Drake Wilson
A giggle from Devin, and he knew she was excited to see him. Devin didn't giggle, and on the rare occasions that she did, Drake found himself in an era of joy, knowing that he somehow made someone happy. Drake normally wasn't a crowd pleaser, and he did things for his own benefit and gain. But Devin actually meant something to him.. It was a hard feeling to explain, but Drake wouldn't do anything for just anyone. He didn't treat her like he did other people, and he tried the very hardest he could to never be an ass or be angry with her, like he was to most people. Don't get him wrong, he just didn't put up with pointless shit that people did to him sometimes.

Drake hugged her fragile body to his, another undescribable feeling surging through him, as his tense muscles relaxed into hers. He laughed sarcastically at her comment in a playful matter, shaking his head a bit as he searched the scene of drunk losers. "Yea, right. Definitley ready." He teased, giving her a quick glance and adorable smile. As Drake's happy eyes left hers, they suddenly turned horrified. Iz. Okay, so everyone knew that Drake was a protective freak.. More so with Devin, but Iz was next in line. Her drinking, smoking, and acting like a straight fool as she was made him infuriated. He couldn't help but think about what guys might do to her.. Take advantage when she was like this.. Or worse, Iz getting alcohol poisoning. His eyes narrowed a bit, and one of his fists clenched.

It took every ounce in him to say no to barging right over there and dragging her drunk and high ass home. She would hate him forever for acting like an insane brother, but he only did it because he cared, and he had the feeling that nobody else did. If someone else did, they sure as hell didn't act like it. Drake sighed, and looked down at Devin. By the look in her eye, Drake knew that she had caught onto the issue running through his mind. Devin wasn't too fond of Drake acting like this for Iz.. Probably because he acted as if he were in love with her- But that was never the case. "I can't let this one go, Dev.." He muttered in a hushed tone, his expression reading horror and pain for Iz being this way.

Kate Morrison
Kate was hating life at the moment. Standing by the fire, watching it go up in flames, and hating boys. Boys, boys, boys. She felt completely abandoned over the use of drugs and alcohol. Everyone was going completely insane as if they had never seen a beer bottle. Hello! You can drink and get high any day of the week, why at an event where we're supposed to be having fun?! Kate didn't understand how getting drunk and high made the party more fun, when you wouldn't even remember it tomorrow! God bless it.

Kate had an angry expression as she dialed her driver's car-cell. She wanted to be picked up ASAP. This party was nothing but a bunch of drunk idiots who kept trying to pull up her skirt and get some in the sand of the beach. Hells nah! Kate wasn't some **** skank whore. "Peter? Yea. Pick me up now. And I mean now." She angrily slurred into the phone, hanging it up without saying goodbye. Her girlfriends had fallen under the peer-pressure of sex, and Kate was left with nothing and no one. This part could go to hell for all she cared. Ugh. High schoolers.

Jac Kessler
Jac turned and scanned the crowd, searching for someone she felt in the mood to talk to. Turning around to look behind her, she immediately recognized her boyfriend, Cameron, waving at her. Beach bag in hand, she made her way over to him and smiled, wrapping her arms around him in a long hug. She never had the greatest luck in relationships - she was either busy, he was busy, she had too much going on or she got bored, for lack of a nicer word. So, she surprised even herself by finding a guy like Cameron that caught and kept her interest for more than a few weeks. Leaning up to press a kiss to his lips, the taste of his beer was strong in her own mouth. "Hey babe," she greeted him, pulling away slightly from the kiss. "Excited for tonight?"

Travis Kelton
He jumped slightly when he heard a voice behind himself. Craning his neck to get a look at the person greeting him, she smiled at the sight of Jennifer. He'd never really gotten a chance to talk to her .. ever. He'd seen her from afar, but she always caught his eye one way or another. She was Dom's best friend, which made him feel a little guilty for even thinking of her in that way at all. But he couldn't help it, he had a soft spot for cute girls like her. Heck, he had a soft spot for girls period. Letting an impish grin play across his lips, he smiled up at her. "Not as nice as you," he teased, gesturing to the space next to him for her to sit down.

