't made a commitment. Played By: Katherine Heigl Taken By: Jezebel In Hell Name: Patrick Redford Age: 700 Supernatural Powers: He's a vampire. Over the years he has learned the basics of magic but he is by no means an expert in that area. History: Patrick has spent his years spreading terror and causing bloodshed over all of the European countries. There has been so much that has happened over the centuries that he often has trouble remembering certain incidents. He just recently moved to LA because he heard that it was full of easy kills. Personality: At first he seems like a bashful fellow, rarely opening his mouth to speak, but once he gets caught up in the moment his mood becomes more intense and his aura oozes evil. Relationships: Patrick doesn't interact much at all. Instead, he prefers to observe others and their habits. When it comes to other vampires, Patrick wants more than anything to work together with them and create all sorts of violence and mischief. One woman he's had his eye on is Victorianna. He admires every facet of her personality but is too shy to ever really approach her. | I know me too but I'd really like one or two more players. I think I'm gonna add another bad guy myself but still I think we need a couple more. My bad guy is going to be a professor who in secret messes with dark magics. We could use maybe another professor or more students or other vampires and demons. | Ok thats my final character, I'll give this one more dayto see if we get anymore new characters and then tomorrow (tuesday) we can start posting relationships and hopefully start by the end of the week. | |||
