Yeah I agree, Alex, and maybe it was a morning after scene with Lu returning for an encore after sneaking out of Ces' room in the middle of the night. We can only hope

Alf was probably passed out drunk with a pacifier stuck in his little mouth. Ces did say he needed a bigger cot like baby Giovanni, so maybe he was asleep in the nursery while Lu was in her brother's bed

I agree with Arinna that things happened between them, especially after she fled Naples and they were all over each other in front of Alf and Ces' men. Why get the palace for Lu unless Ces had plans for her and him? Too much ambiguity for me to take things at face value

I was so upset when that scene didn't turn out to be a morning after scene.

I mean, if Lucrezia could sneak into Cesare's bedroom early in the morning, she could've done it in the middle of the night after Alfonso was passed out drunk.

Yeah, yeah, the building with the secret passage where Cesare could sneak into Lucrezia's place for discreet meetings.

That would've brought the story full circle from season 1, when Rodrigo used a similar trick with Giulia.

I think that implies enough that they kept doing whatever they uh... were doing at the wedding night.

Yeah, but that was later on. I think they still could've stolen a moment when she and Alfonso first moved into Rome. Was that Cesare's home they were in, or the Vatican?
