False, sadly.

Scarlett Johansson was Neil Jordan's original choice for Lucrezia.

True, because I know that from you.

Lucrezia was never married.

False.

I did tell you that, didn't I?

Juan suspected Cesare and Lucrezia of incest.

True or False?

False...she was one of his concubines, but she was also by far his most significant mistress, always loving her spiritually.

True...at least in the sense that he had good leadership skills, fierce, cunning and was a great tactician.

I think that's true...maybe Lucrezia was Vanozza's favourite child? But then again she was close to Cesare too. On second thought, I'm not sure about this one.

I had overlooked this one before...

True...though Juan had no proof, but he had suspected for a long time that they had an incestuous relationship or at least were suspiciously too close for siblings. Juan was a prick and a jackass in the series, but at least he seemed more observant than their parents when it came to Cesare & Lucrezia's relationship.

I meant on the show, Nina.

And True, Alessandro became Pope Paul III.

Hi, Linda! Thanks for bumping this thread up! Actually, the way this thread works is similar to TPBM thread, where you answer the previous poster's question and then post your own question.

Rodrigo was a lawyer.

True or False?

Lucrezia conceived a child with Cesare after the events of the series finale, true or false?

True, in my dreams. But we'll never know, sadly.

Hi, Linda! I'm busy typing a reply to you on the Cesare/Lucrezia thread.

Rodrigo put women in charge of papal duties.

True or False?

In my dreams they conceived several children together

False.

After the death of Rodrigo Borgia, Cesare & Lucrezia faked their own deaths and escaped Rome, they managed to sneak into America and lived out the rest of their lives in peace and obscurity with their children. True or false?

Actually the answer to Alex's question should be "true". Because in 1501 Rodrigo did leave Lucrezia as his representative in charge of the Holy See. I think that was even depicted on "The Borgias" though in reality the reason for it was different.

Well, as for the America thing that is definitely false... or maybe fanfiction material though.

Rodrigo intended to marry his niece to Della Rovere's nephew. True or False?

oh that's right, in S2 they did depict Rodrigo putting Lucrezia in charge of his holy seat at St. Peter while he and Cesare traveled to the North. I can't believe I forgot about that scene, and it's one of my favorite scenes too

On "The Borgias" it involved a baking lesson as a metaphor and I think it was linked to the plotline of Vanozza and Giulia blackmailing cardinals. It's been a long time that I've watched it. In reality, Rodrigo left Lucrezia in charge because after Louis XII invaded Naples (after having divided its territory with Spain and deposed its king), Rodrigo saw this as a chance to go against the Colonna, one of Rome's powerful families, and reduce their influence. I remember that it was also a sort of ploy to give the impression that Lucrezia yielded political influence (which she may as well have), which made her a more attractive marriage prospect for Alfonso d'Este, future duke of Ferrara – whom she ultimately did marry.

And in addition to leaving Lucrezia in charge in his absence, on the show he also put Giulia in charge of accounting duties due to her familiarity with the accounting system of the Medici banks. I don't know if he did that in reality.

Oh, man, I have no idea, Nina. True?

Rodrigo Borgia/Pope Alexander VI was able to give his final confession before he died.

True or False?
