Marc Antony acts like a pig in this series. Not anything like Marlon Brando's version. What happened to, "Friends! Romans! Countrymen! Lend me your ears!"?

Atia is having none of it.

He's going to bury her now he has quiet down. I feel sorry for the children, especially the little boy who is the worst victim in the story

It is quite a somber episode, but still Marc needs to ...

Yeah, I know. This part is really sad. It's set in the backdrop of all the bigger political drama happening in Rome with Caesar's murder and Brutus' betrayal, and the power struggle between Brutus, Antony, and Octavian. But it does show the human element that often gets lost in the background, the nameless people who suffer and whom history forgets.

Dude really needs to learn to keep it in his toga.

Interesting how Niobe's subdued funeral is juxtaposed with Caesar's more regal funeral.

That's very well said Alex. I see why you can become a professional writer.

Thanks, Barbara.

Brutus isn't too pleased with his new position. Marc Antony is already playing his hand here.

Wow, Marc Antony is threatening Brutus, Cassius, and Servillia with an angry mob. He wants Brutus and Cassius gone, but Servillia and the women to stay as his "guests." Yeah, they're not gonna accept that.

So when does Marc Antony make his grand speech to the people of Rome?

Don't you remember Shakespeare? He wants to secure power in Rome by turning the people of Rome against Brutus and Cassius while they're away.

Maybe. But now he's screwed, because Lucius and Titus just killed all his men, and now they're gonna kill him.

Oh no. This bastard raped and killed Lucius' children and threw them in the river Tiber.

Wow, Lucius just decapitated that guy and he's carrying his head through the streets.

Well that was a depressing ending. Thanks for the great watch, Barbara! Let me know when you're free to do the next episode.
