I thought Claire's surprise for Phil was really sweet. She got it right this year.

Me too! And I loved the little speech she gave Phil before unveiling her surprise. It was very thoughtful and she really did nail it, she knew Phil would love it :lovE:

I absolutely loved Claire in the new ep and all her scenes with Jay. It was nice to see them talk about Phil once again and that Jay has learned to accept him more now (not much but still a huge step for Jay).

I loved that too!!! It's so beautiful when they have bonding time I read a review that said that based on Claire's behaviour on this situation, she seems like the type of mom that on holidays would plan a hundred activities and wouldn't let you rest, which I thought was spot on
