I'm so jealous! I just had a week off and I'm dreading going back to work on monday

Linds, I finished "Top of the lake". It was really good, a little bit predictable for me, but I still enjoyed it.

Thanks, Theresa. I wasn't online on twitter yesterday to check all the tennis news.

I'm due to watch Orange is the new Black this week, Caro, if I can find the time. I'll still watch Top of the Lake.

Hey guys! Here's some pics I took on Thursday, went to London Zoo with my brother. We also had cocktails and dinner at a posh restaurant and went to see "This is the end."

Great pics at the zoo, Theresa! Where are the lions, bears & elephants (the 3 animals I always want to see in a zoo, haha)? Oh, I always love eating at posh restaurants because of the ambiance. How was "This is the End"? I've just seen The Wolverine and I didn't like it.

They had no elephants, they had lions, tigers, giraffes! I wanted to see the Meercats and I always go to see the unusual animals

"This is the End" was really funny! It was also kind of gross at times. (as its about the apocalypse) but I love Seth Rogen, Danny Mcbride, that lot

Oh dear, I don't want to see Wolverine as the trailer looks rather dull, what was wrong with it?

We don't have meercats in our zoo here so that's really very nice.

I love Seth Rogen too ever since I saw Knocked Up.

The Wolverine, tbh, that movie we can do without. It was predictable for me and I was expecting more mutants. The teaser in the end did make me excited for the next X-Men movie because...

Yeah I really wanted to go and my brother was like, I'm not going to the zoo I am too old! I convinced him though (let him pick the restaurant as a compromise). Because my bro has been to Africa he's quite against animal been enclosed but he seemed to enjoy it in the end.

Knocked up is a great movie! The new X-men with the old and new cast does look good. Knew about it already as I saw the X-men panel at Comic Con.

^ The only reason I don't go to the zoo is cause it's not very well kept, the public zoo that is. There's another one owned by a private businessman but it's too far away from the city

I don't think one is old enough to not go to the zoo, it's pretty exciting seeing animals you don't normally see all the time. So I'm glad your brother agreed to go with you, Theresa. But I understand why he's iffy because he's been to Africa.

I was surprised that I liked Knocked Up so much because admittedly it started out silly for me but I ended up loving the movie.

Spoiler:

Caro, same here. The public zoo here is filthy and it smells. The best one is just out of town but an hour's drive from the city. Worth it because it has more animals and well maintained too.

Oh I understand that Caro. We have a few smaller zoos/farms, some better than others.
That's what I said Lindz, that it wouldn't matter, and it didn't really. Plus he usually gets to choose the activity for us, he usually picks art galleries so I am glad this time I got to choose something we would both like and I also picked the movie

Haha, I'm glad you both enjoyed it. Now it makes me want to visit the zoo because it has been years for me too.

Also, I forgot to mention, the private zoo has much better food

Ditto. The public zoo here really needs to be maintained. And don't even get me started about our horrible airport.

Both airports here are pretty good, they are well maintained since they went through renovations a couple years ago. And the free shop in the international one is to die for. But there are so many more things that need restoration, like schools and public hospitals, which are esential
