5x09 "The Big Game" episode discussion
With a big football game coming up and a record to break, Coach Cam is intensely focused and showing no mercy even when the opposing team is playing with an unexpected disadvantage. Elsewhere, Claire is determined to prove to the staff that she is more than just the boss's daughter, and Phil tries to teach his kids a lesson about optimism, but the universe just isn't cooperating.

I loved the ep.
Lily and Luke were lovable and hilarious as always  Eveybody had some great moments. Claire with the domino closets  Manny is a sweetheart. Haley changing her name on the bleachers to make Alex feel better was so sweet. I love it when they give the sisters these sweet moments. __________________

Another enjoyable, fun & sweet ep.
It's nice to see back-to-back episodes of Jay/Claire bonding. I'm all for Claire's corner though. If I was the COO, I'd feel the exact same way as Claire. Also a very hilarious Phil episode too especially when he climbed the house to the open window to enter since the front door was locked. Classic Phil. At least he was able to get a client c/o Mitch's boss.  Cam was hilarious with his football team as well. I absolutely love that moment with Manny towards the end. Luke was funny as the football announcer.  I love the sweet sisters moment in the end. That was really so nice of Haley. AND DYLAN!!! But again, he's going away.  I thought the Gloria-Lily ep was okay too. My least fave SL but still funny nonetheless. Is this the last ep we'll see of Mitch's boss? I'm really liking Justin Kirk and I had hoped he'd be Mitch's boss forever.  __________________

Busy week for me so only just watched this.
Loved this episode! So many mixed pairings: Cam and Manny, Phil and Gloria, Gloria and Lily, Jay and Claire, Haley and Alex!! I was so happy to see Dylan and omg his hair looks so different! I was really excited when they made plans but gutted they couldn't do them, I guess they have a lot going on atm. I still think Haley likes him alot.Sweet of Haley to do that for Alex - she didn't make as many digs at her so perhaps she was feeling worried about her sister. The physical comedy of both Ty and Julie was great! They both got the chance to explore that. Lily's 9? I heard Gloria say that and I was like, say what? __________________
