Welcome to the board! I'm Lila. It's nice to have another Cesar Borgia fan here! I've admired him forever & and would've likely fallen madly in love with that gorgeous sexy man if I'd ever met him I agree completely with your description of his character I love that he was ruthless & cunning. He knew what he wanted and took it (quite possibly even his own sister ) but he didn't kill anyone who didn't need killing Was it Machiavelli? or Sabatini? who said "Cesar Borgia was utterly without principle, save his one guiding principle - the achievement and maintenance of his own power, by any means available." He'd have accomplished so much and been an unbeatable force had Rodrigo lived & had he not underestimated that spawn of satan, della Rovere
You're right, he always signed his name without the "e". So as a sign respect & affection for him, I will remember to write it that way, too. Thanks for the reminder I'm glad François isn't a bigger star. I admire him for not seeking fame and remaining true to his values. So you're british? Another european here on the board I'm french, but lived in London for a while & his accent was perfect. I did know he was french canadian, because I've loved him as an actor (and lusted after his body ) since seeing him in Les Grandes Chaleurs Is Rapid Eye Movement already out? I'm looking forward to seeing it. Honestly, I'm not a fan of Midnight Texas, but would watch him staring at paint dry, especially if he was naked He WAS Cesar Borgia. Like Arinna said here, when you do a google search for Cesar, François' picture shows up. He's defended Cesar Borgia in interviews saying that he loves him even though he did very bad things, and feels like he can relate to him, cause he's got the same kind of darkness inside of him. Both are fascinating men on all kinds of levels. Quote:

Hi, Lila!
I actually agree with you about Francois not being a bigger star. Big stars usually aren't that accessible. I'm glad that we still have Francois in more accessible stuff like Midnight, Texas. __________________

[QUOTE=Anticipation;95069395)I like the hair.[/QUOTE] Hi Anticipation! Thanks for the promo link He does have great hair, doesn't he? I like it, too. Too bad he doesn't let it grow longer. I loved his hair in season 3 of The Borgias, but I have a thing for guys with long curly hair |
