I love you, Arinna.
I know that I posted a lot (I just wanted to reply to everyone here ), so I understand that Alex needs a little more time to fully reply. Especially that he was (is?) busy. xD |

Well, we don't have police with loudspeakers, but the rest is pretty much the same. Only grocery stores, pharmacies, and gas stations are open. I haven't checked banks and post offices yet, but I assume they're open. Thanks, you too. Quote:
Yeah, Tom Hanks and his wife both have coronavirus. But they're doing okay in Australia. Quote:
Thanks. I'm glad I finally watched it. Yeah, I felt that it was a bit rushed at times, but I know they only have two hours to tell the story. But I did like Freddie and Mary's story. It's a shame how things turned out. The movie never mentioned that he left his estate in London to her, saying in a note, "You would've been my wife, and it would've been yours anyway." He also left her his ashes, and she's the only one who knows where he requested to be buried. Yep, I already told you I saw the deleted scene with Crazy Little Thing Called Love on YouTube. Actually, Freddie came up with the idea for the song while he was in a fancy hotel bathtub having a bubble bath. I really wish they'd have kept that performance in the movie. It would only have added a couple of minutes to the movie. Well, I'm not sure if he had it in 1985. He probably contracted it 1986 or 1987 from what I've read. Quote:
Thanks. I thought so too. But seriously, if Stairway To Heaven was two minutes longer, then what would the problem be with Bohemian Rhapsody? Quote:
Well, Rami was born in Los Angles, California, so he's American with Egyptian ancestry, and a little Greek. It bothered me too. They went for his mustache look a bit too soon. Well, they didn't mention in the movie that Freddie originally didn't like the song, We Will Rock You, when Brian played it for him. But he eventually was convinced. OMG, Raimi was in Twilight? I totally forgot about him in Breaking Dawn. Well, that's not really one of my favorite movie series. Quote:
You don't wanna? Then I guess I don't have to explain it to you. Yes, I know. Zombies always creeped me out. I got burned by a few real life ships, so I don't do that anymore. Quote:

Everything about Jemima is cute! Then you should watch it! It's great! There's also a movie, but I haven't seen it yet. It's a new movie, from 2019. Quote:
But great to hear that they're doing okay. Quote:
Quote:
Yeah, you're right, but as you said, they only had 2 hours. So do I! Quote:
Quote:
It would be so cool to see it! Quote:
And you're right! Quote:
But I read somewhere that it was between 1985 and 1986. But I also read that it could be in 1984, so... Quote:
Quote:
And I have no idea... Especially that Bohemian Rhapsody was shorter... Quote:

What a pity! Quote:

So yeah... We can skip that. Quote:
Oh yes, he is very hilarious! In his own crazy way! By the way, I first saw him in Ace Ventura movies, when I was 8/9 years old... So my first experience with Jim Carrey was PRETTY WILD... And it didn't stop me from having a HUGE crush on him when I was a little girl. Just imagine, an 8-years old girl having a crush on Ace Ventura... Yup, I was a strange kid. Me either! I've seen this movie about a week ago, on YT, without any subtitles (neither polish nor english)... And I think that it's a miracle that I understood it in 100%! Or maybe that is a VERY easy english... Here you can watch a whole movie : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdXEXFw4GIM Oh yes, Jim definitely doesn't need any CGI! He perfectly manipulates his face without it! As for In Living Color, these are my favorite sketches with Jim : French Waiter Dickie Peterson, Cherub of Justice - Part I Dickie Peterson, Cherub of Justice - Part II Fox News/Background Guy By the way, Jim as Cherub of Justice is sooo awkwardly adorable, or maybe I should say adorkable (adorable + dorky). And this whole lisping... Young Jim Carrey with lisp, OMG. I kinda have a thing for a lisping... I don't know why... But I'm not fond of spitting, or something like that. Quote:

You mean presidential elections?
If yes, then... We probably gonna have postal voting. I don't know how it's going to work, we never voted like this before... https://www.reuters.com/article/us-h...-idUSKBN21M0D3 Quote:

I meant the polls for David, but it's okay. I don't know how is in Poland, but here in Bulgaria, we're in a lockdown 'tll May 15th. And since I am an English teacher, we're not on the online education. It is tough. I hope you are ok, hun!

Well, I kinda think Taylor Swift is cute, so I guess so. I heard about the movie. Quote:
Yeah, Tom and his wife, Rita Wilson, both have it. But yes, I heard they're doing okay. They also didn't get to spend a lot of time on Freddie's family, especially his parents. I liked his sister. I couldn't believe that Roger was hitting on Freddie's sister right there during the family dinner. Quote:
Well, I don't think there's gonna be a second part. There's not much story to tell after Live Aid. Queen did the Highlander soundtrack and went on their A Kind of Magic tour, but they fell out of sight after that. They worked mostly in the studio nd didn't tour much or at all right up to Freddie's death. So that would be kind of boring and depressing. I remember when I saw Highlander for the first time and heard the music. I was like, "wow, I haven't heard from Queen in a while. Well, I heard Freddie had taken a blood test for HIV in 1986 and was officially diagnosed in April of 1987. So who knows? Quote:
Yeah, well, they didn't have enough time for everything. I wasn't a fan of the Twilight movies, to be honest. I watched them because Arinna liked the books, so I really didn't remember Rami in them. I preferred The Hunger Games. Quote:
You had a crush on Jim? That's cool. I first saw Jim Carrey in the 80s vampire comedy Once Bitten, before he got famous. He was really young in that. Thanks for the video link, Jemima! I'm still surprised I never heard of this movie before. Quote:
Ah, thanks for those links as well. It's been a long time since I've watched In Living Color. Oh, you do? No, I don't like spitting either. __________________

Yeah, it is tough... Thanks! And I hope you're ok too! As for David, I know that the voting is closed (He's on 13th place ), but I don't know when is gonna be another one. The Most Handsome British Actors 2019 | Bestofthelist Renée would probably know. She is the expert of this whole voting thing. Quote:
Yeah, it's not very comfortable... Quote:
As I read, Jonadette Carpio played Jemima in movie, but they gave her different name, Syllabub. I don't know why. I need to see this movie, soon. In a DVD version of this musical (1998) Jemima was played by Veerle Casteleyn (She is the one on my avi). Quote:
Oh yes, that scene, everyone at the cinema laughed when he did that! And the look on Freddie's father's face... I wonder if Roger was hitting on Freddie's sister in real life... Quote:

Yeah, they would've probably told him something like this. Quote:
I've only seen movies, but I also have books. But I'm just not drawn to read them at this moment. Right now I'm re-reading books of "Princess Diaries" series (sentiment from childhood). And full name of a main character reminded me why Lila's nick sounded so familiar for me. And her name is: Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo. As for The Hunger Games, I've also only seen movies. Quote:
But at first it was just a crush on one of his character, Ace Ventura. This Jim's character was the first I ever saw when I was a little girl, sooo.... And I was very into his craziness. I think that Ace is the craziest character of all Jim's characters. My friend is not very pleased whenever I'm having a re-crush on Jim, especially when I'm talking about Ace Ventura all the time. She told me, she would kill him (Ace) with a teaspoon, if someone forced her to hang around with him. As for Once Bitten, I saw it like few years ago, and yes, Jim is so young and so innocent in this movie! And this is my FAVORITE scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyPc-1QdzSE In my opinion it's even better than the final dance scene in Dirty Dancing! Quote:

So now you can watch it again. Quote:
As for spitting... Well, lisping = yes, spitting = NO! Last edited by Jemima1205; 04-05-2020 at 12:35 PM |
