Yes, Felice - me too. Involved her in my fanfics... I mean obviously he hid her in Savona and the Borgia never captured her but I kind of played the "what if" scenario.
 I always said if they brought her on the show, Kaya Scadelario would have to play her. Oh and apart from all the things he mentioned he was also rumoured to have had an affair with Vanozza before Rodrigo. Tom & Jerry is the right comparison.  No seriously, it kind of insults my intellect what they are doing with them.Sorry everyone - I'm just so sad about this all. __________________

You're not the only one really. In fact, I think we're armies of people
the tumblr craziness is just a portion of C/L shippers and Caterina Sforza fans, I guess. By which I don't mean they don't have a clue or anything like that, I just think that people who have studied the actual story, as Neil Jordan claimed to have done, have the right to expect something really different. I mean look at The Tudors: it's not like Michael Hirst took a history book and put it into the show, but at least he wrote something really entertaining, filled with passion, blood, politics, pretty good emotional stuff, even sex (even too much, lol), and nobody ended up looking like the saints they were not. __________________

Frankly, I never enjoyed the Tudors much apart from Mary Tudor. Didn't really raise any emotions in me. I think there needs to be a good balance of things, I agree with you that it had that, maybe it just wasn't "a story for me". If you know what I mean. I think for me to actually think something is worth talking about, there has to be a certain something something which the Borgias used to have.
As for the Caterina Sforza fans - I know some and they are horrified by what is going to happen. Me too actually. Not just for CL reasons. But yes, I kind of ask myself - what exactly did Neil Jordan read? __________________

The problem with that obviously, one seems to have a tendency to glorify the dead. And suddenly they are more important to you than they were when they were still alive.

I'm probably not supposed to write this here, but since we've been talking about the plots and the historical inaccuracies... I just read some huge spoilers and I think I'm done with this show. I might watch it, but in my spare time.
