Not many scenes with them, but I did like how Jake offered himself and John Blackwell to get the witch hunters to let Cassie go. He continues to show how much he really cares about her. He was willing to sacrifice himself and her father to save her.

I loved the look on Cassie face when Jake did that. She was worried about him. “What about Jake”.

It doesn’t matter that she is kind of moving on with Adam, she still hasn’t forgotten how much she cares about Jake.

I’m willing to ride this storm out. We just have to be patience.

I especially loved how John Blackwell went to go see Jake, finding out that he betrayed him in order to save his daughter. He didn’t go to Adam. He knows that Jake cares about Cassie and is willing to do anything to save her. I think he sees a little bit of himself in Jake. I loved how the writers did that. He wants to work alongside Jake to keep Cassie save.

And thanks for that article Katie . I’m definitely looking forward to see Jake fighting to win Cassie back. I’ll read the rest of the article later.

'Cassie and Adam hasn't worked for me ever.' The other guy chimes in 'They never will, they are milk toast.' 'They are very boring, and they keep trying and they are pushing it so hard to make it work and they shot themselves in the foot with the written in the stars talk.'

'Jake was admirable there. They are forcing the Adam storyline into the Cassie/Jake/Blackwell storyline and it doesn't fit. If they wanted Adam to be Cassie's love why wouldn't they have Adam run in after Cassie, why Jake? I need more to tell me why Cassie and Adam are connected. It just isn't working with them.'

I know Jake had his faults in the beginning but time and time again he was always there for her. Being a third wheel sure is a thankless job.

I really hate that Cassie hasn't even thought twice about Jake ever since he got back and there she was after he left making spells for him to return and now that he has she doesn't care, she could at least give him a thanks.

I hope that this Cassie and Adam thing makes them realize that they only think they like each other because of destiny and that they can't choose their own fate.

THIS. Look, I know Jake has a shady past and sometimes he does some questionable things but he was willing to sacrifice himself to save Cassie. Yes, he was trying to trade John at first, although I figured he thought John could take care of himself against Eben and the witch hunters. But yeah, she couldn't even at least thank him?

I thought the scene in her house in the beginning was funny. The way that Jake was kind of smiling when she pointed the umbrella at him and that little burst of energy that she shot his way felt very much like how they used to kind of tease each other. I'm starting to wonder if she's afraid to be alone with him, not b/c she thinks he's going to hurt her (b/c she points out constantly that she can protect herself ) but b/c of other reasons.

I was glad that John didn't hold a grudge against Jake for wanting to trade him for Cassie. He understood that Jake cares about Cassie and is just trying to protect her. Jake spent enough time iwth the witch hunters to know what they're capable of. And obviously, John knows them well enough to know that as well.

I loved how John and Jake teamed up at the end in order to keep Cassie safe. I'm wondering if they're setting Jake/Cassie/Adam as the current John/Amelia/Ethan. The fact that Faye has/had a thing for Jake like Gale does for John is interesting too.

Sofia, Cassie was glad that he was back in 'Witness' and even in 'Medallion'. It all changed when she let Adam drill into her that Jake is a "bad" guy and she found out that he had killed some witches in the past. She needs to try having an actual conversation instead of avoiding him. I mean, the guy traded his life for hers, does that count for nothing?

I'm in this for the long haul so I'm just going to have to get used to being frustrated just like I have with some of my other ships on Kevin Williamson's shows.

The goood thing though is that Adam and Cassie are getting done earlier and I would rather have Cassie with Adam and having feelings for Jake on the side than Cassie with Jake and wondering about what it would be like to be with Adam, this way round is better than the other.

I liked their scene in the beginning, it was cute with her threatening him with that umbrella. The look on his face was the best. Also he was willing to sacrife himself to get her safe, he really loves her.

Sofia, I think it's going to take a little while for Jake to earn her trust again if the last few episodes are any indication. And like you were saying, I'd rather Cassie figure things out with Adam rather than her being with Jake and wondering what it would be like to be with Adam.

I was thinking about John and Jake, and I wonder if John sees a little bit of himself in Jake when it comes to Cassie and the whole "written in the stars" destiny thing. I'm sure that John knew all about that too, but cared about and wanted to be with Amelia, "destiny" be damned.

That scene was great. ITA Jake always seems to know where Cassie is. That scene in the beginning reminded me of the Jake and Cassie we all grew to know the fun,flirting between the lines bantering. Jake wanted to stay at her house to watch her whats she afraid of being alone with him? That smile he was giving her even when she had that umbrella pointed at him and that burst of energy. Cute. Yea the sooner the better they get CADAM done with so she can realize what's shes been missing and the right one has always been in front of you the whole time. I want Cassie to realize all the stuff Jake has been doing for her as of late. I don't know if any of you watch Gossip Girl but Blair realizing all the stuff Dan has done for her and pointing that out was huge. She recognized all the wonderful stuff he has done for her. I feel as if Cassie has been spelled not by Eben but by Adam for now thinking that Jakes still the bad guy when he's not.
