Personally I think that Cesare was the old brother. The words that Rodrigo says to him, that he wanted Cesare to take the throne after him, were enough to me. And the most historical authors support my opinion.

It sounds more real, because Rodrigo wanted him to be the next "king" of Italy.

I mean, if you read the history about the Borgias, there were lots of rumors and secrets surrounding them, however - the one thing stays real! Cesare was Rodrigo's most trusted member of the family. He was his weapon and his right hand. He didn't trust anyone more than him. So, I'm kind of able to agree with the theory of Cesare being the first born.

Really? But I thought that Rodrigo intended for Cesare to remain in college of Cardinals so he could eventually become Pope while Juan let the armies?

He did want Cesare to eventually become pope after him.

However when you check on wikipedia and stuff it mentions Juan to be younger than Cesare although not by much but yes Borgia made Juan the older brother

To be fair The Borgias and Los Borgia both played with Cesare being older, I think the only hollywood adaptation that said Juan was older was Borgia. Then again Borgia also ended with Cesare going to America, we can't take it seriously
