I think that's it. Which I mean it's been done on other shows. How the family isn't that well off and the family owns a restaurant or something so the kid(s) work/help out there.

And it does help make him seem like the nice, honest, responsible and hard working young man that he's suppose to be. Ethan raised him well it seems.

Even if there are other people working there I would still expect Adam to work there. It's like that in rl too. Your parents own a restaurant you have a built in job.

Oh yes, he can earn enough money to have a car and sometimes take his girlfriend out too, it's a good deal.

I agree - I think working at the family restaurant gives Adam discipline and responsibility, whereas, others like Faye, might be carrying around a sense of entitlement instead.

I wonder if Adam will ever ask Ethan if he loved his mother considering how he felt about Amelia. Or ask Ethan how he dealt with being with his feelings for Amelia and his mother Cathy. And I wonder if Ethan has hidden the Conant book of shadows away or if he will give it to Adam.
