i just read producted wrapped last week on a new movie Joanne is in also starring Cybill Shepard and Rosanna Arquette. It's called "Lunch Date" and was written and directed by Eleanor Coppola, wife of director Francis Coppola, mother of Sophia Coppola (who directed 'Marie Antoinette' with Kirsten Dunst). I searched the internet but couldn't find anything on the plot or release date. Hopefully some information will surface soon!

That sounds cool. Wow, so now Sophia's mom(Coppola's wife) is directing too? They're all in the family business.

I remember she has directed before –*a movie I watched a few years ago with Diane Lane and Alec Baldwin called "Paris Can Wait"
where she had also written the film script. Otherwise I think she mostly did documentaries though. But yes, I guess everyone in Hollywood is somehow related. Her brother for instance is Bill Neil, who did all the major camera work on the original Star Wars series and later also visual effects and camera work on Die Hard and The Fifth Element for example.

And yes a total shame that Daredevil was cancelled. Stupid Disney. Especially now that it got very interesting with Matt getting to know Maggie better and her basically stepping into the shoes of his spiritual mentor.

Yeah, well Disney has Disney+ now, so they don't need Netflix.

Yeah the problem is the demographics of Disney+ and how shows like Daredevil are too grown-up for it.

The last time I thought of Sofia was when I was watching "Dickinson" and it reminded me somewhat of her "Marie Antoinette" movie.
