Arinna's correct. It was an older more latin heavy version, but italian yeah. Like merry olde England english
I'd change history, Alex! To have Cesar die with Lucrezia instead of alone, for example. It would lead to the butterfly effect, I know, but maybe that chain reaction would make the world better. __________________

Pshhh! I've studied the time period of the Borgias and the Medici. I have a work written for them.

Oh, so it would've been Italian, but an older version of Italian? Gotcha.
But what if in changing history to save Cesare and Lucrezia, you make it so that the USA never exists? If you radically alter European history it could affect the events that lead up to the American Revolution and prevent my home country from existing. __________________

Lila, the work evolved around the Borgias and the Medici as people, who cherished and helped the art back then. This is how I learned about Cesare and Lucrezia and the rumors around them.
What about the US, Alex? __________________

How do you know that screwing up European history wouldn't affect the American Revolution, Arinna? Who knows, if Cesare conquered all of Europe, the USA might not exist.

Cesar wanted to be king of the Romagna, not all of Europe. He may have achieved his goal if he hadn't gotten sick when Rodrigo died

Yeah, but do we know that if he became king of Italy that... well, who knows?
Yeah, it's a shame things went wrong for him. __________________

I know Italy wasn't a country back then. Cesar had planned to take Naples for King Louis. It was a strategic move that benefited Cesar greatly, because the Romagna laid between Naples and Venice. He needed Naples as an ally and with Lucrezia holding Ferrara, the 3 states would have powerful enough to keep Cesar's enemies isolated in Venice.

I'm sorry, Lila. Wow, you really know lot about him. I think we forgot about Cesare and Lucrezia. __________________
