I watched "The Arrangement" with Michael Vartan ("Alias") and Lexa Doig ("Andromeda") on E! and was otherwise zonked out on painkillers. Not great. Hope everyone else is doing better. __________________

No, I haven't. They told me I'll have to take some time off in August and see that I find someone in Europe to do it. In the meantime they keep feeding me antibiotics and steroids.
I haven't met a single doctor in the U.S. who I trusted so it's just as well. But being sick for another eight months is not a great prospect. And then taking unpaid leave is also not great. __________________

No, the medication doesn't do anything. At best it makes things not worse. And no, it's not a great thing going home since it's not a holiday where I can relax and meet my friends and whatnot but I'll have to be in hospital and because I'll have to take unpaid leave for the surgery. I'm not sure if I can afford it.
No not really, I was mostly cold and miserable while trying to catch up on some reading for work. __________________

The idea is that presumably the doxycyclin and the dexamethasone along with the triamicinolonacetonid nasal spray should keep the infection and inflammation at least somewhat under control though it doesn't really go away. I don't know. Painkillers are thankfully just high doses of paracetamol... I'm really fearful that they'll prescribe me all that crap that Americans get addicted to.
Yeah, I really hate the cold. To think that we almost had 20°C on 1 November last year. __________________