HARLOW
Harlow knew when her cousin was inebriated beyond repair and this was definitely one of those moments. She laughed at Iz's incomprehensible rambling and shrugged lightly.
"I'm actually not wearing perfume," she replied with a smile that went out from ear to ear. "But, I agree. Cats are better than dogs."
Harlow wasn't the type of person to actually wear perfume. She never really got into the whole fashion scene. The only real thing she worried about was being herself, and sometimes that was hard.

She was also concerned when Iz started mentioning Kate Morrison. Harlow knew that Iz hated her, but calling her a skank was probably uncalled for. She then looked at the alleged Kate, and yep, she was definitely dressed like a skank, but she didn't say that to Iz, though. Smiling, she nodded when Iz asked her about having cigarettes and slowly got a packet out of her bag and presented the contents to Iz.
"Here you go," she said while taking one out for herself and getting a lighter. "Don't smoke it too fast." she added with a laugh.

CAMERON
Cameron smiled when Jac approached and when she kissed him, he kissed her back just as deep. Lacing his fingers with hers, Jac had just pulled back and before answering her question, he led her to the spot he was sitting just moments earlier and they sat down. Looking at the twilight sky, he shrugged and turned to her.
"I'm actually more excited to be with you," he said actually knowing full well that it was only the partial truth. "But, by the looks of things, looks like it's just beginning." he replied, looking the many people already there.

JEN
Jen looked at Travis and smiled when he said the water wasn't as nice as her. She took her shoes off and proceeded to sit at the spot he had gestured for her to sit in. Once she was settled, she looked at him. He had the most mesmerising eyes and no-one would blame her for getting lost in them. After keeping the gaze for awhile, she reluctantly looked away and sat in an upright position, looking at the sea in front of them. She also fiddled with the cords on her white hoodie out of nervousness--not only because she was sitting next to Travis and didn't know what to say, but also about the reaction from Dom if he was to catch them there. Even though it is strictly platonic at the moment, she still felt a pang of guilt for not telling him- her best friend, about her growing attraction to Travis. Biting her lip, she looked at him again, this time keeping the gaze for longer and she quietly sighed.
"So, uhm.....how have you been?"

Alexander Lincoln

Situated cross-legged on a scrap of sand a few feet away from the effulgent bonfire, Alexander Lincoln attended to a bottle of Zephyrhills while absendmindedly picking a loose thread at the ankle of his jeans. While peers around him indulged in the taboo of alcohol, Linc knew better: consuming an incognizable amount alcohol tonight = unnecessary throbbing headache tomorrow morning = bad showing at gig tomorrow night = something Linc was not willing to compromise. Thus, Linc opted out of the notorious red cup in favor for a now half-empty bottle of water. This, however, didn't stop his friends from trying to pressure him out of his prudent decision; if he had a nickel for every time one of his boys attempted to thrust a cup of alcohol in his hand, Linc wouldn't be a slice of one of Seattle's ascending rock bands; he'd be a Hollywood mogul.

Upon hearkening Jeremy's inquiry, Linc plucked his eyes away from the incandescent colors of the bonfire's flames. He tipped the base of his water bottle upwards and pivoted his chin in a greeting, a minuscule grin tugging a corner of his lips heavenward. "Nah, man. Been here for a while. Sit," he said, scooting towards the right a few inches and patting the relinquished patch of sand next to him. He had been sitting in the same spot for nearly forty-five minutes then, and was thrilled to finally have some company -- though he would've preferred his girlfriend over Jeremy, because then he could at least get some action tonight. Kristin, however, was nowhere to be found and further, was not anwering her cell phone; to say Linc was a tad annoyed would be an understatement.

