Wow, that's how you thought of M/S, May? I never got that impression of them at all, really. I thought they both complimented each other in that they both had something the other lacked and in a way they were trying to save each other. But I understand that a lot of fans just liked the episodes and weren't really shippers. By the way, do you know that the X-Files fanbase invented the phrase "shipping?" They were originally called the "relationshippers," which got cut down to "shippers, which made it an active verb.

Wow, you didn't start shipping Mulder/Scully until the movies, Nina? I started right out of the gate.

Honestly Alex, I stil see the first 9 seasons M/S that way. Scully was always selfless doing her best to help Mulder ALL THE TIME. All she got was being kidnapped and experimented with and literally he treats her like CRAP a lot in the first 5 seasons... as a Scully fan I realized Doggett was way better than Mulder, meaning he always looked after her, even if he didn't agree with her... he was the nicer guy

Wow, really? See, I thought that Scully treated Mulder with condescension in the beginning. While they often fought over the legitimacy of Mulder's theories, I never thought he ever treated Scully like crap. And Doggett? I thought he was boring. Oh well...

Yeah, the next episode is tomorrow, and it looks like another funny one, like Humbug, War of The Coprophages, Jose Chung's From Outer Space, and all the other comedic X-Files episodes.

Oh don't get me wrong Alex, Doggett was indeed boring as well as Reyes, but he was a nicer guy

And yeah in regards to Scully I'm not really counting season 1 cause I barely remember any of it, I'm counting from S2 pretty much. I wasn't a Scully fan until season 2 (second half) anyway.

War of The Coprophages is still one of the best ones, the whole joke of the little legs not reaching the pedals (again it's funny but he's being a dick) will forever remain in my memory. And Clyde Bruckman's final repose is also a favorite of mine.

Oh, you don't remember season 1 of The X-Files, May? Well, I really can't see Mulder the same way you do. But we can agree to disagree.

Yeah, I liked Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose as well. Those were all episodes written by Darin Morgan.

I know, Arinna! I watched it too!

I just watched it too! It was an awesome episode! Another great episode from writer Darin Morgan, writer of The X-Files episodes Humbug, Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose, War of the Coprophages, Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space,' Quagmire, and last season's Mulder and Scully Meet The Were-Monster.

I think it was all over the place, but I liked the flashbacks to the original series.

So did I. I miss the show the way it was back then. One of my few good memories of the 90's.

Not until the second movie, no.

So -- top ten episode, everyone?
