Air pollution in Rome at this time ? They didn't have cars and factories releasing chemicals !

True but I am not sure that it is as bad as what we have ! People in some part of the World keeps a mask to protect them from pollution. Of course, people at the time couldn't compare with what we have now.

Is Servilia doing this for the good of the Republic, or because Caesar spurned her?

OMG, Titus freed that slave girl, but she wants to marry someone else.

And now Titus just killed that guy. So much for that. And Lucius isn't happy about this.

I don't know, did you hear him? Pullo said he loved Eirene, and Lucius said, "and this is how you show it?" And doing it in front of his children, no less. Sure, he was Lucius' property, but Lucius seemed to be implying a moral wrong here as well.
