Okay, Arinna and I just got caught up on Outlander, so we're gonna watch Midnight, Texas soon. I swear. Arinna having her sister and nephew visit and me getting a new TV have set us back a bit, so please forgive us.

Yes, but he was putting his past mistakes behind him and trying to be a better man. Like Linda said, he was redeeming himself. If he was a completely moral character, he'd be boring. Trying to be good, but making mistakes is more interesting, more multi-dimensional. I don't think of morality in absolutes, like something is always wrong or always right. Humans make mistakes and life is shades of gray, so I'm not judging Manfred and Patience cause I'm not in their shoes. My concern is more practical, meaning what possible consequences will Manfred face when Kai finds out, cause you know he will.

While I understand that life is not all just black and white and that people make mistakes, we all have our good sides and flaws and it's what makes us complex and multi-dimensional as humans. But it's one thing to make mistakes and another to constantly make them...even with all of Manfred's traits and positive qualities, he seems to always get himself into trouble and tend to make bad decisions. As I mentioned before, I'm just worried that by continuously making more bad decisions it would just undo some of the redemption that he had worked so hard to build in S1. But maybe that's just how Manfred's character is, as a friend he can be very selfless and loyal as he has proven many times before, it's one of his good qualities, but at the same time his flaws are that he can also be selfish and has the tendency to make bad decisions and getting himself into trouble.

Anticipation

Yes, it certainly doesn't seem wise to risk angering someone as powerful as Kai.
My take is that Manfred isn't bothered about general morality, just with how he treats the people that he cares about.

I watched it. Poor Fiji's cat got turned into a dog.


Wasn't too keen on the were-tiger plotline, but Patience looked hot in those jean shorts and tank top. Manfred's lucky.

My favourite episode so far.

Yes Fiji turned Bobo into a dog in order to protect him it's only temporary until she finds a solution to break the curse.

I think ep 4 is my fav too so far, I love the weretiger storyline, the girl's connection with Olivia, loved that Patience helped the team, her growing closer to Manfred (though I'm still conflicted about their relationship), and Fiji turning Bobo into a dog!

Yeah, sorry, I think I got confused about that one. But that's a pretty good twist.

I wasn't that keen on the were-tiger thing, but I did love Patience in this episode. I especially loved what she was wearing.