But, nevertheless. Linc snagged a sip off of his Zephyrhills. "How are you, man? Up to anything interesting lately?"

Everyone else in a couple of hours -- must scurry off to fail a Lab test.

Jac Kessler
She let out a slight chuckle, fully aware that his previous compliment was just a gesture of politeness. And she couldn't blame him, what high school guy wasn't excited to hang out and party? He didn't have to stick by her side all night if he didn't want to. "Yeah, it's gonna be wild tonight," she gave another laugh, scanning the crowd for other familiar faces. People were already milling about and some were even off in secluded spots to be alone with a special someone. She kept her fingers laced with his, she smiled and leaned over to give him another kiss. Letting a hand snake up his arm and rest behind his neck, she pressed her lips to his again. Making out could be considered one of her favorite past times, not that it was a bad thing. He was her boyfriend, after all.

Travis Kelton
Travis chuckled up at her after his lame compliment, laughing at his own stupidity. Watching her sit down, he felt the familiar pang of guilt again. He couldn't keep his eyes off her, and yet, he almost didn't want to be looking at her in that way. He knew he should confide in Dom, let him know about his more-than-friends vibe he got with Jennifer. But, maybe she didn't feel the same way in return? Then he'd just come off as creepy. He glanced sideways at her, watching her fiddle with her hoodie strings nervously before speaking to him. "I've been good," he nodded. "How about you? School going good?" he asked half-heartedly. To tell you the truth, he didn't care about school, he didn't care about this small talk. He just wanted to tell her subtley he might be interested, but there was no easy way to go about that.

JEREMY
After Linc offered him a seat on the sand, Jeremy nodded and then sat down next to his friend. He wasn't the drinking type, so he tried staying away from as much alcohol as he could. He watched Linc take a sip of his Zephyrhills and then he turned to him when he was addressing something in his direction.
"Oh, nothing much really. Just been working. How about you? How's the band?"

JEN
Listening to the waves crash and tumble in front of her, she was still looking at Travis and even though she still felt guilty for feeling these things about him, he was still gorgeous to look at. Honestly, she's really never felt that way about anyone before, well not these kind of intense feelings that you usually feel for someone. She usually kept those feelings to herself anyway. She didn't want to show Travis any signs that she might be interested because it'd just get awkward later on. When he spoke to her and turned her own question around on her, she nodded and smiled.
"Yeah, I've been good too," she replied honestly, gazing down at the yellow sand they were both sitting on and then back up at him. "School's great. I love my major."
She was majoring in Graphic Design and she loves it. There was a time where she wanted to do Fashion, and even though she goes for the latest trends and styles, she couldn't picture herself being a fashion designer.
"How's school for you?"

CAMERON
Smiling, he couldn't help but look at her immaculate beauty. From her hair to her beautiful face. Still lacing his fingers with hers, he gazed into her eyes and he got lost in them for a brief moment before snapping back into reality.
"Yeah. Can't wait."
He said that in a somewhat monotonal manner, but he would rather just spend time with Jac...alone. As she kissed him, the passion was returned and they shared another kiss on the sand. He loved making out with Jac. That was his favorite thing to do--apart from film editing and photography, which he had just recently gotten into. He placed his arms around her waist and his lips parted hers and they made out for a moment before he pulled away, albeit reluctantly and smiled at her.
"Before we continue," he said teasingly. "Do you wanna drink or something?"

OOC: I'll bring AJ in now

AARON JAMES ROLAND "AJ"
AJ was sitting in the sand looking around for people who were at least interesting to talk to. After not seeing anyone worth his time, he looked back at the water and watched as it crashed against the sand.

