I really hope so. I can't be bothered with self-absorbed people and many of them are actors or so I've heard from people who are actual fans.
Source: We're all stories in the end Source: arise sir boastalot Aww. I love Alessandro, he was such a good friend to Cesare who really didn't deserve it to be honest. __________________

Does Cesare had friends at all? I mean historically wise?

In the show he's also friends with Giovanni De Medici and according to the book I'm reading they went to school together (like in the show) so I think they could have been friends in real life.

As much as someone like this can have friends, I suppose. But yes, I liked that, as I liked having more historical persons around.

I think some people would want to be friends with Cesare because of his position and his power.

You mean like Isabelle D'Este? Yes, but is that real friendship or opportunism?

I don't think that's a real friendship.

Not really, no. I wouldn't say that Micheletto is his friend either. After all he's a hired hand - loyal until now.
And as for the other show, I think Alessandro was really his friend but screwed that up, it wasn't even funny. __________________

I know that's not a real friendship. But it's weird that he doesn't have any friends in The Borgias.

It's weird indeed. In't The Borgias he's too busy doing... other stuff.

Nelly - well, indeed, I guess. At least in the book I'm reading right now he has an entourage of Spaniards, Micheletto - a distant relative - among them. On the show he doesn't even bring random women home anymore. No wonder he just snapped.
