Hi Linda! He has the accent, but doesn't look american at all. He looks like a european gypsy in MT His french ancestry really shows in his face, especially his eyes. The large babydoll eyes are a common french trait. It's one thing that makes our faces so beautiful

My bf and I marathoned MT last weekend at his parents' house We liked it, but I still prefer TB and François as Cesare That was his best role and performance since Les Grandes Chaleurs. He's so charming and sexy in that film Have you seen it Linda? It's in french, but I'm sure you can find it with english subtitles if you don't speak french.

Well Francois is not American anyway, he's actually Canadian with French descent, he was born in France to French parents and grew up in Canada, that's probably why he has a lot of French traits

I'm glad you watched MT and liked it of course Cesare is still his best and most prominent role to date there's no doubt about that, every Francois fan would probably love him as Cesare the most and that role made him popular afterall, I think most of his fans probably came to love him mainly because of Cesare, so of course Cesare is still leaps and bounds better than any other role he has played so far. But I do like him in some of his other roles too, Manfred's a likable character even with his flaws, and I liked him as Oscar in the TV series Blindspot too. Francois is known for often playing 'badboy' types of characters, he has played quite a lot of those kinds of roles over the years. Another badboy antagonistic role of his I like is Christian Booth in the TV movie High School Lover, he played a very controlling and violent and psychotic boyfriend in that movie, I recommend you watch that movie if you haven't already, Francois is very good at playing badboy and villainness roles

No I don't think I've seen Les Grandes Chaleurs yet, however I have watched another French language movie Francois was in called Moroccan Gigolos, have you seen that one yet?

Yes, I know he's french canadian and it's fun to see him play american roles. François is very good, but his french qualities are still so obvious. Maybe not to americans idk, but to us french his little mannerisms are there

OMG Linda, if you'd seen Les Grandes Chaleurs, you'd remember François is so hot in that film, it's not something you'd forget - every scene he's in is definitely memorable He's as naked as possible without it being a porn film. It's not sleazy, just really ummm revealing. Trust me. Just watch it. Even if you don't speak french and can't find it in subtitles; JUST..WATCH...IT!...dialogue isn't even required, you can mute the sound & just look at him, that's all you need to do...

High School Lover is his only movie I haven't seen, so thanks for reminding me of it. He's great at playing bad boys, isn't he? He's said in interviews that he has a certain darkness and I think that's part of his charm. He also understands women. It's obvious he's an amazing lover just from watching him on film. Men who understand women and also embrace their own darkness make great lovers and are natural bad boys. It's why us women love them so much

Yeah, I think it's cool that Francois is Canadian, but he can play pretty much anything. It's still difficult to separate him from Cesare, but I do like him as Manfred.