His parents and his siblings were out for the night and wouldn't be back til very late, so really, the only reason why he came to the Bonfire was because he didn't want to be home alone. Silly as it may sound, it was true. He looked around again and saw Kate Morrison. She went to West Seattle High and he sorta had a crush on her, even though he won't admit to himself or to her. Half-smiling, he looked at the angry expression on her face as he got up and approached her dazedly. She looked crummy as he felt being there. All AJ was doing this whole time was sitting in the sand by himself and it sucked. He waited til she was off the phone to make his move.
"Hey Kate."

Letting her fingers wander through his shaggy hair, she leaned backwards slightly as he deepened the kiss. She frowned inwardly a bit when he pulled away but answered his question with a grin. "A beer sounds perfect right about now," she let a playful smirk linger across her lips. Before standing up and brushing herself off, she leaned towards him slightly until her lips brushed against his ear. "And maybe tonight .. you should come back to my place after, if you want," she whispered. "My parents are out of town .." she smirked softly before standing up. She was sure the time was right, he was someone special to her. She held her hand out towards him to help him up.

Travis Kelton
He smiled as she talked, honestly not so much listening to her as he was watching her every move. That may sound creepy, but she was captivating. Almost entrancing, at least to him. Every time she ran her fingers through her hair, or rubbed her lips together. Those little things were what caught his interest. Not some girl throwing herself at him. He'd always liked a bit of a chase, but he wasn't that kind of heartbreaking player. He was hard to describe, but he knew for sure that he liked Jen. And more than just a physical attraction. Breaking out of his daze as she asked him her question, he replied, "School's good," he nodded. "Everything's just good, which is pretty damn boring," he laughed.

CAMERON
Letting her pull him up, Cameron smiled at the thought of actually spending some time with her....at her place. He gave her a little kiss and pulled back slightly, their lips just barely touching.
"That sounds good," he replied. "Actually, really good." he added with a smirk.
He led her to one of the coolers which contained the beer and he got one for her and himself.
"There ya go. Enjoy." he said taking the cap off.

JEN
She laughed at his response. Jen never really knew anyone who thought that school being good was actually boring. She bit her lip and gave an ear to ear smile. She couldn't help it. He was mesmerising and she couldn't help her growing attraction to him. She found herself becoming hot in the summer weather so discreetly and subtley she took off her hoodie, revealing her black, strapless shirt that had lace and sequins embedded at the top. It went well with her black jeans that she decided to wear.
"Sorry, I was hot," she said. "Aren't you feeling the heat?" she added. On one note she was actually hot, but on the other, she was giving him a hint of how she felt about him, even though she promised herself she wouldn't give him any. She just hoped he didn't get it.

Jac
Twisting the cap off of her own bottle, she let another little smirk play across her lips. She was growing steadily more excited at the prospect of tonight. Normally, she would be extremely apprehensive about something like this, but tonight just felt right. She took a long drink of her beer before unzipping her hoodie and tossing it into her bag, revealing a black bikini top underneath. She repositioned her purse over her shoulder again as she looked at Cameron. He was gorgeous, really gorgeous. And she was so lucky to have him, so lucky that he was hers. "I wonder who else is coming to this thing," he attempted some small talk, considering things hadn't really picked up yet.

Travis
He let his eyes roam over her body discreetly as she slid her hoodie over her head. Whatever guilty feelings he should be having were put on hold as he gaze wandered down her chest, in true male fashion. She was beautiful, which only added fuel to his fire, so to speak. "It is getting pretty warm," he replied, tearing his eyes away from her for a moment to look out at the sun. It was still bright out, and the humidity was thick. He turned his gaze back to her, the humidity not being the only heat he was feeling at the moment. "You wanna come get a beer with me?" he asked, letting his arm brush against hers very subtley as he pointed behind himself towards the coolers.

