Thanks for the lovely picspam! I'll get us kickstarted. I love this episode. I love how it starts with the family gathering together in their christmas jumpers for Frank and Phil's mum. It then goes on to show how Phil and Claire are very different in their discipline of the kids and surprisingly, Claire is the one who steps back and doesn't do anything.

Overall this ep from s1 was a perfect Christmas ep. From Cam's dilemma on dealing with his former choir mates, to Jay having to deal with Colombian Christmas traditions and the Dunphys with their dilemma on who smoked and burned the sofa. Everyone had stellar performances and the end part was perfect.

I love the Pritchett's tradition of opening PJs on christmas eve and the bit where Mitchell says they have new traditions every year, and it cuts to the Santa "Who's ready to try the swing?"

And we can confirm that most of Cam's tops are joyful.

I love this part where Jay comes over and sees the half-naked Santa afterwards.

Of all the days Jay will drop by, it was the day Cam helped out a stranger. A very Gloria-like thing to do actually.

Oh very, that Santa was a bad-ass and he was really nice despite outer apperances. It was a nice storyline in the ep to have Cam/Mitch help out someone like him.