CAMERON
Giving a light shrug, Cameron took another swig of his beer and turned to her. She looked beautiful, especially now her hoodie was off and he was able to see her in a bikini top. He couldn't help but look at her chest and look back up to gaze at her eyes, never leaving them for a moment.
"I don't know," he replied honestly. "I don't think people will actually miss the event of the year"

JEN
Jen nodded. No-one had ever really asked her to get a beer with them before. But then again, no-one's really had any reason to. Jen tries to stay out of the whole party scene. The idea of getting drunk and making out with random strangers didn't really appeal to her. Travis, however, was different. He wasn't a stranger and if by some twist of fate, they both got drunk and started making out with eachother, she wouldn't care. Not that she would get drunk of course.
"Yeah, sure," she replied, pretty much melting at his touch when he brushed his arm against hers. "I'd like that." she added watching him get up from his spot.

DEVIN
Closing her eyes briefly, she breathed in the wonderfully familiar scent of his soap and aftershave. When her eyes opened again she sensed that Drake seemed distracted by something that was happening behind her. Following his gaze, she spotted Iz and automatically understood. Iz was Drake's best friend, and Devin used to hang out with her a lot back in her rebellious phase. She wouldn't have met Drake if it wasnt for Iz actually, and for that reason Devin will forever be grateful. They still got along pretty well, although these days their activities centered more around Drake -- more quality time, less party time to be precise -- than anything else. However, although she liked Iz, she couldn't help but feel a little jealous whenever Drake's entire focus would immediately shift from her to his girlfriend to his best friend in a blink of an eye. Granted, there was usually a legitimate reason, but the pang was always there. Fortunately it seemed to be nothing more but an instinctive reaction that went away eventually, as she never really held any ill will towards Iz.

She sighed, shaking her head with a slight smile. Iz will always be Iz. She was definitely getting a little out of control way too early into the night, and she knew Drake could help her get a handle on things. Standing on tiptoe, she kissed him again on the lips before breaking away from his arms. "Go ahead," she said, nodding. "I'll go find Jac and Dani."

Drake Wilson
The first time that Drake had met Iz, she was passed out on the couch at a party, surrounded by guys who didn't seem to just 'want to watch her sleep'. Drake carried her to his car and back to his house, let her sleep in his bed while he slept on the couch. A funny way to meet someone, but it'd be better to meet her oddly than to see her on the news that next morning as Arbor Height's child-rape vicitim. Devin was, and will always be, the only woman in his life- But Iz was just Iz, and sometimes Iz needed a bit of help when it came to 'taking care of herself'. Drake never fully understood why she was the way she was, but asking seemed pointless now. Drake acted as if he accepted it until it got too bad, and then he would be forced to intervene. He felt like a father sometimes.. And that wasn't necessarily the way Drake wanted to be to Iz.

But whatever.

Drake planted one more kiss on Devin's lips, giving her a smile. It sucked to let her go roam around the party without him, but he felt obligated to help out Iz. "I'll catch up later, okay?" He assured her, his honest mouth forming into a smile. He let go of Devin completely, and started walking towards Iz with a sigh. Yet again, his obligations lead to saving an out-of-her-mind Iz. Drake reached Harlow and the drunk-queen herself, and shoved his hands in his jeans pockets. He gave Harlow that look which meant to give him a second.

Don't rip her, Drake. Don't yell.

Drake always had to tell himself that before he said anything. He never wanted to hurt Iz, he just wanted to give her guidance and force her to get her life back together. Drake gently took Iz's forearm in his rough, manly hand, and brought her closer to him so that he could say this without the whole Arbor Heights hearing. She deserved to be scolded, yes- But not embarrassed.

"Come on, Iz.. Let me take you home or something.. If not, switch to water and quit smoking atleast. You're getting too out of hand." Drake said in a hushed tone, his eyes concerned and his voice hinting a bit of sadness for seeing her like this. She was going to make the wrong decision one night, and Drake would never see her again- That was his ultimate fear. Iz was his best friend. Sure, he had guy friends that were just as great, but Drake couldn't tell the guys about how much he was in love with Devin, or about how they finally had sex. Iz knew everything, and it'd suck to start all over again on someone else.
